My husband has re-named this Crepes Blah Blah Blah. We were the only people ordering and it still took way to long — come on they are crepes, they shouldn’t take that long! He had the chicken crêpe and didn’t like it. waste of money and time.

I have to preface this by saying I have never in my life written a negative review. I usually keep things to myself however I am so upset that i feel i kust share mu experience. Every summer I walk into this place with a hopeful heart and every year the owner is extremely rude to me, my family and other customers but today took the cake. Long story short I had asked if the green tea smoothie contained dairy and everyone told me no. I told them I had an allergy because it is easier than explaining that my infant that I am breast feeding has a severe milk protein sensitivity and so I cannot have milk products. The owner finally got involved after I took a sip and asked if I could read the label. I discovered from the label that it did in fact contain dairy. The owner looked up at me and said, «well do you have an allergy or is it just a sensitivity?». I was confused. What was she getting at? Did she think I was lying? I told her what would happen to my daughter if I drank it and told her the pediatrician has recommended that I don’t and that seemed to shut her up but I am just shocked at how she handled the whole situation. She walked away and didn’t say another word and never even offered me a refund. They even made me pay for the water I decided to get instead. I don’t know why this woman is so angry all the time or how she is still in business but she lost me, me family and anyone else I talk to as a customer. I will never go back!

These people are just mean. they clutter the sidewalk with signs and tables and my handicapped son can’t get through with his wheel chair. I asked them if they could move stuf so e could order and they said no. Really mean and inconsiderate people

On a little trip to Lake Winnipesaukee two weeks ago, we happened upon Crepes Ooh La La. What really drew us in was the sign that read, «$ 1 Beers.» Oh and their crepes, of course, of course… These light and lovely crepes are freshly prepared in front of you. One savory style which we particularly enjoyed was filled with smoked ham, turkey, bacon, and Swiss cheese, and then drizzled with maple syrup. Worked very well, hitting the spot on that salty-sweet level. Plus, we got to act like we were wisely choosing something New Englandy just by ordering the one with the maple syrup. I don’t know how often this creperie offers dollar bottles of beer(Heineken, Corona, Pabst) but I would return for their crepes even if the beer disappeared. And that is what you’d can consider a fine compliment, coming from me.

Food was good, service was a bit slow, with only two staff behind the counter, it was understandable but a bit annoying that our crêpe order was prepped AFTER numerous walk in ice cream customers were served.

Recommend by an aquaintance, we tried this little storefront eatery. I had the lobster stuffed crêpe topped with a Newberg sauce. Unbelievable! So delicious. Best tasting lobster in the lakes region. Service was fast and pleasant. My wife had the gluten free crêpe with the bananas foster filling. Also delicious. And the price… best food for your money hands down. Stop by and treat yourself to a truly enjoyable snack/meal.

So delicious! Forget lobster rolls! The lobster crêpe with newburg sauce was better than any lobster roll i had in nh! That was my husbands lunch. I had the banana foster crêpe that had me acting like a cat afterwards. licking my imaginary whiskers. The bananas were perfectly warmed in my gluten free crêpe(thank u for that option!!!). The rum sauce was smokey, sweet and buttery — a perfect compliment to the crêpe and the bananas. If i could have licked the plate i would have! Thanks to the owner who came by and asked how everything was. She was sweet and gave me the recommendation on the crêpe! So glad i asked!

We visited here three times in the past week. Over the past two years, I’ve had 4 different crepes, and they’ve all been wonderful. This year, it seems like you receive more filling in the crêpe, which makes it seem less expensive. The lobster crêpe is a great deal($ 10). You probably receive the equivalent of the meat of a 1 lb lobster on the crêpe. It is exceptionally yummy. The apple crêpe tastes like fall, as it is made with apples, raisins, and caramel. The strawberry crêpe is a little on the sweet side, but it is made with fresh strawberries. Definitely worth a visit!

