River Falls Salon & Spa

I had been having a rough day and my mom knew it. She came home and suggested looking for a spa that participates in the spa finder gift card she had and we stumbled upon river falls. I called and they said they could take us in if we got there soon. We headed over and were greeted warmly. We picked our colors and headed to the pedicure area. The area was calm and relaxing. We sat down and Tiffany and Lynn came over to greet us. Mom got the basic pedicure and I got the callous pedicure. We were served a glass of wine and some crackers and grapes which was lovely. Our pedicures were amazing and even included a free hot towel treatment and parafin wax treatment, which was the promotion that month. Overall we were extremely happy with our pedicures and this is the place I will go from now on for my nails.

Let me start off by saying that you get what you pay for here!
I walked in and was kindly received at the front desk. I was talked through the different options available for mani/​pedi. I was then escorted to a semi private room sectioned off with curtains for each customers privacy. The chairs at modern, lights dim, and sterile tools are used. Chandeliers hang down and beautiful classical music played in the background.
My pedicure was truly exceptional. I got a wonderful chair massage as I watched tv on their plasma and munched on some grapes and cold bottled water provided by them.
Full-​set was on point! Excellent attention to detail and hair service was as well

Good haircut but I wouldn’t do color again!

I don’t know what happened to my other review. Deleted? Maybe. I would understand why this business wouldn’t want anyone to see what I posted. Reported to VA Dept. of Health — sent my medical documents/​receipts.
Anywho, got a nasty staph infection from a facial wax. I have undergone numerous laser treatments and chemical peels to help discoloration and scarring. My face will never be the same. My wedding pictures were ruined. My face still hurts from time to time. I called manage to let her know — she refused to help me and said she could’ve given me a prescription for the infection (uh, what, are you even a doctor?!). No settlement, no reimbursement of medical costs, no reimbursement of several $ 300+ dermalogical cosmetic treatments.

This place is amazing! I was met right away and there wasn’t a wait! Snacks and a stress pad for mani and pedi! Eye brow wax was also fabulous!!! Price is moderate but what a wonderful job they did!
I was lucky enough to get the owner, Bebe, who was very patient with my picky nature! My eye brows turned out perfect and so was my overall spa experience! Will definitely make this my go to place! Can’t wait to try the Brazilian wax!

Worst place to get a Brazilian wax. Lena is very careless and unsanitary. She does not put gloves on, does not change spatulas, does change wax cans and can’t perform a clean wax at all. She irritates the skin and makes excuses for her lack of professionalism. Do not go there for a wax job ever!

I will not go back. My sister, niece, and I went this evening and all got the same treatment. (Black Sea royal treatment). My niece was charged $ 10 more than my sister and me and when questioned, we were told that she got the callus treatment. My regular day spa includes it, as does many other spas but we were told that all spas charge extra. I feel strongly that the technician has an obligation to inform the client that there will be an additional charge for a service that is routinely included at other spas. I didn’t receive a top coat, my sister didn’t receive a bottom coat. The spa was empty and now I know why. Save the $ 50 on their pedicure. Go somewhere else.

This is only a review on The mani and pedi — they used to be good before new management. Nam and Katie were the best nail techs and they left. Since then the quality has gone down and I’ve stopped going

Im extremely upset at the service this place offered. I called and scheduled a week prior to the date i wanted my hair to be done the night before they called me and told me they could not do my apt. Because my hair dresser had a doctors apt. I had to ask them if i could have a different time… They never mentioned it. The receptionist didnt seem to know anything. They quoted me a price that they said they were uncertain about for just styling. No cut, wash or color just styling for 30 with a discount. It ended up being 49 with the discount. And on top of that they failed to mentiom over the phone that they only accept tips in cash so there in house atm they have charges 3.50 for cash withdrawals. Biggest waste of my money and my hair is nothing like i expected. Its so disappointing. If i knew it would turn out like this i would have done it myself. Lets just say i will never be going to this place in the future. They one star is for location. Your welcome.

