Little Sprouts – Woburn

I add two stars only for our infant group experience and teachers there. As soon as they moved him to toddler, we got a lot of issues: he was dirty, they did not change him until we had an accident when he had sand on his bowl movement. The teachers who worked in the morning really did not give proper attention to him. And now he was bitten two times. I am looking for a new day care, I am upset. I do not know if any other day care will be better but I’ll try to check one.

I just started at Lil Sprouts in Woburn. I have a 3 month old. It was so hard to drop her off and they made it so much more relaxing Everyday I get pictures of her (which make the day better). And when my husband picks her up she is happy (and the the other children are too). The facility is very clean. I don’t know what the reviewer is saying they are severely understaffed in the morning– I drop her off at 6 am and there are a bunch of staff there. Great place so far!

We have had a fantastic experiance with the Woburn location. Our son was born 2 months premature and needed a lot of extra care. The teachers there did a fantastic job with him. Even his early intervention specialists are amazed at his progress. The progress reports are fantastic and with the new ipad program, parents get weekly pictures of their baby’s activities. There is no lack of love. I pick up my son at various times, sometimes late and sometimes ealy and I have never seen any kids here neglected. It’s pricey, but well worth the money. Facilities are spotless.

We made an appointment to tour Little Sprouts in Woburn. When we showed up, we were kept waiting for 15 minutes and then told that the person who was going to give us the tour wasn’t in that day. This place called 3 times earlier that week to confirm that we would be there, but couldn’t be bothered to call to cancel, and there’s apparently only one person in the entire place that can take us around. They haven’t yet called to apologize or reschedule. Also the person who greeted us there smelled extremely strongly of cigarette smoke, and left a trail of the smell behind. I certainly don’t want to leave my child at a place run this badly.

My baby has been going to Little Spouts for over a month, and we love it. It’s very difficult to drop off your infant to strangers who seem nice but you don’t know. They have made the process so easy. My son comes home happy and smiley. The facility is clean, the staff is wonderful, and we love the daily reports that we get from them.

My little kid used to go there but I took him off too. The major reason is the place is severely understaffed. Unless you want your baby to be there from 9am to 4pm… Don’t go there.
I was not too unhappy with the infant room where my kid used to get chilled milk but he survived and the place looked clean and understaffed and also in-​experienced staff taking care of kids, again in the morning and afternoon hrs.
But I had to take my kid out once he went to the toddler room as there he was grossly neglected and not taken care of… and worse is… now he understands it.
Every day when i used to drop my baby in the morning at around 7:30am-8am it used to be in a different class with too many kids running around and a lazy angry upset teacher trying to manage them.
In the morning hour and in the evening no one really looks after the kid in the toddler rooms. They are just left alone to do anything they wish to. My child learnt all bad habits from the place. They also do not give any attention to the running kids and hence most days my kid will come home with minor injuries of some kind or the other like bruises, bite marks etc.
In my new daycare none of these happen with my kid. The toddler room teacher constantly complained about how misbehaved my kid was and thus tried to blame all his injuries to his mis-​behaiviour though in my new day care the teachers have no complains what so ever, neither does he come back with any bruises. So my conclusion is the teachers in this place are lazy and do not know their job.
Also, my kid would come home every evening extremely hungry and thirsty… he would be ready to eat anything… though I got a sheet everyday telling me what he has eaten… which if he really had eaten then should not have left him hungry every day. I kept telling them about it and asking if they help the kids with food because here I am talking about 14 – 15 month olds who a lot of times do not know how to properly feed themselves… they kept saying yes… so one day I visited the place as a surprise at lunch and saw that the teachers pay little attention to what the kids do with the food… which in my kids case… none of the food went from his bowl to his mouth instead they mostly fell and there was no one trying to teach him how to eat or help him with the food. I was very concerned after i saw this.
All these problems instantly went away when i changed the day care… which made me write this review to alert people who are thinking about this center. It looks clean and the director is very welcoming, pleasing and smiling but the place overall is not very good for your kid.

my son has been at lil sprouts since he was 6 weeks. he is now 7 months. cole is so comfortable with the teachers. i have done the suprize pop bys’, u know being a new mom,…and cole was happy as can be
took me a long time interviewing daycares before i found this one. they also take the time to send a daily sheet home to let me know how many times he was changed, what and what time he ate, and all his lil naps. cole is very calm and social, loves people, and i know that the teachers care for my lil man just the way i would. we are very lucky to have found lil sprouts. no parent request is too crazy, they are great!

My baby boy was there only for a couple of weeks. When I went to pick him up, I found him crying face-​down on the floor. He was only 8 weeks at the time. The infant class teacher tried to explain to me that he hadn’t been crying too long and she was getting ready to feed him. Since I was already there I wanted to feed him myself. I took the bottle from her but noticed the breast milk bottle was scorching hot. This really upset me. They should know how to heat up a breast milk bottle, they run a daycare after all. This should be a daycare 101. So, the very same night we sent them an email to cancel our contract with them and we didn’t go back.
The facility is pretty new so it looks clean. However, the infant class teacher actually cleaned the floor with a baby bib when I was there. Really? Really?!
