Top 5 pizza place in New Jersey. Fabulous wings! Be ready to wait for a seat if you go at dinner time. Better to go on off hours.

I really wanted to love this place, but every time I order it was average-below average. The chicken Caesar salad was ok. The pizza was mediocre. The two chicken wraps I ordered were brunt. If you want something quick to eat you should come, but if you’re looking for anything with decent quality I wouldn’t recommend it.

The workers was incompetent and the food came later than the people that came after us. Food was good but I had a bad experience

I remember the pizza being so great last time I was here and unfortunately last night it was a little disappointing. The pizza I think may have needed a few more minutes in the oven, it wasn’t crispy like last time. The taste is still great, the crust was off. The boneless wings were also super soggy, although the sauce was good. I saw a few orders of regular wings that looked good, but I was with my mom and she doesn’t like to eat them on the bone. The service is always great and the most noticeable thing is the restaurant is so clean and bright! I will be back hoping that it was just an off night because I really do believe it was.

My wife and I stopped at Strawberry’s for a late dinner. This place is a lot smaller then I was expecting, basically a small bar with booths and a side area for parties or groups. The restaurant seemed clean and the servers are very friendly and helpful. I was helped by at least four different servers at one time or another. We started off with some drinks, they have a good selection of beers, I tried the Allagash White and a couple of Dogfishhead 60 min IPAs. We tried some apps My wife tried the corn nuggets and she wasn’t impressed, I tried the disco fries just fries with cheese and brown gravy but I really enjoyed them. For entrees I tried The Jersey Shore burger and My wife had the bacon cheese burger which came with like a pound of bacon and both came with fries. The food itself was good, nothing spectacular typical bar fare. We also tried the funnel fries that we good just a little too greasy. I also think the pick up line for take-out should be in a different place not right in the middle of the restaurant. And the party area which was being used for a birthday at the time can get very loud. Overall The place was a-ok quick stop for a burger and I would recommend Strawberry’s to family and friends

First off I am giving 2 stars for my last visit. I generally have no issue with their food but, last time I did. My husband and I go there a few times a month.(I like it more then my husband) So, last time we went my husband decided to get a meatball parm sub.(He usually gets a meatball/onion pie. But, it’s been REALLY light on meatballs. Anyway, the sandwich comes and it’s full of tiny store bought«meatballs». They were terrible. We returned it and with no problem. My problem is with the response I received from an owner. After I messaged them explaining how shocked I was with the fact that they were choosing to use that type of product. And I didn’t get any response so I had posted the pic of that sandwich the nite it happened and after a week I posted the name. And I have to tell you, his response was nothing but nasty. And has since been deleted. By him. Terrible way to handle that situation so there’s the 2 star. *****I posted only great things about the food up until this point in instagram. Idk what this guy is even talking about. I NEVEREVER had a problem with their food.

I liked the vibe here. Friendly and comfortable. The service started off really good and attentive but then once we were finally ready to order, our waitress disappeared. The pizza was decent but nothing particularly special. They had pretty good happy hour specials($ 3 for domestic, $ 5 for craft beer pints). They also have a $ 5 dollar deal for 2 plain slices and a beer or a soda. Oh and they offer pizza rewards which I thought was pretty cool. An OK spot to grab a beer and some food if you are in the area.

I really like this place food, beer, and wait staff is great my only complaint is the prices are getting to high I’ve been going here for a long time. Linwood in linden has the same pizza recipe but more toppings on pie, seems strawberrys is a little tight with toppings!!!

Getting into the Strawberry’s parking lot from Route 35 without navigation is a little confusing. The restaurant is located on a north bound one way section of Amboy Ave where it splits/merges with Convery(route 35). From 35 southbound, it almost looks like you can make the turn, but then there’s a big do not enter sign as you approach the restaurant. To legally and safely get there you need to take the jug handle U-turn on the route 35 N which is a little past the fork in the road. The parking is good. The pizza didn’t quite live up to the hype surrounding it. They only serve one size pie and possibly individual slices. A specialty pie has generous toppings though still pricey at $ 17.50 — $ 19.50, that would feed two to three people. I tried the margarita, meat lovers, and Joey G’s(sausage and broccoli rabe) pies. The crust didn’t have much a taste to it, quite bland. Fresh out of the oven, the crust is light, airy and crispy but hardens to a dry crunch as it cools down. The dough mix is likely watery and has low gluten content. I’d prefer a little chewiness at least. The sauce, cheese, and toppings were all pretty good. The margarita pizza came out watery in the center because of the beef tomato slices they put on top. There’s definitely better pizza in the area. I haven’t tried any other food items. The craft beer selection is on the more conservative side. The restaurant has a nice open layout and updated interior. Nice place to hang out. Friendly staff and good vibes. I’d go back again for something other than pizza.

