Having used Critter Control once before(for the same problem!) we called them when we found out we had a birds nest in our middle floor bathroom vent. The first CC technician to come out had a tough time accessing the remediation area due to the tight space of the duct. He lost his brushes and a couple other techs came out(two different occasions) to try to 1) get the nest out and 2) recover their equipment. Being in the service industry, I was pretty annoyed thinking that CC sent out an inexperienced tech, but all projects have their problems so I just exercised my patience. EVERYPERSON I talked to at Critter Control(and it was A LOT of different people) was so apologetic and nice that I couldn’t get super frustrated. After a few weeks, Tim Smolarick got ahold of us. He came out and assessed the situation. He was straight up about what needed to be done. He came back out, cut a hole in the drywall of the bathroom ceiling and got the huge, nasty nest out. He recovered their tools, replaced the duct, and decontaminated everything. They patched the ceiling and left. Next day, someone else came back out to finish the patch. Job finished. Customer Service A+++

Company came out on what was initially thought to be a mice problem, turned out to be bats. Work was proposed and technician said it should take about a week. Work took almost one month to be fully completed. Owner places the blame on the technician though his front office knew this work was outstanding and not done(both because of a call I made and the fact they never received a report from the technician it was done). Work was done adequately though was expensive. Given that and the unacceptable amount of time it took I certainly would not consider them again.
