Absolutely amazing and honest professionals! I purchased my wife’s engagement ring, our weddings bands and recently upgraded my wife’s diamond from them. They took the time to help educate me on diamonds and also talked about their experience in the industry. Not only was I comfortable making a large purchase with them but now I am a loyal customer and have referred multiple friends to them!

STAY AWAY. STAY AWAY. John, the owner is very rude. As I was walking to the counter, he was screaming over the phone. He likes to correct customers. It takes 10 calls to the store to get a call back. When you tell him you want to purchase, or put a down payment, he looks at you with the look, of confusion (you sure you can afford it) confusion. John, who was wearing jeans while trying to sell expensive jewelry is clearly NOT NOT college educated! I heard him making statements about people of color, which should not be made out loud. Once John, saw that someone had heard him saying degrading remarks about people of color, he wanted validation. This is so unprofessional. I was not interested in validating any racist remarks. John, then became silent. He made comments about black people and Hispanic customers as they walked away. Note. John is talking about people behind their back who are just probably nice people shopping on their day off. Wow ! This is not a professional store The store is not clean. There are papers all over the counter and John’s beverages. _​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​_​Jewelry has sweat on it, and this store is probably not cleaning jewelry on an everyday basis. This is an unprofessional small business where this person would rather take a personal call on his phone, and wear jeans to work, than fully service the customer. He talks too much. I told him not to explain the 4C’s because my friends and I already know this. He kept talking, yapping to make himself seem more of a pro, after I told him twice, I know about the 4C’s. Grade D. The racism, the rude behavior, not returning calls the same day, the continued talking and thinking he could service the customer while on his cell phone with someone else, the wearing jeans. An owner who wears jeans, was a clue. This should sum it up.

They made purchasing both engagement rings and matching wedding bands a breeze. Super selection and great quality and very fair pricing. Can’t say enough how glad to go with them. Avoid the malls and marks ups of traditional jewelry stores and you’ll be glad you went here.

I purchased my wife’s engagement ring here and had an excellent experience, especially compared to experiences at other shops that tried to push rings on me. John worked with me for a month to find the right diamond that was what I wanted and fit my budget. My wife loved it! We have since purchased our wedding rings and many other gifts here and loved every single one. We have had several pieces custom made which has been excellent and the price still VERY good. Before getting engaged, my husband I did a lot of research about rings and visited many jewelery stores. We already had a beautiful diamond (my husband ‘s grandmother’s stone) and were looking for a setting. We had a really intense «say yes to the jeweler» moment after meeting with John at Romancing the Stones. He has a humongous selection of rings and other jewelery. I showed him rings I liked from Blue Nile and James Allen. John showed us very similar rings and was able to give us a much better price than what we saw online and at other stores. He was also able to customize the setting exactly how I wanted it. I wanted 4 more side stones, a six prong setting, and platinum. John was able to craft a ring exactly to my specifications. I wore the ring for a year and decided that I wanted to have the setting lowered and I wanted the cathedral to be cut and brought into the center. John gave us an amazing price for this alteration. During the alteration process, some dirt got under a few of the diamonds. I didn’t really notice this right away, but when I did, John was able to clean it free of charge! My husband and I bought our wedding bands from Romancing the Stones. John was again able to customize my wedding band to my liking. I’m very happy with how my two rings look together on my finger. They sit flush and complement each other really nicely. My husband is thrilled with his titanium ring. We are now lifelong Romancing the Stones customers and will definitely see John and his staff for all of our jewelry needs. John is honest and fair. He gives us his professional opinion, while still respecting what we want. We never feel like he is trying to push more expensive jewelry on us. Came to the jewelry exchange looking for a special gift for my wife and stopped at Romancing the Stones. There I met John and Mary who showed me exactly what I wanted. They were a pleasure to deal with and I was treated with respect. No high pressures sales. I ended up purchasing a special gift for my wife that is beautiful. I plan to bring my son here for the engagement ring he is looking for.

My now husband purchased my engagement ring from Mary and John. It is the most beautiful ring I could have asked for. We returned to Romancing the Stone for our wedding bands, and I now have an anniversary band from them as well. Every time we go back, we are treated like family. I wouldn’t trust any other jeweler!

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Romancing the Stones and everyone who works there. I was researching and shopping for engagement rings for 3 to 4 months when I visited Romancing the Stones and instantly I knew I could trust them. They spent countless hours with me and I even went back at least four times to discuss & try on different ring as I was extremely indecisive. They were always honest and educated me about diamonds and did not try to upsell me at all. I finally decided on a ring and couldn’t be happier. Another thing I really loved was that they encourage their customers to go get the ring appraised from an outside jeweler and if you are dissatisfied at all they will take the ring back. My family will definitely make Romancing the Stones our family jeweler.

John was very helpful and straightforward. No pressure and was a great help in picking out an engagement ring. Came back to resize it with no problems and no charge. He makes you feel comfortable and has quality items.

My fiancé went here to get my engagement ring and said the customer service was amazing. He knew nothing about rings and they explained everything to him. Went to see John today to help find a ring that I have been wanting for quite some time. He showed two options that looked identical from afar but one was 900 more because of carat weight. He was honest with us and didn’t try to up sell us on the more expensive ring. They have a really nice selection and the biggest show case in the jewelry exchange. He is informative on the quality of carat which is important to know what your buying. All G and VS stones. Can’t wait for the next holiday to get something else

I bought my wife’s engagement ring from John at the referral of a friend 9 years ago and we have been repeat customers since then, getting our wedding rings and various gifts for each other and others over the years. They do beautiful work and have even repaired some jewelry and watches for us free of charge. Great attention to their customers will keep you coming back for more!