While on vacation, we stumbled past the usual breakfast joint and landed somewhere that exceeded our expectations. My wife and I were in the mood for a nice quiet breakfast and didn’t want to wait in the long lines in town for another mediocre breakfast and Ooh la la took us right in and made us feel at home. Crepes Ooh la la served up fresh homemade crepes that were exceptionally good and moderately priced. The vegetables were farm fresh and the texture of the eggs and crepes were perfect. Needless to say the dish was delicious. My only hesitation on giving this restaurant a full 5 star review is the coffee bar. Customers enjoying a high-class breakfast deserve a great coffee, the presentation and setup could have been better. But we ordered our coffee and tea and our breakfast crepes were prepared for us on the spot. Two egg and cheese crepes, one egg cheese with all the veggies and a decadent banana crème dessert crêpe of which my daughter loved. Each were moderately priced from $ 6.00 to $ 8.50 and well below what you’d expect to pay in a bistro in the city. The owner even came out and made us feel at home and made us feel special giving our daughter a sticker and ensuring our breakfast was top-notch. Our recommendation is if you are in Wolfoboro/Lake Winnepasakee area and want to skip the long lines to the everyday diner food, swing in for great service, great food and enjoy the feel of a hometown breakfast that’s moderately priced with a touch of class. Ooh la la offers a lovely dish of something truly off the beaten path and if you visit in the afternoon, they serve ice cream for those looking to beat the summer heat. We promise you won’t be disappointed and highly recommend it!

The crepes are good, not exceptional, but good. Prices are high, which is to be expected in Wolfeboro. But honestly crepes are cheap and easy to make. If you search around, they usually have a coupon in their brochure at the tourist map kiosks around the area(or their website.) Seating here is at a premium. Tiny tables crammed into a tiny tiny space. People end up waiting like vultures to grab a table while another member of their party waits in line to order. My real complaint is the staff. Crepes should take no time at all to make, but here it seems even when it’s slow, a thirty minute wait or longer is expected. Seriously, look on YouTube; fourty five seconds to cook a crêpe, two minutes to dress it. And it isn’t for lack of staff– there were so many kids working behind the counter this past summer, they literally were waiting for each other to finish. However, they also seemed bored and were unattentive to customers and dirty tables. My wife noticed that between crepes, they would wipe down the grill with a towel. The towels were thrown around everywhere, in their aprons, on the counters– it looked worse than it sounds. On one visit, there were two people ahead of us. We all ordered, but after fourty minutes it was discovered they had forgotten about my wife’s order. The owner was there, and she did not perform any service recovery. No apologies, she simply got defensive and short. I guess I just keep going back because I like crepes. An interesting aside: They have one of the more interesting bathrooms I’ve had the priviledge to use. The door has a huge privacy glass window, which means that as you go into the bathroom, you can see through it, but when you lock the door, the glass turns white. However, the uneasiness remains. My first thought was, what if they lose power? Anyways, I did a little research and discovered that if the power were to go out, the glass would stay white, so no worries!

To be fair, I’m not sure I’ve ever had a crêpe I didn’t love, especially if it involved Nutella. Crepes Ooh La La offers a nice selection — especially for dessert crepes — but their entrée crepes do not seem to be as subtle or creative as some other creperies, like the Skinny Pancake in Vermont or my favorite, Simply Crepes in Canandaigua, NY. I am, however, intrigued by their«create a crêpe» option and plan to go back and do just that. We will also go back to try one of their entrees.(My husband has had a few and says they are quite good. And he can be picky.) The owner/operator was just lovely and as friendly as she could be, and the service was prompt. There are a few tables, and the whole atmosphere is very cozy and pleasant. Perfect for a nice lunch. We had some of their ice-cream, which comes from a local creamery. It was just the beginning of the ice-cream season, and the first few licks of my rum raisin tasted like it – just a hint of freezer burn. But once I got through that layer, it was not bad. The texture was right on, and it wasn’t too sweet, but I was hankering for more flavor. But what it lacked in flavor, they made up for in volume — the serving was generous. (For some reason, I seem to remember being told that the ice-cream was made from raw-milk, but I could not find supporting evidence in the Web sites of either Crepes Ooh La La or the Sandwich Creamery. My husband and his family are big on the raw-milk, so I thought I’d throw that in.) So if you are walking around this lovely village and looking for a very reasonably priced lunch($ 5 – 8!), stop on in and meet the owner. She’ll make you feel right at home.
