Audeli’s Pizzeria

Sad to see this place closed… or maybe I was dreaming?

Fidel is the best.
Audeli’s is the best deal in town for sure and there’s nothing that quite hits the spot for me quite like two slices of Pepperoni and a Sierra Mist/​Pink Lemonade cocktail. I’m proud to call myself a regular at Audeli’s. Fidel’s good people and Audeli’s good fast food!
If I have people in from out of town, they’re coming to Audeli’s and they’re going to like it! Or else.

The latest installment of «Try Every Pizza Place Within Five Miles» led us to Audeli’s. We had a coupon, and more importantly, they are open on Mondays (our first choice was not).
It’s pretty much your standard-​issue carryout pizza place, with various appetizers, sandwiches and pasta dishes also on the menu. They have the same «Italian Pizza» boxes every place seems to have around here.
And the pizza seems pretty standard too. It’s good, don’t get me wrong — reminds me a lot of White Cottage, which is just a few blocks away. A slightly thicker «thin» crust, a nice if unremarkable sauce, and a good amount of slightly greasy cheese. We got pepperoni this time, and I liked that the crust and cheese were a bit more «done» with some brown caramelizing on top and crunchy pepperoni bits.
It didn’t blow my socks off, but they have good prices and a huge variety of toppings, so I would definitely try Audeli’s again.

Busy place for a Sunday night. We got our pizza and pasta to go lest we miss the latest installment of Dexter. Very friendly service.
I don’t know what was in that pineapple and canadian bacon pizza, but the cat tried to crawl up inside the pizza box and eat it, repeatedly. The cat NEVER wants people food. I’m thinking Audeli’s gets 5 stars from him. I was going to rate Audeli’s 3 stars but thanks to his input (and pawprints in the cheese) I am upping it to 4 stars.
