This store should be called a «big dump. I really hate to say that, but it is the truth. As far as product assortment, organization and aesthetics, this location lags far behind any other Big Lots that I have ever seen. I really feel the company should close it and find a location that will provide a better inventory and shopping experience

As already noted by several Unilocal reviewers, this store doesn’t have a sales floor aesthetic. I have never seen such a mess in all my years of shopping at bargain stores and thrift shops. It is a negative example to anyone planning on becoming a manager of a retail establishment. Before entering any Big Lots, it pays to know what the dollar store, box store, and grocery store price is for any item. For example, Dollar Tree sells Gossner Milk for a dollar a quart. The last time I did a price check for the exact same item, this Big Lots was selling Gossner’s product line at $ 1.27 a quart. This reviewer has a few issues with the merchandise. The look of the pantry staples(spices, canned goods, boxed cereal, etc.) can be deceiving. Check for the expiration date on each grocery item before heading to the check-out. Clothing, personal hygiene, hardware and automotive items look shoddy. In other words, don’t spend hard-earned money buying underwear, socks, toothpaste, aspirin, screw drivers, painting supplies, jumper cables, and socket wrenches at this Big Lots. So, what should a customer buy at Big Lots? This reviewer will recommend buying seasonal items, greeting cards, DVD’s, CD’s, cleaning supplies, office supplies, non-edible pet supplies, and paper products.

This location has a wide selection of snacks and cleaning supplies. Other than that their selection of other products is very limited and lacking of decent quality. The store is in disarray when I come here. It is not the cleanest location and it looks like they have a big issue with loss prevention. The prices are unbeatable though so if you are looking for cleaning supplies or cheap snacks then this is location to go.

Every time I give this place a chance, disappointment soon follows. I’ll start with the exterior: it looks like run down old thrift store with random furniture outside. Inside, it’s not much different. It’s looks dark and dingy. Nothing is ever in its place and the sales associates are certifiable weirdos. The last time I was here, a cashier carried on a conversation with me about his life goals. Further, the lay out of this store is devastatingly designed. I know where things are because I’ve been foolish enough to come here several times and search, but if I were a new customer, I wouldn’t be able to find anything. And none of the sales assistants would be the wiser, because no one is ever available on the floor. Big Lots is like an illegitimate child of the discount stores. This particular store sells used items/broken items(it’s a discount store, why wouldn’t they), so check your packaging to make sure no pieces are missing or broken.

This location should call it «Big Mess». They have amazing deals if you can find them in the clutter!

This particular store is cluttered. They have some name brand items, which is really good. This store I could take or leave.

I frequent this Big Lots just to see what new items they have. If you can get past the cracks and potholes in the parking lot and dingy store floors, you can actually find some decent deals here. My favorite purchases have been a Starbucks insulated cup for $ 7, Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers(sold on QVC), a 12-pack of Mason jars and a $ 5 car charger for my phone. Big Lots is hit or miss. You can’t go in looking for something specific but it’s a great place to drop in once a week. They lose a star because the handheld baskets desperately need to be replaced.