Color glaze, Haircut, blow dry. Gabi did a great job with my long hair — no surprises. Neck massage after shampoo — the best! Very clean salon, relaxing atmosphere which is hard to find around here.

I have waited a LONG time to get anything done to my hair because of cost and also being nervous to try a place since I moved away from my last salon. A Groupon offer popped up in my email this week that was just too good to pass up! A cut, shampoo, and full foil highlight for only $ 75 (seriously that’s less than half price) so it was an amazing deal and I jumped on it!
I was nervous to see what my groupon would get me, but I was totally blown away by the service I received and the quality of their work! I LOVE my cut and color. My stylist was Dawn and she took much time to look at pictures and ask questions during our consult to make sure she would give me the exact look and style that I wanted. She took her time and is super thorough in the details. She’s extremely knowledgable and talented at what she does.
The salon itself is clean and stylishly decorated on the inside, and all the staff I interacted with were courteous and friendly. They offer complimentary beverages during your visit as well which is a great touch.
Overall I am so pleased with the deal I got on this groupon and the service I received from Dawn! While their normal prices are a little high, I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for quality service and style!

My family & I were so impressed with our pedicures! I got mine done with Vy and she was absolutely outstanding! This salon is one of the best to get pedicures in this area. Great service– simply the best!!! Highly recommended!

This is my favorite spot! Rarely do I have to wait & the scrub massage is included in the price for a pedicure. They offer you a beverage at no extra cost & I today I got fresh fruit & crackers.

There was a groupon deal for a OPI Shellac Mani & milk and honey Pedi for $ 39! For that price, it was definitely worth a try!
I was able to make a same day appointment, although, they do welcome walk-​ins. Waited less than 5 minutes before I was brought back. The pedicure area was clean, w/​ambient lighting and a television visible, w/​the volume off, and music playing in the background. My nail tech was Vy. She was very courteous. The best part was the foot/​leg scrub and massage. It was just great! nothing too special with the mani. They were pretty busy, but Vy took her time and not once did i feel like she was rushing. I’m only giving it 4stars because their nail polish color collection wasn’t too impressive.
Needless to say, I will be going back.

My pedicure was fine, better than most places. They were very attentive.
However, my technician did not ask what type of pedi I wanted and without my knowledge, gave me one that was an extra $ 15. I mentioned this to the girl at the desk when I went to pay, twice, and she charged me the incorrect price, saying she couldn’t do anything about it.
Also, they do not allow tips via credit card, which is quite inconvenient.
I won’t be back.

Purchased a deal on Groupon for a mani/pedi.best pedicure I ever had. manicure wasn’t bad either. Vy was great. took her time. awesome massage I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep.

I bounced around looking for a Hair stylist when I moved up here and was never happy until I found Teresa! I am very picky about my hair — I get a combination of low lights and highlights. I also have thick long hair and the layering is very important. I have been going to her for two years and will never switch! She is very passionate about what she does and if you are looking for something different she really listens! I constantly get compliments on my hair and as a result several of my friends and family members are now her clients as well :)

Enjoyed my day here. Groupon made it oh so reasonable. My technician was great and the atmosphere was really nice. Not sure why there are TV’s in the nail area if they’re going for the spa feel but maybe old habits die hard.
The prices are ok but I sent my daughter there for a fil and the price was too high. I don’t want to discourage anyone becuase as an adult, I don’t mind the cost but check the charges.

I love this place for pedicures. Seriously love it. They have so many different ones to choose from, and when my feet need a little pampering, I have yet to find a place I like better in the Woodbridge area.
They are almost always running some sort of special. If you don’t want the scrub (I usually don’t), they will substitute something else, and they have good technique for the massage portion of the services. Additionally, they never roll their eyes when my feet are a little dry or cracked — and I’ll be honest, they are a lot of the time I go in! They do a beautiful french pedicure look.
