I believe the person who did my hair named Haley! She did a great job on my hair and I also get many compliments for it! I will always go to this salon from now on and all people there do the best job for your hair! Thank you Haley

I was pleased with both of my hair stylists which is why I have 2 stars. There are several reasons why this is not a five star salon. For starters, when it’s busy you can and WILL get passed off to an «assistant», beauty school students, to shampoo, blow dry or finish your process unless you state I only want to be handled by my stylist. I learned this for my last visit… This should be advertised in advance, because if I wanted a beauty school blow out, shampoo etc, I would go to that establishment and pay ½ the price. When your spending several hundred dollars on your hair, you expect a quality experience from start to finish. I observed a assistant/helper do a blow dry and I was horrified, that even well after the hair was dry, the assistant kept trying to smooth the look out, but was not a polished, flowing @Drybar look. Then on one of my occasions, the salon manager was told to put me under a dryer, which she did not know how to opperate and I was left with bleach on my hair for an extended amount of time without enough heat. Which when my stylist came fetch me, was dumb founded to find no heat and had to add more time with heat on top of the time I already spent there… Then there’s the lack of integrity. When you sit down with your stylist to go over the game plan and prices for services that will be received there shouldn’t be a significant difference when you check out to pay. I discovered, only after I left the salon that, I was over charged. So I called to get the itemized break down. The girl who answered the phone said my Brazilian blowout was $ 25 dollars more than what my stylist told me and they added a texture fee as well. When asked what that’s about, I was told because of the kind of texture my hair is. Now, offended, being a multi-racial ethnicties, my hair is naturally fine, curly and soft. But because I’m «brown» with curly hair I get a hidden texture fee? Regardless that I have shoulder length hair and it took ½ the time to complete my Brazilian blow out? I have been doing Brazilian blowouts on my hair for several years, every 3 – 4 months in California, Nevada, Texas and Florida in the major cities. The market price for the solution is $ 100 per ounce of the step 2 solution. I have always paid $ 200. This salon is over pricing this service at $ 275 for shoulder length hair. If my hair was mid back or waist level, you factor $ 100 additional for additional length, thick, corse or kinky hair. Which this salon clearly told me because of the kind of hair I have add additional hidden fee. It’s shady, unethical and just flat out wrong. I will go else where to find a salon who honors the Braziluan blowout national prices at $ 100 like Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Austin and Orlando. If it were not for the two stylist that took care of me this Salon would not have any Stars for the lack of quality and priofessionalism for such a large establishment. On a side note in 1 month and 3 visits, one being a consult, I have spent over $ 700, one for a incomplete inital balayage that was split into 2 sessions because I couldn’t not stay at the salon for 7 hours, was charged a color for the toner that was not applied to my hair on the 2nd visit, due to my hair ended up fried for the additional time under the dryer I had to cut my hair, a Brazilian blowout to seal the toned down color of my inital balayage to lift color which left my hair orange/red. Besides the results of my sleek Brazilian blow out, my hair does not look like I spent $ 700 with the colors, or my cut. Had Guy Tang been working here I would see where my money went. I would have gone with the wind fabulous hair instead of the okay, I can live with this after walking around with Ronald McDonald hair for a week and 4 days. Never ever again; as a new customer to this area, trusting the reviews on google, Unilocal and Instagram, this salon is a smoke and mirror. I did my homework and ended up over paying for services, insulted based on my appearance, and not happy with my hair. It’s sad when I think about the not only my experience but the other customers coming to get a fresh look and walk out with busted blow outs not received by the Tier 1 – 5 stylist, still not exactly sure how this salon applies these titles, at Tony and Guy in Texas, or ARCS in CA or NV, your paying for the higher Tier and get outstanding results. I was robbed of my time and money…

Absolutely amazing experience! I just moved to the area and it was very scary finding a new salon to trust someone with my blonde highlights. Esther did my hair and I’m still in awe! She made me feel so comfortable and the final product was beautiful! Definitely will become a regular! Also when I called to make my appointment the receptionist was super sweet. The woman who washed my hair was awesome as well. All around positive experience and very satisfied with my hair!

