I stayed at Wolfeboro Campground in June with my sister and my dog, and we had a wonderful time. The bathrooms are kept spotless(seriously, they don’t even smell like a bathroom), the campgrounds have privacy, the owner is really cool with dogs staying there as long as they’re leashed and well-behaved, and everyone who was there was very respectful of other people. The owner sells a healthy wagon full of wood for three bucks, which is wonderfully convenient. The four stars instead of five stars is only because the price is a little steeper than some other campgrounds with larger tent sites I’ve stayed at in the Lakes Region, but this is without a doubt my first choice for the Wolfeboro area.

Went with my girlfriend over the weekend. Really enjoyed the surroundings. Tons of trees, good sized camp sites(we’re tent campers). I appreciated the recycling cans throughout the site. The guy running it was available if we ever needed anything. If I were to say anything as a downside, it would be the traffic noise from Rt. 28. It’s all but gone in the late evenings but it’s there during the day for sure. I’m being a little on the picky side with that«downside» because it wasn’t super loud. We’d definitely go back or suggest it to friends.
