I dropped by here for a quick bite. I ordered the Betty Boop omelette and a chocolate muffin. The omelette was amazing, I know it’s an omelette but the vegetables and blend of a mild cheese just was very satisfyingon the pallet! The chocolate muffin was lightly grilled and was an awesome home made sweet treat! I absolutely recommend this place for a good meal and it’s a diner so the portions are generous and the tab is never bank breaking, enjoy in good health!

I eat here once a week, is the best dinner in the area. Great food and friendly atmosphere. The staff is new from this time last year but they are growing on me

Old school diner … Friendly service … Food surprisingly good — kids literally cleared their breakfast plates!

A friend and I were getting together for lunch and she recommended we meet up at this diner. I looked at the reviews and was pleased to see how positive they were. Also liked the idea of a 50s motif. First off, yes, there is a 50s motif, but very minimal, so that was disappointment #1. Waitress was nice, but not overly friendly and did not greet us with a big smile, disappointment #2. The reviews seemed to emphasize these two points, almost seems like they were planted reviews. Now, for disappointment #3 and it’s the most important one. I ordered a cheddar cheese, bacon and tomato omelet(home fries included.) You know when you cut into an omelet it should be smooth with the cheese oozing out? I don’t know how to explain it except to say it was extremely overcooked and dry and sort of looked like a bunch of chunks of eggs stuck together. Home fries were so overcooked they were burnt and stuck together like another chunk of food on my plate. I chose not to send it back as I didn’t want to be bothered. Plus, it was so bad, I didn’t trust that the cook had the skills to make it any better. To say this was a total disappointment is an understatement. If I could give no stars I would. Will not be going back there. For a great diner breakfast in Upper Township go further south on Route 50 to Dino’s. Excellent every time.

World’s best diner. Same couple waitresses so I always see a friendly face when I walk in. Food is great. may i recommend the cinnamin bun french toast for breakfast or keilbasa w/pepper and onion sandwich for lunch. Delicious! And the best part is that the prices are great. The diner is an actual silver trailer and all decorated with 1950’s themed things. Very few tables though(I think 6 small booths where 4 small people could fit per booth) and a bar to eat at. Pretty decent menu with alot of options!

This place was great. It is an old 50’s style diner. It looks a little beat up on the outside and the inside but it has charm. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. We will be going back.

This is a very cool little diner. A trip back in time and I love places like that. The food is good diner food and the prices are fair. The booths are very tight but thats not a big deal. Check it out its worth a visit.

This place was a great stop on the way home from the shore. Like the other reviewers have stated, this place is really a trip back in time. The servers in poodle skits and Elvis’s pictures on the walls. I had such amazing biscuits and sausage gravy here which I get almost every time I see it on the menu and it was very good here. The sauce seemed to be browned a bit and there were huge chunks of sausage in it that I loved. My mom got a BLT club which had amazingly fresh tomatoes on it and just enough lettuce and bread that it didn’t over power the bacon. The homefries I had with my meal were more like sliced potato than traditional home fries but good. I would have liked a little more crispiness to them. My mom’s waffle fries were perfectly done. Not to mushy and not over seasoned. Actually everything was seasoned very well. One thing I worry about diner food is the saltiness of it but that is not a problem here. I would say that the place really does show it’s age. You can tell that they have tried to keep it nice but if you look closely, you can see it falling a part a little. Definitely a place to stop back though!

This past Saturday, Hubby and I were headed to the beach, and also starving. We wanted to stop somewhere on the way and also try something new, so naturally I went straight to my Unilocal app. Tuckahoe Family Diner was on the way, prices looked reasonable, and there were some good reviews. When you walk in this place it’s kind of like a time warp. Records hanging from the ceilings, servers in poodle skirts and 3-egg omelettes with snappy names like Telly Savalas and Betty Boop. Speaking of which, I ordered the Telly Savalas omelette per the server’s recommendation. It had onions, mushrooms, fresh tomatoes and feta. It was so delicious. One thing that really stood out for me, aside from the giganticness(yup) of it, was the amount of feta in the omelette. Usually, when you get something that has feta, it’s lightly sprinkled in, which really annoys me. This had no shortage of the cheese at all. Also, the home fries were delicious– nice and crispy but not burnt, buttery but not greasy, and well seasoned but not oversalted. Hubby also enjoyed his make-you-own omelette very much. We both agreed these were some of the best omelettes we’ve ever had. If you’re in the Tuckahoe area or even just passing through, this charming place has great food and a pleasant atmosphere. They also take credit cards.

Every time I drive to Cape May and pass the Tuckahoe sign I giggle, despite my age. One Sunday I found myself very close to the town so I was super excited to finally stop there. What an adorable little train car 50’s diner! It’s pretty small, with a counter and stools and about eight booths, but we were able to sit immediately for a Sunday lunch. Milkshakes were yummy, but I always love when you get the silver cup of extra, and you don’t get that at this diner. I had a cold cheese sandwich, my husband a grilled cheese, we both got fries – his waffle, mine straight. I think they also have curly. Three kinds of fries, my kind of diner. Food came out fast and tasted great. Waitstaff was super nice and friendly. There was also an old dude wearing overalls sitting at the counter, which made my experience that much beter.

A great place for breakfast and lunch!(Probably dinner, too, in season.) This 50s motif diner is a cool old train car, and on any given day it’s filled with local flavor. But it’s a great pitstop on the way to the shore. The burgers are delicious, the steak sandwiches terrific, the breakfasts filling. And the sodas are huge and bottomless! Breakfast and lunch specials! Don’t drive on by – stop!

What nostalgia! What charm! You might not guess it from the outside, but slide open the diner door and you’ll find yourself transported to the 1950s, poodle skirts and all. We got breakfast for lunch. The omelette was huge, light as air, and full of fresh vegetables. It was so good I kept eating even after I was full. The waitresses were friendly and sweet as pie. This is a magical hidden gem. Definitely worth a visit!
