Ice cream = yummy. Creamy, good selection of flavors, nice staff but HUGE portions. I recommend ordering a regular size with extra cup and share with a friend. I will definitely be back!!!

The people living next door to our rental house recomended this as the best ice cream in the area and we were not disappointed. Long line(sign of a good ice cream place!) that moved fast. Servings were large and ice cream was tasty. Cash only but an ATM right next door.

Recommended by several«townies» as the best place for ice cream in Wolfeboro and we were NOT disappointed. Tho the lines were long(a good sign of their reputation) they got through the crowd quickly and the amount of ice cream you get for the price is amazing(caveat — bad for the waist line)! Lot’s of ice cream for 4, which cost us ~$ 14…and we were stuffed(we all got single scoops). Very tasty… highly recommend them.

Bailey’s Bubble is the best ice cream in the world! It is by far my favorite ice cream. It is a simple place but has true New Hampshire charm. You can sit outside on plastic picnic tables people watching and enjoying the ice cream. On the corner of the street there is a man who sells hot dogs to add to the charm. Bailey’s ice cream is extremely reasonable for the amount of you get. The small is the size of a normal places medium. If you are in the state of New Hampshire and are in need of ice cream this is the place to go!!!

There are a billion ice cream places in wolfeboro but this one seems to be the best. Creative flavors(I recommend peanut butter Oreo), big sizes. Brave the lines and do it.

Bailey’s Bubble is a favorite of mine! If you are in Wolfeboro you can’t miss this ice cream experience. It doesn’t look like much from the street but who cares when the ice cream is that good! There are so many wonderful flavors to pick from that I often find myself salivating in excitement as I read through the flavor list. My personal favorite is the Moose Tracks ice cream, but you can’t go wrong with whatever you decide to order! This is a real gem and on my list of favorite ice cream shops in the country.

Top notch. Instead of a lame wedding cake, our genius friends decided to do an ice cream bar hosted by Bailey’s Bubble at their wedding reception instead, and MAN was it delicious. The ice cream itself is flavorful and creamy, but it’s all about their homemade penuche sauce… best thing I ate all night, hands down. Don’t miss it!

A true New England GEM !!! This little curbside hut packs em’ in ! Staff is always polite and energetic. Great old-time feel. The ice cream is rich, and delicious ! Classic way to spend an evening downtown I suggest you take a short walk down to the docks and enjoy the lake scene while having a cone :)

This place has been a mainstay of downtown for many years. I can remember coming here as a teenager and the place has not changed! Always busy, but the lines move fast. Their product is all homemade, and there is no other place around I would rather get a small, swirl soft serve, with rainbow jimmies, in a cup! Grab your ice cream and follow the tourists around.

Minus the long lines at dusk in the summer, this little piece of heaven is absolutely amazing. Ice cream is both cheap and delicious, and there are many different flavors to choose from. It’s an obligatory stop whenever I’m in town!

Having not been in the area for a long time, we drove many miles out of our way just to come here. Now I wish we hadn’t bothered. They no longer carry the varieties of ice cream that we preferred and the flavors we ended up choosing were certainly nothing special. A couple of us even tried the sundaes to see if they were worth the hype, but they, too, weren’t anything better than what we’ve had at other ice cream shops. Okay, so it’s been 3 years. Varieties change and maybe the source or recipes for their ice cream did, too. Service is still friendly, but that alone can’t entice us to make that drive again. Bailey’s, you really let us down. :-(

Can I get 2 different flavors in a medium? You can get 2 flavors in a small or even a kiddie size. What?! That is crazy awesome. Pumpkin and German Chocolate Cake small cone please! Granted it was only .25 cents difference between a medium and a small — the small was very generous and at $ 3.00 that’s much better than some of the prices I see in Boston/Cambridge. Great flavors, both hard and soft ice cream, frozen yogurt(I believe), a friendly staff and reasonable prices make this ice cream place 5 stars. Located in a cute town amidst numerous other ice cream shops I chose this little stand for its 5 star reviews and boy was I pointed in the right direction!

