Came in at 12. Sign says closed at 12:30. I asked the bartender for a drink and was told it’d closed…

Really, it’s probably my mistake for ordering nachos at an Irish pub. I really should’ve known better.
Those nachos really weren’t good.
Alcohol was served quickly, at least. The waitress seemed rather disappointed that we weren’t ordering entrees, but after that showing with the nachos, I don’t know if I trust this place much at all.

It all depends on what you’re looking for…
Good burger — yes. Nacho’s — absolutely not. Good draft beer — yes. Fast, efficient service — yes. Nickel and dime for every little thing (i.e. crummy onion rings vs. fries) without notifying you until the bill comes — yes. Fun, live music on Saturday night — yes. Recommended for a good beer and burger — easy in /​easy out. Anything else — go somewhere different!

Waitresses have attitudes, Friday night manager thinks he’s the sheriff, and you’ll be left waiting for your drinks or your tab for half an hour. Time to take my business elsewhere!

I really liked it here and am looking forward to returning. I wish they posted thier entertainment shcedule ahead of time, so folks could plan. I went here with a group on Halloween and it was great. Awesome band, good food and drinks and a chill vibe. We had a blast.

Pretty surprised at the bad reviews here. I met up with a friend for a couple Guinnesses and some dinner and we had a great time. There is a great atmosphere here and it was very clean. Bartender was very friendly — but really busy… took a bit to get refills on water and stuff.
Dinner was great. My friend had the Shephard’s Pie and I had the Guinness Beef Stew… my dish was absolutely smashing and my friend really enjoyed her dinner as well.
We finished up with some late night apple crisp and it really hit the spot.
I loved the décor here which consisted mostly of super cool Guinness pictures and funny drinking quotes painted on the walls.
Food was a little expensive but nothing insanely outrageous. I would absolutely return here again if I was in the area.

Never go here!!! Hostile staff, awful service. Have never felt so disrespected in my life.

This place used to be good, but the food and service quality keeps going down.
Fries taste like fat, salads come out without dressing…
The service the last couple of times has been quite bad also.

I had previously reviewed this place and gave it 4 out of 5 stars. This was when it first opened.
Now I have been here several times and learned it is not the place to go.?busy body wait staff, new bartender who are fast with drinks and forget food orders.
If you looking to get drunk and have members of the staff tell your business to other customers then feel free.
I may be old fashioned but I thought bars were a place to forget problems and not have problems caused by loose lipped bartenders.
I am not bitter this is a consumer beware message.

I was told by some friends that this place was a great pub to grab a drink. I decided to try eating here.
The Menu was two pages. The service was horrible. It took forever to get our drinks and the waitress didn’t ask us what we wanted until another waitress at another table finally took our orders. It took an hour and 10 minutes to get our food when it wasn’t busy at all.
The food was subpar at best and no one wanted to take the leftovers home.
The bar looked good, but I wouldn’t suggest eating food here.

Food just OK. shepherd’s pie. luke warm at best. Salad wilted… very pricey… for a salad ??? Bartender’s occupied chatting with friends and staff… Oblivious to people with empty glasses waiting for a drink… oh well… to many other places around…

We stopped in for lunch after having gone to the Lexington location previously and having a great experience. Let’s be clear – the Woburn location looks good but everything from the atmosphere to the service to the clientele is different from the Lexington location. This was lunchtime on a Saturday and the place was almost completely empty, with the exception of some regulars at the bar. The people at the bar were screaming, swearing, and running in and out of smoking cigarettes. At one point one of these guys screamed so loud that I saw a lady at a table next to us drop her spoon because she jumped so much. Those of us trying to eat had to just put up with it, I guess.
I got the French Onion Soup, which was just okay. I would think that a higher-​end Irish pub would have a better French Onion, like most do. The rest of our food was pretty decent, with the exception of the fact that the server screwed up one of my buddy’s orders and he got the wrong thing. He chose not to say anything, and said that his meal was good nonetheless.
Would I go back here? Yes, but just for drinks on a Friday or Saturday night. If you’re going to eat, the food isn’t very good and apparently the regulars rule the place. Take my advice, and drive an extra 20 minutes to the Lexington location. It’s much better.