Just got the worst haircut! Been there a few times but this time I feel like I was screwed over! Even my 3 year old told me my hair looked bad! Just went in for a simple hair cut and the layers look terrible! It’s like she didn’t even focus on my hair type, thickness. I usually swoop my bangs to the side but for some reason she cut a few of my bangs to the middle of my forehead! Then the new girl she was training gave me the worst blow dry. I asked the stylist to fix it but she didn’t. I’m just so upset i even paid for this ugly hair cut and I will never go back! Even friends of mine that I referred said they will never go to her because they see how bad my hair looks!!!

Liz is a magician! I literally went into statements looking like Ronald McDonald from a bad ombré job and Liz made me look like Jessica Alba after she fixed my hair. She saved my life. Liz is my go to lady:) Jessy

Second time coming to this salon. The first time was an okay experience which is why I wanted to give it a second try today. So first of all I came in with a quote of $ 115. So when I sat down the stylist started naming all this stuff she was going to do. Mind you, she didn’t tell me she was charging me for all this extraness that she«recommended». And to add to it she decided she wanted to curl it(in which I didn’t ask for) she just says«I wanna see what it looks like curled» so I’m like ok whatever. I ended up being charged $ 245 !!! She didn’t quote me on anything or let me know prices of the stuff(in which I had no idea about. I’m not a stylist). Also, she was with me maybe 45 min? She kept pushing me off on to other people so she could do her other clients hair. It was like my hair didn’t matter to her. She just wanted to all this extra process for her money. Definitely looking elsewhere for a salon!!! Never again.

i go to this salon for occasional blowouts from the associate stylists. It is refreshing to feel appreciated as a customer and the salon is a well oiled machine. I highly recommend treating yourself to this service. Honestly I just had a blowout from a closer salon in Burke(double the price) and it was not nearly as good. The salon in Burke wanted to charge me $ 10 extra dollars for flat ironing for a minute just to smooth rough edges.

My mom, sister, and I always go to Christine Nguyen when we go to Statements. All three of us are very particular with how we like our hair to be done and she nails it every time. Christine is very eager to make you feel good and your hair look good. She also is very friendly and it takes the anxiety of getting a new hairstyle away. If you’re looking for someone who cares about your wants and needs, go to her because she really listens and tries her best to make your vision come true. If you’re feeling adventurous and are wanting something spontaneous, Christine is a talented artist that will blow you away with her skills. I only have good things to say about this salon; from the moment you walk in, to the moment you walk out, you are nothing but cared for every step of the way.

I came here last Saturday to get an updo for prom done by «Little Christine». I hadn’t been to the salon in years but they’ve recently renovated and not only is it so much bigger but it looks so great! On to the actual service, I am incredibly picky but Christine went above and beyond my expectations and also managed to get me out of there in less than an hour! The salon recognizes their hairstylists by tiers and although I was a little weary because Christine was a Tier One, her work was SO beautiful and I received so many compliments all night. Not to mention it seriously did not budge at all!!! I ended up not getting a very good picture of it but anyone who’s looking for someone to do an updo should definitely take my word for it and ask for Little Christine!

I went to this salon for the first time because of a gift certificate. I am so glad that I did! First off, I was greeted as soon as I walked into the door. Once I was checked in, my wait time was less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, i did not get the name of the person that brought me back and washed my hair but, she has two tone hair in a bob and gives an awesome scalp massage. Mel is the person that cut my hair. I had no idea what I wanted and really needed help. She gave me a couple of ideas and asked me before she did anything including what styling tools I had at home. Her haircut was completely geared towards me. It’s the best haircut I have had In a long time and it is easy to style. Mina did my facial and I highly recommend her! She has a wonderful personality and talks you through the entire procedure. I ended up getting a deep cleaning facial and felt amazing afterwards! Her facial massage is soooooo relaxing. I can tell you that time flew with her because it was so enjoyable! I can say that I will happily be coming back!

