Love this place! Been going for years. Love the idea of the sessions that are not used for the month, it gets rolled over. The only thing the stinks is I have to pay extra for a gift card, even if I use my membership rated. The gift card is not worth the $ 10. Any way therapists are awesome!!!

Perfect to just relax and feel pampered. I left feeling much better than when I walked in. The staff were friendly and professional. I recommend!

If you’re looking for a therapeutic massage where they listen to what is bothering you and form a massage specific to your needs and recommend what to do to continue your care, this is not the place for you. It’s a very basic massage, they aren’t really about healing. More so just offering you a place to relax and be pampered. If you’re looking for that then this is the place for you. I’ve had pleasant experiences for a last minute massage… But for real health benefits I go elsewhere.

Gonna make this brief… called last minute and was able to be taken right away. I met Joanne in our private room and told her to focus on my back. She was very sweet and explained their wellness program to me and I never once felt pressured into buying a package. At certain points, I felt like the pressure was too strong, but I figured it was for the best since my back is a mess. Overall, the massage was GREAT and she gave me a bottle of water afterwards. I can not sign up for their wellness program, but I will certainly be back and I would definitely ask for Joanne again. Thank you!

After my previous very poor review I was contacted by the management of Elements to see what they could do. I was given the option of having an appointment at the stoneham location and took it. Had a pleasant experience. Great masseuse, made me feel very comfortable. Enjoyed this experience much more

Wow, I’m surprised to see all the negative reviews for this business. I have to say, I think it’s really variable, as with all the chain massage places — but if you know who to ask for you WILL get a good experience. A little research always pays off when it comes to finding a good masseuse. I prefer deep tissue work, and Elements does a good job of indicating in advance who the stronger masseuses are when you go to book a massage on their website. I have had 2 mediocre massages here(by my standards) in the past year and a half. Both were done by people who were labeled as mid-level pressure. One, a guy who talked through the entire massage — one of my pet peeves — and who couldn’t do deep tissue work. Another by a woman who was again just too light-pressure for me. Elements ranks them as 1 – 4 for pressure when you book an appointment through their site. Both of the mediocre massages came from 2 – 3 level people, so be sure to filter your choices if you like a firmer hand. The really good ones are 3+ and 4, IMO, and at least two of them do a great job at Elements. Wendy and Thuy(aka Molly). They are both skilled at deep tissue work, pleasant, and responsive to requests and feedback. I always go with one of the two, and am never disappointed. The only real downside is the location, parking and traffic in the evenings.

This review is specifically for Wendy at Elements Woburn. She is a 5+ on the 1 to 5 pressure scale and the only therapist there able to provide real deep tissue massage for me. I can walk in there a train wreck of knots and I walk out a new person. I recommend everyone check their site for the type of massage and pressure ratings for each of the therapists. I believe most peoples poor experiences are getting the wrong therapist for them. As for the rest of elementals Woburn the staff is very professional, friendly and everything is always clean and comfortable.

After FINALLY getting out of my membership with another chain massage place, I thought I’d give Elements a chance since I’d heard good things about it. I opted for the Woburn location as they were offering the $ 49 first time rate. I’ll start with the«Cons» so I can end my review on a high note. First off there is no «quiet room» or «relaxation room» — the room most places have in between the lobby and the room you have your massage. So while you’re sitting waiting for your massage you’re forced to sit in the reception area while the phone rings, people come in & out, people pay their bill and make other appointments, etc and the very friendly but VERY chatty receptionist tells you all of the benefits of signing up for a membership.(Not a high pressure sale by any means, just didn’t seem to be the appropriate time for the pitch.) Not exactly the best way to get into the right headspace for your upcoming massage. Give me a dimly lit room, some soft music, a warm neck wrap and let me zone out please! Unfortunately that’s not happening here! I wasn’t really interested in their«Wellness Program»(membership) but the biggest turn off is that you can only use it at that location, unlike other chain places where you can use it at any of their locations in the country. But the reason I was there was for a massage and that was fantastic! I was a little nervous when I first met my therapist as she didn’t have much personality and didn’t really give me much chance to tell her about what kind of pressure I prefered, but I did get to tell her I was there because of neck pain and to mostly concentrate on my upper body. She did a wonderful job working out the knots and tension, there were a few times it hurt in a good way, but a few times it just hurt too much– I asked her to please lighten up on the pressure in those spots and she listened,(sometimes they don’t!) lightened it up and continued with a wonderful massage. A lovely foot rub was followed by hot towels wrapped around my feet– a nice, relaxing little extra! Afterwards she gave me some tips on stretching out my neck, a bottle of water and a chocolate mint(I thought that was a nice touch I’ve never seen anywhere else– chocolate & a massage– not a bad day!) I’m reluctant to ever get into another membership with any franchise/chain massage place, so I didn’t sign up for theirs, but I would recommned trying out the introductory rate and I can probably see myself paying the full price rate to come in maybe once or twice a year.

I love Elements in Woburn. I have been going there for years and I would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff is professional and polite, the massage therapists(especially the level 4 woman) are EXCELLENT, and the ambiance of the place is lovely. It’s spotless, pristine, relaxing, and soothing. I’ve had a million massages over the past 15 years all over the world and can be very picky about them– and I go back to Elements again and again. I also have to mention again that the level 4 woman is one of the best massage therapist I’ve ever, ever encountered. She works wonders!

I’ve been going to the Woburn location during and after my pregnancy, and have always had a positive experience! The two therapists I book with are wonderful. They care about ensuring a good massage, and I feel like a new person every time I leave the appointment. As a picky client who has worked in therapeutic massage school administration, I am so grateful to have found not only one but two therapists that offer the perfect pressure for my needs! Also, there is an elements location closer to my home, but I commute the extra time because the Woburn location works for me. Another plus is the owner is super nice, so it’s a plus to support her business. Ps– for all elements locations, be sure to tip the therapists fairly. Because it’s a discount program, you can imagine how much the therapists actually take home after the franchise deducts its share.

So I went there on Saturday afternoon after a long day. My boyfriend had bought me a package so I called at 3:30 and they were able to take me at 4:45. Awesome service. I had been before, and the massage therapist who was an older woman wasn’t able to do the necessary work I needed. But still, I came back to give it another shot. I walk in — rooms are clean, I’m greeted by the nice woman at the front and then proceed to go into my room with Brittany the therapist. She was AWESOME. I’m in school so I’m constantly reading and looking down — needless to say I was tight. I walked out of there feeling wonderful. I would strongly recommend Britany — she was wonderful!

I’ve been going here for about a year now and have had pretty good experiences… except for one. I love love love Erica! Her massages are super relaxing I leave feeling stress free. Britney is like right to business. She gets rid of all my kinks and just fixes me :-) elements is super affordable, convenient to get to, ad great customer service. I’m very pleased!

Again, the Elements employees are still harassing me about my poor review. Wow. Not only are the super persistent about selling you a membership, but the are even more persistent about telling you that you have nothing better to do with your time but review their company. I would seriously recommend steering clear.

Instead of trying to get an appointment with 1 masseuse they have a full time staff. If you get an EFT the prices are good. They all try to please. Like anything else this personal some of the staff give a great massages while others are so so.
