We like them. However, i believe they’ve closed. We’ve called and the number has been disconnected.

Great food and friendly service! They don’t skimp on spice either. I order takeout here occasionally and it is always fast, hot, and well packed. Price-wise it’s less expensive than most other area Indian places. I’ve never tried the buffet, but I hope to!

Cheap, friendly, fast, and delicious Indian food. This is one of my favorite places to be comforted by a spoonful of spicy curry and washing it down with a refreshing gulp of lassi. The owner is very friendly and will be happy to help you with your order if you’re indecisive. The environment is very casual– best for take out but I still like to stop by with a friend and chow down. If you’re around the area, I highly recommend this place. Simple, no frills, delicious, and affordable.

Woburn’s Main Street is turning into a nice alternative ethnic restaurant area. Indian Express is one of the newer entries, on the north end of the area. It is decent North Indian cuisine. I was there for the lunch buffet. Two chicken dishes, four veggie dishes, freshly-made nan, and gulab jamun for dessert, for $ 9.99. They put a pitcher of water on the table for me, and wrapped my leftover nan in foil to take home. They use halal meats, which the guy I talked to thought was more flavorful and more expensive. The food was not particularly spicy, but it was flavorful. I tend to prefer south Indian cuisine. They also have a take-out menu(which includes a $ 5 coupon for first-time use) and they do deliver to neighboring towns; they said they would deliver to West Medford for $ 3. Dinner meals cost a few dollars more than lunch, putting it into the $$ range.

We love Indian Express and it is our go-to Friday evening take out place. Food is fresh and very tasty. People are nice and friendly and are very accommodating. Our family favorites are: Goat Curry Chicken Kadhai Egg Paneer(not on the menu but amazing) Mixed Vegetable Curry Cilantro and Green Chili Naan Malai Kofta My kids love this place!!!

Re-opened under new ownership. Now with tables and chairs! The menu is largely the same, and the owner was keen to tell us they kept the same cook. There were some service issues(I ordered one thing, they brought me something else). But the food is pretty good, and pretty inexpensive.

Very yummy food. Very cheap(for Indian, anyway) food. The x-press Specials give you a sizable chunk of whatever you’re ordering, plus naan and rice. I especially like anything with Saag(spinach) or chickpeas. The Beef Jalferizi is also good. I also love the pakora and gulub jamen. Even when you order«mild», there is some heat, so keep that in mind when ordering. And based on lack of space to put a bathroom, they’re not really allowed to have seating. But I keep coming back for takeout. It’s tasty, fast, yummy, and oh-so-convenient.

Great fresh Indian food at really reasonable prices. $ 10 – 12 dollars will get you a really generous portion of food with basmati rice and naan. It’s enough food for two meals. Sides/desserts are also inexpensive & delicious. I was really glad to find this restaurant after moving to Woburn. It’s a take-out restaurant, so don’t expect to be able to seat a group if you go.

Finally some decent Indian food in Woburn Center. Indian Xpress opened up in the former Santoro’s Sun Shop. Mostly takeout, there are a few small tables to dine inside. A cooler offers drinks, water, lassi, and juices. Xpress offers traditional Indian fare with some American and West Indian thrown in. Beef, pork, fish, vegetarian as well as curried goat is on the menu Entrees range at abt. $ 10.95 and up. Special entrée come with rice and nann bread which I found to be somewhat sticky and not crispy. The rice was very flavorful. I would return, however is a bit more than I would like to spend on a weekday lunch. I could spend the same, up on Washington St at the Ambassador Indian Restaurant and get more and more selection for nearly the same price. No delivery is offered but the owner said said that they could for large orders over $ 50.
