I’ve used them for plumbing and appliance repair. And they were extremely professional. if I had just a simple question they would try to answer it. They wouldn’t just send sombody out to me and they would need to take a look. They try to answer but sometimes it’s easier just to send sombody. Have used them on multiple occasions. Will continue to use them.

I don’t usually take the time to write Unilocal reviews but they were so bad that I have to warn others. We put in a service request through our home warranty company to get our dishwasher fixed. When making the service request, I had to provide details around the type of dishwasher and what the problem was. When the repairman finally came(took a while due to scheduling problems on our end plus a cancellation on their end) he was very rude to my mother-in-law, pretty much telling her that we just didn’t know how to work the dishwasher. He said that they had to order some parts and it would take 8 – 10 days for them to arrive. With that, he took our $ 75 check for the service fee and left. At that point, I was slightly annoyed by his behaviour and the fact that he took a check without actually doing anything, but it wasn’t serious enough to complain about. I assumed we just wouldn’t have to pay the service fee when he came back to fix the dishwasher. Yesterday, I got a call from another repair company to schedule an appointment. Appearantly, Frantz doesn’t work on our brand of dishwasher and referred us back to the home warranty company! Two issues with this(1) You already knew what type of dishwasher I had before you even stepped foot in my house.(2) If you don’t service this brand of dishwasher, why didn’t you say so when you were looking at it? Why would you say you’re ordering parts if you’re not? The final straw was when my wife called today to figure out what’s going on and their representative hung up on my wife! Avoid this company at all costs! If your warranty company refers you to them, immediately ask for a different repair company!

We were referred to Frantz Plumbing through our Home Warranty company. While the specific work wasn’t going to be covered by the company we decided it best to work with one of their preferred plumbers. I am so happy that we did. He came out and did a great job, clearing a clog in our system. He aslo took the time to explain what he was doing to my husband so we knew what was going on. We would definitely call them again! Customer Service TOPNOTCH!!!

Very rude serviceman(might be owner?) and highly unprofessional company. First it took forever to schedule an appt as each time I called to make an appt the lady kept canceling and rescheduling(this happened three times) Then despite paying fee for initial call fee, Franz refused to fix the couple of minor plumbing issues(needed some rubber washers to stop leak) and insisted that they don’t have parts in the van and that they would charge additional service fee for return call. When i argued that I already paid(for nothing) and that if they came back with the right parts to install I should not be charged another fee, the guy started yelling at me loudly and snatched the invoice out of my hands in an aggressive manner. I was afraid for the safety of my family and asked him to leave. My wife was terrified and had her cell phone in her hand — she was about to call 911! I was tempted to file a complaint with the police but decided against it. BEWARE

I was referred to Frantz Plumbing through my home warranty when I filed a claim for a leaking mixing valve on my hot water system. The woman on the phone was nice, and I was able to get an appointment for the next day with a 30 min call ahead. Louis showed up and was very nice and informative of both the valve and the other plumbing questions I asked regarding a noisy pipe. After working with the valve he found that it needed to be replaced. He called in and found a match, and I was able to snag an appointment the next day for replacement. Once again, he called ahead, and was able to work around the flooring installers and was able to switch valves. He turned the water on and off, and also took time to tell me how to adjust it, as I had asked about it the previous day. It’s been about 3 weeks and the valve hasn’t leaked, so I’m pretty happy with the work. I can’t base this rating on price as I had a fixed service fee.

A Frantz plumber(later identified as John Frantz) responded to a home warranty call that my shower was leakin ginto the wall. He spent less than 60 seconds examing the area, and declared the tiles were loose. Then tried to sell me a complete tile job on my shower. It made no sense. The wet spot was at the other end, OUTSIDE the shower. Water follows gravity. I got a second opinion, which made much more sense. The shower door was improperly installed, and leaking where it attahced to the wall. When I called to speak to Mr. Frantz, a very rude woman refused to let me speak with him. Or maybe he didn’t want to speak with me. He already had my 60 bucks. Stay away from Frantz!
