The store is great they have a variety of frames and workers are kind, but I have to take a star away for the wait time I had to go through.

Didn’t have the best experience with the optometrist at the mall location. One doctor had me in a prescription way too strong. They were not super accommodating when I wanted to come back and re check. The receptionist on the phone can be quite rude. I wish I knew her name bc she needs a lesson in customer service. Never again! And don’t waste your time or money.
The folks who sell the frames are excellent. The manager there is top notch and when he heard we had bad experiences at lens crafters previously he wanted to make our experience great. First with my husband and then with me when it was my turn for new glasses. Even the staff is very helpful and patient. I’d absolutely go back once I get a prescription elsewhere.

Jimmy at the Potomac Mills Lens Crafters is absolutely amazing. He helped me pick my glasses and explained the HD lenses and also set me up with 1 year protection plan. I usually get ignored when I walk in but today I had the best experience and Jimmy is the reason why I purchased my glasses today. He is great and needs to be promoted. Exceptional employee and is why I will recommend him to all of my friends and family to go to him.

Convenience and experience with me in the same place. The only down star is when they’ll see you even if it’s for repairs. Just gander at the glasses and then they’ll see you.
If you happen to go to the Eye Exam next door and receive your papers, that comes in handy if you’re holding it in your hands to replace your prescriptions.

Stopped in today to have new lenses put in existing frames (not purchased from this company). The gentleman who first greeted me was very polite and directed me to Linda who assisting me and was extremely helpful. We talked like we’d know each other for years. No pushed sales, no BS, Out with new lenses in 15min. Great experience!

So I went here for an eye exam. The receptionist were very unprofessional. They were on their phones. And help inappropriate conversations about there sex lives and gossip. It was very awkward. They were trying to charge me a co-​pay. I am glad I knew my benefits. Because I was covered at 100%. With NO copay. The Dr was nice and professional.

Oh yeah the people that work there talk and act very nice with the customers, but I got a bad deal — a big discount is Not really a discount when it is taken off an exorbitant price. My husband got new comparable glasses soon afterwards at BJs for Much Less! The worst part was that LensCrafters did Not give me what the doctor wrote on my prescription, so the glasses made me very dizzy! They did Not even want to admit their mistake, so it was a Huge Hassle to get them remade correctly. Will Never go there again. Period!

I walked into this Lenscrafters actually just looking to get a feel on how much glasses would cost, with a prescription already from my optometrist, it was a breeze to get new glasses. Linda is one of the best persons I have ever worked with in the customer service industry; her expertise and enjoyable personality just makes you feel right at home. I had frames and lenses picked out and paid for in 20 minutes (mind you, I didn’t have the full intent to walk our with a new pair of glasses that day) and they were ready for pick up in less than 1 hour. I would certainly recommend this Lenscrafters to anybody.

The staff here were very helpful. I dropped and broke my newly purchased frames after two weeks! I took them back and they were extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. The manager was able to replace my frames at no cost! AMAZING! I would recommend this branch to everyone.

I had a great experience when purchasing my glasses today. Granted I did not get an eye exam, I was out of there in less than 20 minutes with a new pair of frames and lenses that were ready for pickup in an hour. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I’ll give this Lencrafters 3-​stars because the chain is a fairly good place to purchase glasses. I did purchase a pair of glasses once but unfortunately took them back because I wasn’t thrilled with them. The people there were helpful, but at times the wait is long. Never got my eyes examined there though.

I wasn’t thrilled with this place, I waited forever, even though I had an appointment. After I had my eye exam and came back later to pick up my glasses and have them fitted, I again waited forever. But that was after another long wait because they lost my records. My doc was very nice but the whole experience was very irritating.
