I am highly disappointed that I booked an appointment with Dr. Alembik. If you are looking for an OBGYN, I recommend you do your research. I guarantee what you find will make you change your mind. A quick google search will show you malpractice claims and current lawsuits. First off, I have been to the ER twice this month due to severe pelvic pain. I have been having the pain on my left side since July 9th. The pain is constant and never stops. Prior to seeing Dr. Alembik, I was advised by my GP and two ER doctors that I should get a laparoscopy as soon as possible. I came here to get a referral. This is what this man told me: «It’s period pain, here is birth control. Come back in October if the pain persists.» My pain got worse today. I am not on my period. I am not about to have my period. The pain has never stopped. Secondly, he seemed to be in a hurry. He didn’t ask me about my symptoms. He did a quick exam and didn’t see anything so he dismissed my pain to be period-related. No. I know my body. I know when there is something horribly wrong. I have several abnormal symptoms that I don’t have with my period. Listed below are the symptoms I am having. Keep in mind three other doctors told me it was probably Endometriosis. — Constant achey pelvic pain on the left side. The pain feels like someone is twisting something on the left side of my pelvis. — Frequent sharp pains on the left side. It gets so intense at times I can’t walk. — Back pain on the left side of my body. — Nausea — Frequent urination — Shortness of breath — Severe bloating Now you tell me. Does this sound like period pain? Three doctors I have seen this month didn’t either.

Although I cannot imagine any woman likes to go to the OB/GYN, I have to say that I have been going to Dr. Alembik for over 10 years now and he is the best doctor that I have ever had in my life. He is throughtful, patient, remembers every detail about you, caring, sweet, and just a warm and genuine person! I think everyone should go to him!

ok — it’s the OB/GYn — hopefully you only have to go once a year, right? But finding a good one is WAY important. I’ve been going to Marc for 10 years. Normally I see him in the Stafford office(it’s closer to home). He’s done a couple of surgeries on me — and always has a gentle manner, listens when I tell him about issues I’m having, and is VERY sympathetic. I can’t imagine going to anyone else.

Went to first appointment this year and he was very nice. The staff was courteous and Dr. Alembik took his time and was thorough. Very nice bedside manner and I recommend him. Will return next year.
