Slender Spa

I had an appointment for Memorial Day but was contacted by the spa on Friday and told since the other clients cancelled their appointments for that day mine would need to be cancelled or moved to Saturday because they made a decision to close. I selected a 12:30 appointment on Saturday but was told they would get me in at 10:30. Saturday morning I realized I had a service appointment for my car that morning and called to see if they could get me in later on Saturday. I spoke to Jennifer who said they were booked for the whole day on Saturday. She asked me if I could be there at 9am on Monday and she would take care of me. I drove up from Manassas and arrived at about 8:30 because I appreciated her accommodating me for my upcoming vacation. At 9:30 no one had shown up so I left. I thought it was rude to cancel my initial appointment and I thought it was more rude to have me drive down and waste my gas and time for no one to even show up. What happened to customer service? I’m busy, I work a lot and I make appointments for a reason
Update. I was contacted by the company to reschedule due to an unforeseen incident. I will reschedule, however it would have been nice to try this out sooner rather than later. I’ll update once I actually get a chance to try the wraps.

I will admit that I was a total skeptic– could wrapping myself really take off inches and have that last for a time period? My experience was first class all the way. The process was explained to me thoroughly and there was additional explanation about the minerals and the effect they would have on my body. Anita and her staff measured me and wrapped me. I was able to watch TV while I exercised. I lost a ridiculous amount of inches all over my body, but the most from my thighs. I was actually leaving on a cruise the next day for 4 days and had tried on a pair of jean shorts that I couldn’t even get up my legs the previous night. Well an hour after I left the spa, I was wearing the shorts and was able to fit into several items that didn’t fit previously. Anita and staff made sure I understood the best way to maintain the results. It was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone. Toxins were released from my body and I just felt and looked great! WIN WIN! Highly recommend.

Thank you Anita for the best experience and the most amazing results! I am 55 years old and still want to look good… I have been coming to Slender Spa for over a year and am addicted. Not only do my clothes feel better but it has made my knee pain go away completely. I went to my nephew’s engagement party in May after being wrapped and was asked by my relatives if I had lost weight or had a surgical procedure done. i just attended a wedding this weekend and was told by many friends that I hadn’t changed in 30 years! I love the results and as a professional in the healthcare field I so appreciate the time that Anita and her staff take to ask my concerns and try to address them during my sessions. I will never stop going for wraps and suggest that any middle aged man or woman get them regularly to make you feel as young on the outside as you feel on the inside. I am looking forward to my wrap in early November and will come more often before the holidays so I can wear an amazing outfit. Thank you again

Slender Spa in Woodbridge has been very helpful to me. I have gone 5+ times (lost count). In losing 102 pounds at one point, I would reward myself with body wraps to help tighten up. I have gone back since in preparation for engagement photos and also plan to go back before my wedding dress fitting and before my wedding. I have only done the resting treatment once, where you lie down for targeted inch loss – the rest, I have done by being wrapped and exercising. So if you go & you go for relaxation, make sure to do the resting wrap. Otherwise, you are working for your inch loss, just as you may doing with regular exercise.
I always feel rejuvenated, my skin is soft, and I have lost several inches each time & feel that the inch loss has been maintained by eating well/​exercising. The staff is knowledgeable, efficient, and very nice. I enjoy my visits every time I go. If you’ve never been, give it a shot! :)

I saw this place advertised on groupon and my curiosity got the better of me. Overall I lost 11inches. It was an interesting experience I will say that. I actually started to doze off while I was laying there bandaged up like a mummy. That warming cocoon they have you lay in after sure was comfy.
The woman that did my wrap was knowledgeable and professional — despite getting a lot of measurements in practically my birthday suit.

It was my first experience getting a Slimming Body Wrap. I must admit it was very unexpected.
At first, a staff member measures your legs, waist and arms, ie all the trouble spots to target fat! Then, they wrap you like a mummy (tight, tight, tight) with cloth strips presoaked in mineral solution. Then, they place you in a warm bed with plastic cover and something looking like a body bag (kinda creepy, I know). The fat cells supposedly melt away while you lay there 40 min.
All in all, my overall inch loss was a whopping 12 inches from all areas, however, they do say that you will not experience pound loss.
Overall, I think customer service was great, however, I need to research more on the effectiveness of treatment.
P. S. I felt like I was smaller in the waist the day of treatment but not quite the next day

Great experience! I went in for the body slimming wrap which is a 40 minute treatment. The staff was super professional, the atmosphere is very calming and I lost 7 ½ inches in one treatment! I started with a Groupon but will definitely go back for more. Excellent job!
