We have been seeing Dr Kumar for years. My kids love him and they are always able to fit our kids in the same day for sick appts. We have seen his NP Betsy and she is great as well. Very knowledgeable and great with the kids. My daughter is actually more comfortable seeimg Betsy now that she is getting old where the boys like Dr Kumar. I work in a doctors office so I get to hear alot of feedback from my patients who always seem to have a hard time getting an appointment with their pediatrician and end up going to an urgent care. We have never been unable to get in with Dr Kumar or one of his partners when the kids have been sick. I keep his cards handy to give out to my own patients.

I lost my milk supply as Dr. Kumar couldnt decide if my baby was crying due to stomach problems or colic and told me to stop breastfeeding. A week later he told me to breast feed my child.
He doesnt know what he’s talking about. His staff in his woodbridge office is HORRIBLE!!! They have severe attitude problems — only pay attention to babies coming in from their own nationality.
Lastly, at my son’s 3 month shots, they made him bleed because they couldnt find cotton swabs to press on the shot on his thighs and he bled for a good 2 minutes. After that I decided never ever to come back here again because I was disgusted by his office staff.
