We come here a lot. I never had this type of serve before. Asking for no salt in my food gets me an attitude. My doctor asked me to cut back on sodium. If u don’t want to just tell me u can just don’t have an attitude and tell me don’t eat here. It would have been nice if he just say sorry we can’t do that. Food is descent but too much msg in the food.

Beware everyone. When you Oder«seafood noodle“As shown the picture, I didn’t notice there was spicy one(above) and both „C1“ so I simply ordered „seafood noodle“ that I meant not spicy one. The guy at the cashier didn’t even ask me which one I want when I was placing order. I ended up got spicy noodle instead of regular one. I asked the guy who took my order I meant not spicy then he said“You didn’t even ask me you want regular one» so I told him if I don’t ask you it will be automatically you get spicy one? Speechless. I was little offended that he blamed on me because I didn’t mention«not spicy one»? He was like«your fault» WOW! People amazed me sometime. This is the reason I will NEVEREVER come back this place.

Love this place! Everything is so good here, I especially love the spicy pork and the garlic wings. I’m going back home to California tomorrow and for my final meal I’m getting Global Garden!

I’ve been going to this restaurant, located in the Global Mart food court, since I was little. Over the years, I’ve noticed that they have been cutting back quite a bit, meaning they’d give less meat, rice, or kimchi. However, the food is still pretty decent and convenient for the non-Korean folk who don’t cook Korean food at home. Their kimchi chigae(kimchi stew) is perfect for a winter day. Spicy and piping hot. That’s my usual go-to. Another item I highly recommend is the kkanpunggi shrimp/chicken(usually I pick the shrimp because the pieces are big). It’s basically fried shrimp in sweet and spicy sauce. Very good and a great combination with white rice. Sometimes this place gets very busy, usually around lunch where all the store workers come and eat. Many times there isn’t seating available.

We were craving some soup so we looked around and found this place. The lady in the front desk is super nice and helpful. She answered all the questions we had. I have been there twice within 3 weeks you MUST try the spicy seafood soup and the spicy pork bulgogi; they are amazing. The prices are fair you can get either for about $ 8 and leave super stuffed and with leftovers for the next meal

Good food for such a location. This is located right inside the Global supermarket. We normally order the stone rice with either chicken or beef or we order the spicy seafood noodle. The portions are generous for the price and you def won’t leave feeling hungry. Only downfall is the seating arrangement. Sometimes it’s hard to find a table.

Yummy Yummy. Kam Sam Ni Da!!! So clean and spotless. Very attentive workers here. Galbi was outstanding. My child finished it in 5 minutes lol. The soups come out nice and hot. Hidden gem in a ghetto area inside Global Food Market. If you want clean, no frills, authentic Korean food that is fairly cheap, this is the place to go.

Good food right before you go grocery shopping. They cook every thing fresh, I.e. nothing sitting except the pickled side dishes. Garlic chicken(kupungi) is very tasty. Kalbi(short ribs) is also a great dish. Their hot tea(green tea) is very good too.

For a resturant inside a supermarket, they serve pretty good food. The food is cheap and made rather quick. It isn’t of best quality, but it is good. The only bad thing that it is hard to get a place to sit.

The food was good, but a little overpriced for the location.

I’ve been in Global supermarket many times and I always wanted to give this place a try but thought its sketchy, well I tried it today and it’s not bad. Prices are OK, not that cheap but not super expensive. We ordered the beef bulgogi(K1), Spicy seafood noodles, Wings, and beef flat rice noodle. The bulgogi came out sizzling on its own grill plate which made it look so appealing. It came with a bowl of rice and a couple of slices of yellow Korean radish. I had better bulgogi, this place was OK. The beef had a lot of I guess veins? I didn’t mind it but I prefer my meat to be cut clear of any chewy veins. The seafood soup was expensive, it literally tasted like the Korean spicy ramen that they sell in the ramen aisle. There were 2 pieces of shrimp, octopus tentacles and that’s all the«seafood» I saw. The wings were OK. The sauce was tangy but there were so much of it that the bottom half of the chicken wings were soaked whereas the top of the chicken had a crispy texture to it. When u are done eating, take your tray to the metal shelf at the end of the register. The lady up front could/should try to smile once in a while, other than that, its A OK.

Had a great lunch here. The Spicy Beef Soup was the perfect meal on a cold December day. My mates had the Seafood Noodle Soup and Beef Bulgogi… all of it was fresh and hot and really flavorful. Definitely recommended. Don’t be put off by the«right in the middle of the grocery store» atmosphere!

Awesome Asian/Korean Supermarket. My Korean born american wife is ecstatic at the huge inventory of authentic Korean items. We lived over 20 years in Seoul and it’s like we never left Korea. The restaurants are truly the real tastes we enjoyed and remember back in Seoul. Five Stars, first class all around. Check it out.

This place was pretty good but not great. I ordered the beef bulgogi and asked for it to be spicy. The lady told me that wasn’t possible and if I wanted it spicy I would have to get the pork bulgogi. I’m no chef but couldn’t they just put the spicy sauce they use for the pork and put it on the beef? Kimchi was good and they gave me a little bowl of soup with mystery meat in it which was interesting but not bad. If the service was better it would be a solid four stars.

Global Garden is the Korean restaurant /carry-out that is located inside the Global Market grocery store. The business shares a food court with Yi Uh Do Sushi, a coffee /tea place and a latino restaurant. I agree with Michella that the service from the lady behind in the counter leaves much to be desired, but that’s typical for Korean service. I have come to expect it whenever I do Korean restaurants, that way when I get great service I’m happily surprised. The food at Global Garden can be good but it really depends on what you get. If you get the soups like the seafood combination they are the best. But don’t expect much from the kalbi and bbq options. I usually get carry-out and never noticed the extra charge for carry out containers. I agree with Michella that that is really cheesy. On my last visit I got the kimchi jjigae and it was really spicy — I liked it a lot.

I really really want to like this place, i do… but the lady up front just not that friendly. while i was looking through the menu she chu me to move to the side so i could make a decision and people behide me could do the same thing that i pretty much did. i wanted to leave but i really wanted korean food so i stuck with it. the food is ok, not bad but not good either. I had to take some of the food to go and she made me pay a dollar just to get some container to go. I’ve never heard of such thing.