Mel O was my colorist and stylist yesterday. She did great with my blond highlights but a terrible job with my haircut. I had long frizzy hair and was ready to try a long bob. I showed her pictures of what I wanted but all she did was to massacre my hair. She cut my hair very short on the front and in layers when I asked her to not do that. Plus the left side is longer than the right side. She let my hair medium length in the back. This is the worst haircut I ever had. If you go to see her just stick with highlights and don’t let her approach a pair of scissor from your head!

I’d give this place 20 stars if I could, or at least I would to Christine Nguyen. Before her at the salon I tried one girl who was horrible, one who was good but just didn’t do my funky hair styles, so it’s definitely important to find someone who fits your personality. Anyway, I’ve been seeing Christine for a little over 5 years or so. She always fits me in last minute, stays after closing if she needs to, takes the most time and attention to the cut I’ve ever seen, and always gives me the best price possible where as most hair stylists try to milk whatever they can… She is fabulous with natural colors and funky ones like purple, mermaid hair and rose gold. She is great at makeup application as well. She’s cut my hair from medium length to short and helped me grow it out and cut it again. This girl can do it all. Highly recommend her, you def won’t be sorry!

I just got my hair done today by «Little» Christine Nguyen. Don’t let her height fool you, this woman is fierce and has a huge personality. She works her butt off every time I see her and always tries her best. I love that I havent seen her in over a year yet she still remembered me and what we spoke about last time I saw her. To me this shows that she truly cares and wants to make you happy. She always does exactly what I want… I Had a very dull blonde that she brought up to a honey ash blonde with red violet underneath and a few lowlights. I Had a very important modeling interview today and they commented on how great my hair looked all thanks to Christine! Shes also very quick. She gets the job done and makes you very comfortable. I have finally found my hairdresser for life whom I just adore. I highly recommend Christine Nguyen to everyone. She has done very many different styles with my hair and nails it every time.

I’d love to say that I had a great experience here as others have, but after two tries I will not be returning. After my regular stylist stopped working, I was(still am) shopping around for my new regular hair salon. The first experience the lady highlighted my hair(it was alright) but whatever she used made my hair feel terrible for months afterward — turns out it was bleach. My 2nd visit was for a cut, for which I read several Unilocal reviews to narrow down who I wanted to see. The experience was«meh». I felt like I got more attention from the woman washing my hair than the girl cutting my hair. I guess it all depends on the type of experience you want… but Statements(both times) made me feel like I was just another head of hair and didn’t really take the time and attention to really focus on me. Overall, I’m sorry to say that i was not impressed enough to come back. :-/

Finally decided it was time to do something with my hair, so I called up Statements. Everyone was extremely nice, and made me feel welcome. Just the hair washing and head massage experiences were so pleasant! I had no idea what I really wanted other than«something different» and no fuss, and Hannah helped me choose and made suggestions. My new haircut makes my thin straight hair and high hairline look as good as it can, and I’ve gotten so many compliments! Would definitely return

Well, that kinda sucked. Was happy they had an appointment available at 1245, so I got there at 1235ish so I could check in. Salon is huge and busy, waiting area had room for 8 people and was packed, so I stood around for a bit. Went to the bathroom, came back, still no stylist. Stood some more waiting, finally caught a receptionist’s eye to ask for status — was told a few more minutes. Saw that stylist probably still had a good 15 – 20 mins of drying and flat ironing a customer’s hair. Was offered to get hair washed, but you know what? Ain’t nobody got time for that. So, i, an unhappy ex-customer cancels appointment and walks out so I can sit in my car and look for another salon on Unilocal. Tip for management? If stylist is running late, then please send a text saying so. Then I would have taken my time driving to said salon in order to be punctual and hey, I could have maybe gone and grabbed a coffee. Also, I’d recommend sweeping up around the waiting area/makeup station. Huge chunks of hair standing around. Kinda gross, considering salon was nice. Sincerely, Asian girl who does NOT run on Asian time.
