Celebrated Father’s Day here and I gotta say I left very satisfied. Everything was good the lobster dip the chicken wings and my steak! The waiter was ok not great but I will say it was a busy day so it would make sense why I didn’t see her as much. The restaurant it self is nice! The menu has many options to choose from, so everyone should be happy and be able to see somethings they like. I will visit again!

The prime rib had A LOT of inedible fat/gristle. But they did get me another cut. It was good, but not outstanding for the price. Plus it was loud.

My boyfriend and I are on a mission to try all the restaurants in Stonebridge and Firebirds was one of the last of two places on our last. Man oh man, it was delicious! I ordered the Firebirds chicken Pasta and he ordered the French Dip with sweet potato fries and the chili Mac and cheese, we shared the lobster spinach queso as an appetizer and I must say — it was the perfect beginning to our meal! My pasta was slightly spicy(which I looooove) and if I’m honest, looked like a small portion but it was definitely enough for dinner AND a second dinner at midnight lol! The chili Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries were delicious, the French dip was good, though it left a little to be desired, honestly! Portions were large and filling, we didn’t have to wait to be seated even though there was a good number of patrons outside and inside, they were busy! Overall, a very good experience and I would recommend to friends for a special night out!

It really is a steak house. Burgers were good and I really liked the fried onion on top. Sangria tasted like koolaid. Don’t get. The Ambience is nice and there are lots of other restaurants in the area. The Saturday I went they provided a movie in the courtyard area outside.

Best restaurant for pizza and appetizers in Potomac Mills area. Amazing arancini! Great pizza! A little loud to our liking, but we love the food so much, we go back… again and again.

This was definitely not a good experience from the very beginning. When I made my reservations they had sent me a confirmation with my last name wrong. Okay, no big deal, I texted my wife and we laughed about it. We got there and there was plenty of seating but they gave us a pager and said they’d page us when our seat was available… alright, we were 5 minutes early(reservations for 7pm we were there at 6:55ish). We went to the bar to wait and ordered a couple drinks. My wife ordered a Stella on tap which was flat, no head, and tasted like it was from the bottom of the keg. The bartender even apologized after giving it to us… WTF?! I asked for a Moscow Mule. The bartender asked if I’d like it traditionally instead of the crazy fruits and infused Moscow Mules they had. What I received was a watered down, maybe an ounce of Vodka, and at least 2 ounces of sweet and sour(NOTTRADITIONALATALL!) «Moscow Mule». Absolutely Awful. Our pager went off and after the hostess asked if we’d like a booth or table(we said booth of course) she gave us a dirty look and rolled her eyes. This was the same booth that was open and clean when we arrived about 10 minutes earlier… The Waitress was nice and pleasant but we paid $ 15 for TWO tiny crab cakes(very overpriced, burnt, and should have specified that you were only getting two where as like most places/appetizers are served). I ordered the BBQCHICKEN burger and it later came out as a BBQ beef burger. It still tasted pretty good, but was not what I ordered. The steak fries on the side tasted great, but were soo skimped. My wife received about 7 steak fries(no joke) and I received a few more. They are just a little bit bigger then normal fries, but our plate was about 1⁄3 empty… Needless to say this restaurant was completely overrated and we will only come back if we want overpriced food at a sub par restaurant(physic). I would have complained to the manager but I didn’t want to embarrass my wife or cause a scene, unfortunately this was a date night that I will have to pay for twice.(seriously, not only money wise but also for just having a good time).

This is hands down my new favorite restaurant! Our meals were amazing(burger and pasta). My mixed drinks: on point(cucumber gimlet, yum!). And they even have Magic Hat 9 on the menu!!! Who cares if it’s only in the bottle, this is the first restaurant down here that I have seen serving it. Finally somewhere that gets me!

