Wolfeboro Wine Cellar

I make sure to stop by just about every time I visit Wolfeboro. There are occasional wine tastings throughout the summer months (perhaps year-​round?) that seem to draw a good size crowd for the small size of the place.
The owner is very helpful and knows his wines. He has made some great suggestions for me and I haven’t been disappointed with his recommendation yet. I have even been able to get my wine bottles gift wrapped at no charge.
Decent wine selection, EXCELLENT service, small cheese selection, some chilled wine and gifts as well.

We are so gracious that an experienced and knowledgeable wine store has finally reached our town! Just up the hill on North Main you can find this gem full of flavors and delights.
I have been to my share of wine stores and I am very happy to say that this maybe one of the few that has the flavors and tastes of their costumers in mind. With such a knowledgeable and helpful staff, I never feel as though I am trying to pretend I know what I am talking about with wine. They are so helpful and understanding.
I have been a couple times and as I describe my requirement to the owner he always knows where to steer me. The first few times I was hesitant to try what he handed me, but after a few picks from him, I realized he know what he is talking about and I rarely discard his suggestions.
On most days you can get a nice taste of something new as you browse about the store learning and searching. You will always find something new.
Although the store does not have the size of the state liquor stores, it doesn’t have the fluff that you can find in one. Every selection is there for a reason and every bottle will find a home because they really know what people are looking for any time of the season and any day of the week.
