Frederick G Stern, DDS

Since my first review, I’ve noticed a change in the staff demeanor. I must give kudos to his team for not having patients wait forever to be seen. Once you get to your appointment (on time), there is usually a chair reserved for you. You’re usually seen right away.
Dr. Stern is by far one of the best in his field.

Decent– nothing more and nothing less. Dr. Stern himself is a very sweet, funny, and knowledgeable old man. His staff though. less to be desired. The woman on the phones used to be nice– that changed. His staff at the chairs are friendly but are more interested in chit-​chatting with the other staffers next to them.
Appointments rarely on time (mostly because the office is packed and they DO accept emergencies++).
Not exactly up to par on the latest techniques I have read about in journals and seen advertised. And the «digital high tech office» is the only thing modern in the technology field and the sign in touch screen computer is frequently OOS anyway.
The «bleaching» services in the packages consists of sending you home with a tiny tiny syringe of seemingly over-​the-​counter bleach to use in your retainer.
Just so many quirks it sounds frustrating. but if you plan on going. Just deal with the receptionist, wait the 30 minutes AFTER your scheduled appointment time, and get your simple work done.