Oh Firebirds! How does one even begin to write a review about the experience I had at your establishment?! I know the answer, very carefully and cautious to not mix the sub par company with the pretty pleasant environment you provide. I arrived at Firebirds on a Tuesday night around 7pm to meet a blind date. Unlike my date, who turned his back on me when I walked in to continue laughing to a friend on his cell phone, your host staff greeted me warmly. The wait for a table was short– which I give you stars for, as in a normal situation this would be great!– however, in hindsight, the less time I spent with this man, the better it would have been for me. We were seated at the table and the cell phone was put away as Molly, our server, arrived. Molly was super adorable(we both thought so, but just hang in there for that part!) and really pleasant. She was warm and genuine and quick with getting drinks– which was work in itself considering how much my awful date chose to drink.(7, if you want to know. 7 double vodka and cranberries, and I’m not that awful looking!) At the pace he drank them, they must’ve been the best vodka cran on the East coast. I had two moscow mules. They were very limey and while they should have had more ginger beer, the vodka was plentiful– though not plentiful enough to black the entire night from my memory. I had chicken pasta which was spicy and interesting, unlike his conversation. While he told me about how every woman wants him, how picky he is when it comes to dating, how smart he is, how tall he is(my eyes were apparently broken), etc, I focused on each and every bite of my tender chicken, firm pasta and creamy sauce. Molly was polite when he touched her hair(not joking. He held the end of her braid and said«I really like this, what is it?» in regards to her regular old, red, hair elastic) and engaged her in conversation about her personal life.(She had just turned 21, wanted to go to Vegas, and they agreed people in Woodbridge are mean). While Molly was off tending to her other tables, he regaled me with tales of beastiality and compared it to homosexuality.(If the poor food runner whose mere presence started this train of not-thought overheard any of these idiotic ramblings, PLEASE accept my apologies and understand this jerkoff is the minority). I excused myself to the bathroom to catch my breath and formulate an escape plan. The bathrooms were clean, with those great doors that go all the way to the floor and nice low light. Here, I would ask that you please get windows in your bathroom so those of us on horrifically bad dates can make a crazy cartoon style escape! As I returned to the table, my date and the server were exchanging phone numbers(run, Molly, run!). Molly brought the check, which he had requested be split 50÷50−− which isn’t worth arguing, since I would have paid for the drinks of everyone in the restaurant to escape at this point. As he asked me to a second dinner, I tried not to vomit in my own mouth(which might have actually tasted ok since I doubt my delicious dinner had digested yet!) Firebirds, your food, atmosphere and service are a big 4. I only wish I could’ve enjoyed them all with matching company. For improvements, maybe designate a specific drink as a code indicator for«help me away from this painfully boring, drunk, sexist, egotistical, maniac»? Just a suggestion. ;)

This place is great, my best friend and I really enjoyed ourselves. Daniel, our waiter was very attentive and made us feel right at home. I made reservations for 8pm and we arrived 30min early and was able to be seated right away which I loved. My best friend had a coke to drink while I had the Alexa Lemonade, such a tasty beverage to support a great cause. We started with the Smoked Wings and Lobster and Spinach Queso Dip which were both PHENOMENAL. I mean they were done just right and the lobster was plentiful in the dip. My best friend ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup, which he loved. For entrees, I got the Cilantro Grilled Chicken Breast and my best friend got the Smoke House Chicken Sandwich. Everything with the ENTREES was great, the BLT salad I added to my meal was okay but all the other food made up for it. The brownie we had for desert was really good and it was the cherry on top of our dining experience. We def plan to return and I am so glad we tried this place out.

What the heck has happened to this place? In less than a year it’s gone completely downhill. But, I’m comparing it to the amazing, awesome, perfect atmosphere and food in the Spotsylvania location. It’s no comparison. I just ate here yesterday with a friend who was in town and our coconut shrimp appetizer was just balls of fried coconut with very little shrimp. I always order the sesame encrusted salmon and it’s usually such a big portion of salmon that I have to take it home. However, this time the salmon was the size of the palm of my hand and the waitress said that it was definitely 7 ounces and salmon comes in all different shapes. Huh? Salmon is a staple in my diet and when I make it at home, my 6 ounce portion is twice the size of what I got. Also, the fried spinach was extremely extremely extremely salty and of the big pile they gave me, less than a quarter of it was actually crispy. Oh, back to the salmon, I could count on one hand the number of sesame seeds I got. It was not encrusted. What got me was that the table across from me also ordered the salmon dish and I heard them making the exact same complaint I had. Once the manager left their table I flagged her down and told her that my complaint about the food was exactly the same as the couple across from me. We both ended up getting gift cards… Mine will be used at the Spotsylvania location. It’s definitely worth the drive and it is 100% better than this location.

The first year they were open this place had amazing food and service but recently the entire experience was absolutely horrible minus one thing, the lobster dip. Now the chips that came with it were so salty they overpowered the dip and left a horrible taste in the mouth. When we arrived we requested a table for 6(verbally requesting 5 adults and 1 child) the hostess and manager both looked at my toddler and then asked if there were any children in the party… nope we just request 5 adults and 1 child because we’re bored. The manager seated us at a booth made for 4 people and when we requested to be moved we were told they might not have any place for us, despite the building being over half empty. Only after we pointed out three places that would accommodate us we were finally moved. Unfortunately this seemed to throw off the staff to the point that we had to tell our waitress we actually did want to order more than drinks and an appetizer. Our waitress was very nice but she seemed a bit overwhelmed by 6 people. The manager also could use a lesson or two on how to look presentable and how to address customers, in person and on the phone. The entrees were not good and like the chips had way too much salt and took forever to get to us. This is definitely not the Firebirds I once enjoyed.

