Be forewarned! Dandelion flourist has changed ownership and name to fire florist. They are moving to back bay. I’ll never go again. I requested a big bouquet for my mothers birthday. I arrived to pick it up, It was in a tiny bowl, all the stems had been cut and was a mismatch of flowers. Looking in the flower storage refrigerators, they were empty. This was obviously a thrown together bouquet with what was anailable. $ 70 for a 6″ wide, 3″ tall bouquet. Scandalous.

Laurel was our florist for our wedding! She is very talented and passionate about what she does! She is great to work with and made everything very easy for me! We met to discuss ideas and what flowers I would like to use and she did the rest. When the flowers were delivered they were even more beautiful than I ever imagined! I couldn’t have been happier with her work– she’s amazing!

I can’t thank Laurel at Dandelion Florists enough for the AMAZING job she did on our wedding flowers in September 2014! Everything came out just as discussed. She made my bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, corsage, boutineers and did all of our center pieces(which i am still receiving complements on). The flowers looked fresh and beautiful. She was wonderful to work with and suggested some fantastic ideas when I asked for help. Laurel worked with the budget that we had and made some money saving suggestions!

Laurel did the flowers for our wedding in September and everything was absolutely stunning. We met with her briefly before the wedding, explained what we had in mind but gave her free reign to do what she thought was best, and everything turned about beautifully! She worked within our fairly meager budget to produce beautiful centerpieces, bouquets and boutineers that matched our style and our wedding. Everything was fresh and added color to our fairly unadorned tables and chairs. Laurel was a pleasure to do business and I only wish that I lived in the area – I would order flowers from her all the time! I highly recommend Laurel and Dandelion Flowers.

I grew up in Wolfeboro and have always valued a local florist over the big mail order thingys. My grandmothers birthday is in a few days, but I will see her next weekend for Easter, so I wanted to get her something to let her know that I was remembering her birthday, but not totally crazy expensive because I was giving her her present next weekend. I automatically went to Dandelion and talked to Laurel. She knew exactly what I was looking for and was extremely respectful that I was looking to stay under a certain price point, as I was seeing my grandmother next weekend with her actual gift. My grandmother is in her 90s, and I wanted to be sure that whatever she got would last and wouldn’t take too much maintenence, and what care it would take would be minor and easy for her to do. Laurel told me what she could do to make it as easy as possible and look amazing. I’m totally thrilled with Laurel and Dandelion, and cannot wait to hear my grandmother on Monday when she gets the flowers. I recommend Laurel across the board for her beautiful designs shown on her website and her easy and understanding attitude. I will definetly be calling her in May to deliver flowers to my grandmother and mother for Mothers Day.

I’m so glad I get to give 5 stars on my first review! Get ready for a wordy one… First off, sending a sympathy bouquet is never fun. In this case, I decided to call directly instead of doing the impersonal online thing. It was a gut feeling to do so and I’m so glad I did. I Googled local florists to Center Ossippee, NH and this one had two great reviews on Google so I called them first. Second, I don’t know my flowers from my toenails but Laurel at Dandelion Florists was above and beyond helpful. Not only was she appropriately sympathetic but she was respectful of my budget and didn’t try to persuade me to go up to the next level of floral grandeur. More flowers doesn’t necessarily equal more thoughtfulness. I told her the bouquet I picked out online(which was a teleflora design) and she said she could do that but would have to substitute a few things. She told me she uses some beautiful cut flowers from a place nearby that she goes to and cuts herself. Locally grown and hand cut. Nice. And then she explained how she would spruce it up a bit by adding such and such and so and so. Wonderful. The bouquet was sounding perfect and I thought my friend and her family would really enjoy it. When we got down to the final cost and payment, she said she wouldn’t charge me a delivery fee since she was already going to the funeral home for other orders for the same wake. Now that was really sweet. She also offered condolences and said she gets really sad when she has to make sympathy bouquets. As they live in such a small town, chances are she knows who passed away or at least a friend or family member of the deceased. Even more of a personal touch. This was exactly the experience I was hoping for. A real human being to help me through this baffling-to-me process of floral arrangements. Granted, I don’t know what the finished product will look like tomorrow but she made me feel like she would do her description justice and then some. I still don’t know my flowers from a doorknob but I don’t need to this time around. I have Laurel.