The food is okay but the crowd is kind of rough. Bar service is very slow. Waited 30 minutes for a drink and it wasn’t that busy.

Horrible experience. Came here and a friend forgot license, served at bar but not by waitress. !!! Make up your mind. Either you card or don’t. Sorry it ended this way and oh by the way our waitress should have paid as much attention to serving us as she did telling us that the we had to close our Check. She was definitely not taking care of us !

We had great food and drinks!!!
They pour a great Guinness, which is a skill.
We had a fun time listening to the live music and hanging by the bar.
Place is packed on a Thursday night so obviously the negative reviews aren’t hurting business.
If you don’t like fun or Irish pubs then don’t come here.
Burgers are good, siracha wings are amazing, crack balls are sooooooo good!

This place is for you if you like Blackout drunk 20 Somethings, TERRIBLE service from Young waitstaff who couldn’t care LESS… and SUBPAR food at best.

My friends and I came here for the sole purpose of having a couple of drinks at the bar. The bar was completely full on a Sunday night so I took it as a good sign. (The bar is huge.) We ended up getting a table off to the side.
We sorta flip-​flopped between two waitresses. Neither had any personality or even walked by our table for atleast an hour after dropping off our drinks. Finally we ordered our food and another round of drinks. I only got an order of fries and they were alright.
As for the drinks… Um no. You know when you drink two Long Island’s and you are completely sober after? No? I didn’t think it was possible. It’s depressing, and for $ 10 each it’s pretty pathetic. Our bill came to like $ 80. Nope, not coming back to this place. Lame.

Oh where to begin…
I was staying at the Best Western attached to the pub. FYI Best Western was great!
I was seriously starving and thought well go for convenience and usually I can find something decent at a pub…
So I went in through their hotel entrance which is opposite their front door entrance.
I sat down in a booth and watched a server go to a table in another booth a few times. So I thought ok give her the benefit of the doubt and move over a booth closer to the other table so she can’t miss me.
Still no menu no service and I“m sure she saw me. She apparently went to the host at the front entrance finally and notified her. The host came to me apologized and said something about not knowing I was there because she at the front.
Ok this is not rocket science people. If you have two entrances how about you keep an eye out and train your servers to let you know asap.
It wasn’t busy in there I think it was around 4pm. So I get a menu and still no service. Finally I’m asked if I want a drink and I say yes but I want to look at a drink menu. Ok so then she send the server who is spending a lot of time chit chatting with a larger louder table. (maybe that’s the key to good service there)…
He delivers the menu and never ever comes back to take my order.
After 20minutes — yes I timed this, I can feel my blood sugar dropping and my blood pressure rising!
I go up to the bar with the menus and someone who completely ignores me is cleaning glasses… finally another bar server looks at me and comes over.
I explain to her all of the above and she sends the staff over to take my orders. To her credit she personally comes over with my beer and says it’s on her…
To the other servers credit when the food arrives he says it’s on him.
The bangers and mash was good. The beet salad that I was taking out — not so much.
I wonder if they have a huge turn over of staff here. Would be good to implement some communications training.
The next night I met my friends and we went across the street to a fabulous little pub. I wish I could remember the name.
I would only go back to this pub if they fix these service issues.
Communication 101!

Ordered a five alarm burger med rare
Cooked perfect but no flavor at all not even ½ alarm salt and pepper would have made it a good burger. Will not be back

This place is LOUD. I’ve been there a couple of times and couldn’t hear my friends talk, not even the ones seating right next to me. Ugh… so annoying.
The food is also incredibly greasy. Parking here has been easy for me, but my friends have always had trouble finding spots. I think it’s because they share parking with a hotel or motel behind the pub.
Their website says they have pool tables, but when I called to check if they had a waiting time they said they actually don’t have pool tables.
I like Waxy’s in Lexington better.