I went to Firebirds on 3÷13÷16 for lunch with a friend. It was a very chaotic experience for me to get to Firebirds. I hit a lot of traffic and arrived at the restaurant until 3:30(an hour later than I planned). Our waitress was wonderful. She was quick when I arrived to place my order(my friend had already had her lunch). She checked in us a couple of times but wasn’t pushy at all.(I felt kinda bad that we basically occupied our table for 3 hours which frankly is a little excessive for lunch.) I had the portabella sandwich, salad and sautéed spinach. Although not was outstanding it was good(my favorite being the sautéed spinach). I am freely giving Firebirds a high rating for its friendliness and outstanding service. In a nutshell, I wouldn’t hesitate having a meal at Firebirds with a friend again.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner for the first time and we will definitely be coming back! We decided to sit at the bar and glad we did! The bartenders were phenomenal!!! The woman was super nice and knew the menu very well! She was good at recommending drinks as well as food! I had the flirtini, which was delicious and my boyfriend had the bourbon and peaches which he said was really good. For dinner I had the Colorado salad which was on point and came with a generous portion of grilled chicken. My boyfriend had the chili rubbed steak with a baked potato. He said it was good but cooked a little too much. He ordered medium rare but it was more of a medium. Not a big deal. We will definitely be coming back to this place and highly recommend it to anyone for dinner. The only downside is that they can be a little pricey.

This was my first visit, and I must say that I was impressed. To put it in context, we went on a Sunday afternoon, so my experience may be drastically different from someone who went on a Saturday night. We started out with the lobster spinach queso, split a Caesar salad, and some fresh bread. The Caesar salad was delish, and was served with an ice cold fork. This is how salad should be served, and the fact that they did this told me they care about the little things. The bread was served warm with butter, and was fresh. The queso was okay. My wife liked it more than me, but we both agreed we wished it was thicker. It was fairly runny, which caused some unwanted drips. Speaking of my wife, she ordered the Firebirds Chicken Pasta. This dish was underwhelming. The flavor was okay, you definitely could pick up the spice. The sauce served with the pasta was also a little loose. I much prefer the sauce to STICK to the pasta. I would not recommend this dish. I ordered the Aged Ribeye, and asked for medium. It came out cooked to order. This was a nice steak, but for $ 23 I expect something a little better. It reminded me more of a $ 16 steak you’d get at Friday’s. I ordered the baked potato loaded as a side. It was REALLY good, no shortage of salt. We also had two orders of kids Mac and cheese. This was very bland. Our kids only ate a little. I will doctor it up when I serve it for dinner. So, the food was just okay. That is not why I give them 4 stars. I give them 4 stars for the next 2 paragraphs. The service was very professional. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and sweet. This was a theme we encountered with everyone we interacted with. The food came out very fast, so fast in fact, that we were still eating the previous dish every time they brought something new. The building itself was wide open, and the décor and lighting, was very soothing. The bathrooms were also big and clean. At chain restaurants, you pretty much know going in that the food will be par, but I didn’t anticipate being treated so professionally by the staff.

Firebirds has a great menu that is hampered by cooks who really don’t seem to care to execute it well… When this place first opened, the food was always top-notch, but the past few times we have gone, the food has been sub-par. As an example: I used to LOVE the French Dip… but the past few times, the sandwich has been thrown together sloppily… The fries have been only luke-warm with no salt… And the apple coleslaw has been very dry and barely tasted of apples. I blame this on the management and the cooks… They are just not paying attention to the food quality. This is especially bad when you have a place rith across the street(Not Your Average Joe’s) which seems to always be on top of their game.

Food is pretty good here. It’s tough forking out $ 20 for just a salad though; even if it’s the beats out a Mikes salad. I ordered the strawberry and shrimp one and added a portobello on top. The dressing is homemade and spot on! Service was pretty good too. I will def come back when down in Woodbridge.

Visited with my family for a late evening meal. Great ambiance that definitely set the bar high. I was underwhelmed. Service was OKAY and I suppose everyone was just trying to leave. The food was so underwhelming that I don’t even remember what I ordered. I don’t think anyone at the table liked their food. I do believe in giving people a second chance, so after I visit again, I will update.

Regular prices are steep for what you get, but I would recommend their happy hour specials which they offer from 4−7pm on the weekdays. They have drink specials and appetizer plates that are discounted by a couple of dollars – which is different depending on the item. Otherwise, I personally wouldn’t come here for dinner since entrée items are around $ 20 – 40, aside from their burgers, and I didn’t really feel like I got what I paid for(and their presentation is sloppy for the price range as well). My prime rib was decent and pretty tender and the au jus and horseradish sauce gave it the flavor boost the steak itself lacked. My friend’s filet kabobs were a sad sight though– they were tiny and not cooked evenly. Steaks come with your choice of baked potato or fries, I would recommend getting the baked potato because the fries aren’t very crispy. Otherwise you have to pay an extra $ 5 – 6 for their other sides, which again I don’t feel are really worth it. Service here is quite average even though you potentially can be forking out a lot for a dinner date here. I feel like the experience is just somewhat better than what you would get at a place like Outback. Nothing to gripe about, but I feel like the service could be more upscale. Food: 2.5 Value: 2.5 Service: 3

Had the turkey sandwich that comes on CORNBREAD. Yeah. It actually more bread than corn bread than I’d thought it would be, but pretty dang good. Also — TATERTOTS as a side! Yet, it is all in a classy restaurant. The service was phenomenal. Only downside? It’s in Woodbridge and tucked away in a sort of hidden location(not far from Potomac Mills and IKEA though), and the menu is pretty limited.