Got pumpkin and moose tracks – both were awesome. The«small» size will probably be more than enough for most people.

Bailey’s Bubble is a small classic New England ice cream window that does a big business. Ice cream and related dairy delights is all they serve, so find your meal elsewhere but save space for dessert! Located on Railroad Avenue, just fifty feet or so from Main Street in downtown Wolfeboro, New Hampshire(one of my favorite towns any time of year), Bailey’s is window service only(two windows) and efficiently staffed by friendly high school /college age folks. Late afternoons and evenings you’ll always see lines at the windows, but they move very quickly so don’t be dismayed. Bailey’s Bubble has been around since the 1970’s, but long before that they owned a wonderful family restaurant further south on Route 28 near Huggins Hospital(now called Morrissey’s) and Bailey’s Dockside restaurant right on the Wolfeboro waterfront where the Mount Washington docks(now under different ownership as well). I can’t recommend eating at those places now, but do give them a look if you’re close by as the interiors haven’t changed much since the 1950’s, and in this case that’s a good thing. All that’s left of the wonderful Bailey’s franchise is this ice cream window, but thanks to the Skelley family we still have that. Although they no longer serve the original Bailey’s ice cream formulas, Bailey’s Bubble does carry a nice line of «home made» ice cream manufactured by Richardson’s Dairy Bar(of Middleton, Mass.). Having grown up with Bailey’s ice cream I do miss the original stuff, especially their chocolate chip(which I hope to rediscover when I get to Heaven). However, if you’re under forty you won’t know what you’re missing, nor will it matter. The ice cream they serve today is delightfully rich and creamy, with strong fresh flavors. And it’s a bargain. A small dish or cone at $ 3.00 is one very large scoop. Almost too much for me. And a large… well, it’s huge and can be split with your best friend, spouse, or the girl or guy behind you. Frappes in these parts are mostly ice cream, so dive in and fill up on one.(Ask for a «black and white» — they’ll make it the right way.) Also, not sure what the hot fudge is on their sundaes, but it ain’t Hershey’s and that’s a good thing. Oddly enough Bailey’s doesn’t necessarily have the best ice cream in Wolfeboro! No more than twenty paces down the street is Crepes Ooh La La, which, besides serving astounding crepes, also serves delicious ice cream from the Sandwich Creamery in Center Sandwich, NH(not far from Wolfeboro). And also, over near the public docks on the lakeside is another ice cream window serving Annabelle’s ice cream. You will be spoiled for choice in this town, which is guaranteed to become a favorite summer stopover and memory for you and yours.

Bailey’s Bubble has the best homemade ice cream in the area! Each time I pass through Wolfeboro during the summertime, I have to stop at Bailey’s for my ice cream fix. There are usually long lines here, but it’s worth the wait. They have soft serve, hard ice cream, frozen yogurts, and sorbets including fat free soft yogurt. They offer cones, cups, sundaes, flurries, ice cream drinks, slushes, and flavorburst options. Their homemade sauces(fudge, butterscotch, penuche, peanut butter) are really good. They also have homemade chocolate chip cookies for sundaes or as a chocolate chip cookie sandwich. I’m a fan of their hard ice cream and my favorite flavors are the German Chocolate Cake, Snickers, and Coffee Kahlua Brownie. The ice cream has a creamy texture with great flavors. The prices are pretty reasonable for what you get. The small dish has a lot of ice cream, plenty of ice cream to satisfy my fix.

Ice cream in Wolfeboro is everywhere you turn. No one– and I mean, no one does it as well as Bailey’s Bubble. They have the best soft serve anywhere and their hot fudge recipe is unbelievable! Also, you wont get more ice cream for your dollar any other place. It’ll be the only place in town with a line and it’s worth the wait! Don’t forget they’re open later than anything else in town, so head there to satisfy your late night ice cream needs. If the lines are into the street, don’t worry; somehow they can fit about two dozen teenage girls in that booth to take orders. Just kidding, but there are usually several employees inside, moving like clockwork, so the wait times are often minimal.
