These ladies and their bakery concoctions are the best. I prefer getting my coffees here over the nearby Starbucks. I also enjoy their delicious take away lunches! I have ordered a summer salad in a batch and fall pies, they were both a crowd pleaser. The bakery does great with gluten-free options and I love how they find ways to mix up their menu. Overall a stellar bakery!

The best cupcakes! They are the best at making delicious treats. Our office has had them provide cup-cakes and regular-cakes on several occasions and everyone just loves them. Have also had them cater sandwiches etc. and pretty good too. Only complaint is that their counter menu for salads and sandwiches is limited(probably by choice. to focus on catering). and tiny bit pricier than the other options around. quality and taste probably make it worth. but can’t be the daily option… at least for me :)

This place is amazing! The salads are delicious and the pastries are even better. When we need something tasty for a special occasion, this has been our go-to place for about a year.(Also when we need something tasty for non-special occasions :-)) The gluten-free stuff is particularly impressive — you really can’t tell it’s gluten-free, the flavors and textures are perfect. And I’ve really done my part to sample a variety of baked goods.(It’s very important to me that my reviews are well-researched, you see.) And the sisters who run the place are super nice. So — really you just need to go there now. They’re usually open Mon-Fri, and they close mid-afternoon, so check the hours and be sure you get over there early enough to pick up something yummy!

Two really nice young women(sisters?) run this bakery/sandwich shop/caterer. The salads are made to order and gourmet(these are not sub shop salads), and the same goes for their sandwiches and paninis. The sweets are also out of this world — lots of variety and gluten free options. A little out of the way location-wise, and funny hours, but these girls rock!

I great little bakery that offers some delicious lunch sandwiches, salads, and of course knock out damn good baked goods. I had a wonderful chicken capraise wrap and a 7 layer bar(congo bar) and was thrilled it was the best part of my day. The cookie bar made me remember of my mother’s baking at Christmas. So so good. My wrap and cookie was just shy of $ 10 but I will be back! FYI– The business’s name is Bittersweet Bakery, and not just Bittersweet.

Bittersweet has amazing pastries and their ability to create sweets for different food intolerances is incredible. For our holiday party, we ordered gluten and dairy free cupcakes. They were great; you’d never know the difference. I’ve also had their carrot cake, brownies, and cake pops — all delish. Besides satisfying your sweet tooth, they have a variety of salads and sandwiches for lunch. I’m personally a fan of chicken and goat cheese salad. The location is small and located in the back of West Cummings Park. Atusa and Panta are extremely friendly and really make you feel welcome. Great food, great people, highly recommended.

Best chocolate chip cookies ever!!! A few of my other favs: avocado chicken panini, southwest chicken salad, sweet potato panini. I’m sure everything is delicious, I just haven’t tried it all! And the girls who work there are so sweet

First, I should say that this review is based on one visit and one sandwich, but what a fantastic sandwich it was! I chose the eggplant. This is a little different than your typical eggplant parm. Eggplant, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella, basil aioli pressed on baguette You can taste the freshness of every ingredient, and the fresh baguette takes it over the top. can’t speak for the other lunch items or deserts, but if that eggplant sandwich was the only thing on the menu it would be worth the trip.

This Place is AWSOME! They use real ingredients not fillers or poor quality ingredients. I have tried several of their sandwiches, scones, and cupcakes! This Bakery is a rare find they make all of their products there and they have Real Butter crème! I highly recommend this place I go every Friday.

This place owned by two sisters are what I would call one of those hidden gems of food deliciousness. Sadly this place is only open to the public on Friday. The rest of the week they only do catering. They’re located in the back of a office park near Cummings’ main office and you’ll probably never find it if you weren’t looking for the place. They make some of the most delicious scones and cupcakes I have ever had. My favorite so far have been the savory ones like Bacon and Egg and Pizza. Their sweet ones are nothing short of delicious like their white chocolate raspberry scone and peanut butter scones. When they’re open they only have a limited quantity of assorted pastries but they do take pre-orders as well as special orders via email if you got your heart set on something you really want. They also make special cupcakes for different occasions(birthday, valentines, etc) Their sandwich specials they have are great too even if they were pre-made. I had their chipotle chicken sandwich and also their eggplant sandwich. Both were nothing short of delicious. Highly recommended for anybody who’s around on a Friday morning/afternoon looking for some good pastries
