I cannot say enough about the pizza here. I have had multiple different variations, but it doesn’t matter. The crust is perfectly crispy and chewy, just the right thickness. The toppings, the cheese, the sauce are all perfectly balanced. The one criticism I have is that service can be slow. I’m not a service complainer either, as I was a waiter/bartender myself. But, when I’m sitting at the bar with empty glasses, for 15 minutes, and the bartenders are standing around chatting, that’s complain-worthy. This has happened multiple times. But, I love the pizza, so, whatareyougoingtodo?

Not a fan. Typical chain restaurant quality. The pizzas are greasy and the crust is sub-par.

Overall awesome, it’s just a bit pricey so be prepared to send spend $ 30 for a pizza and two sodas

Always poor service. One time I was with a party of about 10 people. Took an hour to order my food. Then my wife and I never even got our food lol. Mixed drinks are a rip off, most just juice and bad flavoring. Beer sucks compared to every other brewery. Food is just alright. Nothing special. But hey, place looks cool.

Amber is the best bartender and servicer. Just so friendly. We came for a work lunch and sat in the bar with co workers. She was fantastic and made great suggestions. We returns because of her customer service!

We’re regulars at this place. Always fast to get a table no matter what night of the week. Pizza is consistently good and so is the service, our family favorites are the Founders Pie & Crazy train.

The Pizza… it’s expensive, and it has very little in the way of toppings. Everything is over priced. I think this place spent too much on the décor and ambiance. if you can call it that. Service… typical Portland service. Disinterested, depressed, waitresses, do the bare minimum to get a tip. We always joke about this place when people from out of town ask us about it. We tell them the story of of the 800 dollar pizza with thin crust and 10-total toppings. A bit of a exaggeration. but not too far off. We paid 24 dollars for a large Hawaiian style with that literally had 5 pieces of cheap sliced ham and maybe 3 or 4 pineapple chunks. It was sad. I ate at the one in Vancouver for lunch once(boss paid) and had a burger and it was okay, but no better than anyone else could do. They need to change the name of this place to The Rock Expensive Microbrews, Mediocre Food and 80s butt rock.

Zero Stars, because you made me decide to leave. Looks like a great place, smells like a great place… service is the worst in town! Was my first time at this joint while visiting family. I was first through the door and asked if I could place an order to go. I immediately knew what I wanted and was ready. I was not directed to another area(would have ordered at the bar, if told to do so). I was brushed aside after being handed a menu so the host(women do it better) could seat a couple, then another couple, then a family of 6, then a family of 4, then a couple then 5 plus a baby, then a couple… After 15 minutes of prioritizing everyone else who walked through the door over me… I had to walk away mad(and family at home hungry). Thanks jerks! ZEROSTARS!!!

This place is overpriced and gross. The drinks barely have alcohol in them and the food is served cold, greasy and disgusting. Everything is crazy expensive too. Save your money and go elsewhere where they don’t cut corners to avoid cost as this place so obviously does.

Amazing service, had an amazing personal 6 inch pizza at lunch time, along with a lava lamp, and a bucket. The pizza was rich and flavorful, and you get to keep the beach bucket and the lava lamp when you are finished! My friend got some sort of chocolate chip cookie sundae that was warm, gooey, and delicious!

Wow… this place has really gone down the tubes. We’ve eaten here at least once a month since we moved here a couple years ago and tonight’s food and service both gave us reasons to maybe skip coming next time(noting last time was really bad service too). Our waitress kept disappearing, which normally isn’t that big of deal but, when your drinks are empty through your whole meal, that kinda makes it a big deal. Then my husband and I thought we’d try the new ‘It’s My Life’ dish with a peppercorn brandy cream sauce and what they described and what showed up were two completely different things! I think they just added pepper and a few peppercorns to a flour gravy. Couldn’t taste the cream or the brandy, and the(supposed to be) steamed broccoli was literally raw. Disappointed. Taking our money elsewhere next time.

This is the second time we have been to this store and found it to be filthy! The server brought 4 plates 1 had old food dried onto it on top, one had even more dried food on the bottom, the table was disgusting, and the flip menu on the table was covered in just about everything, food, sauces, beer, simply nasty. the service was good, the food was mediocre at best. If don’t mind eating on a filthy table, with dirty dishes, and silverware…

I had the lunch buffet. There were about 6 different kinds of pizza, all pretty good. So-so spaghetti, forgettable lasagna, good IPA(their own) but the other star of the show besides the pizza was the salad. Green or Caesar. Being a lunch buffet I was expecting one of those dinky salad plates with a few bites of salad on it. The waitress brought out a huge as if it were going to be your main entrée very good Caesar salad. Good dressing, croutons, the whole shebang. Total price? 10 bucks! About the price you would have paid anywhere else for just the salad. Cool rock & roll theme too.

My friend wanted to come here for her 21st birthday! We first got seated and we had a guy as the bartender. We sat down for a very long time and he didn’t even check our IDs. Once he checked our IDs he left for maybe 15 minutes without asking us what we wanted to drink. The only reason why I’m giving this place 5 stars is because we had an AWESOME bartender after the guy left where ever he went. Her name is Chelsie. She literally made her birthday night and she kept an eye on my friend, so she wouldn’t get sick, and over drink and also always offered her more water. thank you so much Chelsie!!! You seriously were the best!

Great pizza! Loved the crust. Lava lamp drink was HUGE and only $ 11; I’ve got tiny martinis at other places for about the same price so it was a great deal! They also had a Unilocal check in special so we got free cheesy bread. And the skillet cookie is BOMB!

A rock and roll themed restaurant that plays classic rock(Stones, Beatles, Styx, Foreigner, Boston, etc) and serves burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. I had the Crazy Train pizza. It was a bit spicy, which I like. My companions had chicken & white sauce pizzas that were also good. The microbrew sampler was nice, the service was good… overall a good experience.

Grease is the word, is the word that you heard. The 16″ Bad to the Bone($ 22.99) is good if you like white sauce & ranch dressing. I prefer red sauce but everyone wanted to try this pie so I agreed to it. The mozzarella & romano cheeses were laid on thick & it was gooey. The cheese was still stretching from the end of the booth, where the waiter was serving it, to the other end of the booth where I was sitting. Not a bad thing. Lots of cheese is better than next to nothing cheese. The pie has pepperoni, ham, onion, & peppered bacon so yeah, a little grease is expected but not so much to where it’s running down onto the plate. I’ve had those«everything» type of pizzas elsewhere & didn’t have grease gloss after each bite. The ranch was too much. I like ranch on my salads but drizzled on top of my pizza is unnecessary. The beer battered onion rings($ 7.49) weren’t awesome. They were deep fried too long so every bite was a crunchy, greasy mess. We ate at Rock Wood on a Sunday which according to our server was all day HH during football season yet we were still charged the regular price instead of $ 5.49. If HH prices applies only in the bar then why tell us about HH if we’re seated in the dining area? We didn’t make a fuss with it but I don’t think these onion rings should cost as much as they did for the quality we were given. The server was fast. Fast like she couldn’t be at our table longer than five seconds before moving on fast. She served our food, filled our beverages, & was friendly. That’s all that mattered so her being really fast is not a complaint. The restaurant filled up quick which made me think that Wood Village really could use better restaurants if Rock Wood is the place to go for dinner. The 16″ pie was cut into eight slices. Not a lot of slices if you have more than four in your group. Your bill will add up quickly & in the end you’ll feel crappy for what you did to your waistline. Skip the grease & go somewhere other than Rock Wood. You’ll thank me later.
