Jersey Mike’s Subs

Well, I have to drop my rating down to two stars. «Why?» you ask, because tonight was not a good night for them. Walked in and was ready to order. There were three people working behind the counter. They had to be the slowest employees I have ever seen. They seemed to not know what they were doing whatsoever. It took about 10 minutes for them to make two subs and one wrap. Personally, I think I’ve seen sloths move faster than them! It was funny and scary that they did not know how to make a Caesar Wrap. Of course, the Caesar Wrap was my order! I just want to write out the commentary of these three workers:

#3 puts the chicken on the grill and then goes over to the instructions and reads what goes in the wrap!
At that point I went to sit down at their sticky, unclean table, and I can tell you that was a mistake. I got the wrap and it was wrapped and cut poorly. It made me wonder if the worker who did my wrap came from the Sheets Gas Station on PWC Parkway. In addition to me clearly saying several times (like a forgetful person) that I did not want it cut, they also added tomatoes. Tomatoes, something not mentioned on the board and I have never received in ANY of my wraps! I, of course, took it back to be corrected and it seemed as if only one worker knew that the Caesar Wrap didn’t come with tomatoes. They remade it and luckily it was not made by the first lady, of whom was messing up another person’s wrap. I found it weird that they had no forks or knives like they usually have and they took away the Cherry Pepsi. I recommend that, if you come here, only stick to a sub and make sure you have time on your hands, because they are SLOW!

Great sub for the price. Original 13 all day. And a three pack of cookies, because cookies.

Great food and service. I love the new roll they are using for the mini. Perfect taste and size.

Subs are good and typical jersey mikes. It’s hit and miss whether the staff is motivated or not. I’ve been there when the staff is working hard and then there are nights like tonight when there is a line and one staff member is SLOWLY stocking the chips while one guy is working on orders.

Went in today to check this place out. Before I gave a 3* review because cleanliness is of most importance and someone stated the guy didn’t change gloves after handling money. Now I’m giving 1*.and I’d give it ZERO* if I could.
We walked in and the first thing I noticed was the cutting board near the veggies. It wasn’t full of food but you could tell it hadn’t been wiped either.
I’ve been waiting all day to enjoy a Philly cheese steak. Then I saw the guy cooking throw «steak-​um» type frozen slab on the grill. I asked him if they used frozen steak for their philly cheese steak and he replayed yea… well I told him no way was I paying $ 13 for frozen steak-​um… .We left.
If I’m gonna pay their prices, I expect a MUCH BETTER QUALITY of food. I can buy a box of 20 steak-​ums at any grocery store for about $ 12 &rolls for a few bucks.. If I wanted to eat that crap, I’d make it at home!

Love the subs! Fast and good food. Price are descent. I’m giving 3 stars fact that I didn’t see him change gloves from the register to making the subs. Moving on to next customer they are very fast. Changing glove won’t take about 2 – 5 seconds. If the line is long! Don’t worry they move fast! Maybe with this review managers will make them change gloves…

Today was my first experience at Mike’s! The sub was amazing, but the staff (Kayla) was the rudest person I have yet to encounter staff wise at a restaurant. Not only did she roll her eyes at me when I questioned the sandwich size options, she made a comment about to another staff member right in front of me! She needs some serious customer service training… Subway is a good start.

We have been totally hooked on their subs. No chips needed, so that alone tells you how much delicious meat they stack on your sub. The steak and cheese are divine and plentiful! For a nice warm day, I found love in the Super Sub-Mike’s way is all I get. Yummmm…
Price range? I usually spend $ 36 for my family of 4-​but that included one Giant sub. The meat and bread is totally worth it. Subways has been erased off our list and memories.

Just tried this spot last week and will definitely be back. I got the chipotle chicken cheese steak it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the Philly steak and cheese and he was also very satisfied.

Love, love, love this place. The sandwiches are delicious and filling. Many choices to choose from, but my favorite so far is the Chipotle Steak & Cheese. The bread is a french bread style that is soft, but a little crispy on the outside. Great foundaion for whatever you put in there. The prices are much different from Subway (the $ 5 deal excluded) but the portion and taste is so much better. Compared against Quiznos, not reason to go back to Quiznos. I like that it is ala cart or combo, so you can design a meal just right for your appetite. Our first visit there, we brought in a buy one get one free coupon for the local Entertainment coupon book. It wasn’t one of the participating locations as it wasn’t open when this coupon book went out, but the manager honored it anyway. That is great customer service! I highly recommend this place and I always look forward to going back.

Reminds me of Tony Luke’s in Philly. Not as good but close. Great place to get cheesesteaks in the Bridge!

Jersey Mike’s is a very special place to me. From the fresh sliced meats, to the fresh baked bread. Everything Jersey Mike’s does, pretty much aligns with how I believe a submarine sandwich should taste and be made.
The only thing you need to know is this: NO. 2, Mike’s Way, no tomatoes, add pickles and pepper relish. Enjoy!

This has to be the cleanest sandwich shop that I have ever been. This new location is starting STRONG! These owners are putting their heart and soul into their work!

Awesome Subs, very friendly, and they cut the meat right when they make your sub made the way you want it.