No complaints. Clean, laid back sports bar environment. Servers where attentive and friendly food was fast and very delicious. Even the food i managed to take a sneak peak at that were other guest looked good. I noticed they had a large draft and bottle beer selection. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to partake in due to the fact that I was on duty. Smh however theres always next time. Easy to miss because they are at an awkward location where amboy ave and 35 meet but a gps will get you there. If in they area again will definitely return.

Came here with friends once and can’t wait to go back. Was seated and greeted immediately. Our server was nice and our food arrived quickly. Seeing as how hungry we were my friends and I ordered 2 pies. Writing this review has made me hungry.

Nice location and environment. It got very busy when I had lunch there, the staff handled it decently. I ate the pastrami sandwich with Swiss, it came out with no cole slaw or Russian dressing and the bread wasn’t toasted much, it really could of been better. I was handed the bill with no pen so I left no tip and didn’t sign. Things were a little slow as well, pizza comes out much faster than a dish. From the looks of it they had a fully stocked bar with some really frosty beer taps, it looked good. It was a large bar with comfortable seating around it. Again, very good staff, some have a lot of experience and others don’t but it balances out. I would be willing to give Strawberries another shot.

I went here the other night after being told about it for years from my coworker. She raves about this place, for hours on end. I must admit, she was right. The pizza and wings are great. I recommend the sausage pie!!! The wings were just the right amount of hot. And they have a nice selection of beers, both on tap and bottles. I left off one star because the service was kind of spotty. The atmosphere was a bit low key from what I was expecting. I will definitely be back here, and I have high hopes for this place during football season.

My partner and I have been going to Strawberry pub for several years. We love the pizza and appetizers. Last Sunday we were with a couple of friends and decided to take them there for an early dinner. When we walked in there were two tables with a reserved sign on them. We sat at another table, but the it was a little tight. I asked the bus girl if the reserved tables are really reserved and she said she didn’t know and left us. Another waitress jumped in said it was ok to use the 6 person table so we did. So after a few minutes a group of people came into the restaurant and we were asked to move. Another waitress then rudely asked why did we sit at that table with a reserved sign. It was very annoying and disturbing since none of the staff were aware if the tables were reserved or not. The waitress who took our drink order, dropped off our drinks but never came back and another waitress came by an started taking our appetizer/entrée order. She was asking where we were from and we told her Staten Island. She said that was impossible because we was so polite. She also passed other rude comments that clearly stated she wasn’t fond of people from Staten Island. We went back and forth with her thought out our time there and it was getting very annoying and uncomfortable. The waitress who originally who brought us our drinks came back and told the other waitresses, why are you taking my table? The other waitress said, these guys are from Staten Island do you want to take them? The other waitress said no and walked away. We put in our appetizer order of mozzarella sticks, corn fritters, cheeseburger egg rolls and fried pickles. We also ordered a pizza and a couple of other entrées. One of my friends ordered a salad with grilled shrimp and clearly stated he did not want onions on it. The pizza came out first and not too long after our entrées came out. We asked the waitress what happened with our appetizers and she came back with a puzzled look and said, what appetizers? In addition the salad came out full of onions. My friend was disgusted. Needless to say, she never put in the appetizer order with the kitchen. After realizing she made a big mistake she was very concerned of what we will put in Unilocal and if will be coming back again. She did apologize but it was handled terribly, still joking around about Staten Island. There is a good chance that my partner and I will be going back to the Strawberry Pub, but I am certain my friends will not be joining us. The service was not so good, but the pizza and the entrees were very good, not including the salad with onions. My two stars are based on service(comments by the waitress) and the appetizer mistake. The waitresses need to be more focused on what they are doing and more attentive to their guests.

So I went here on my little barhop adventure with my roommate and he said this place was one of his favorite areas in town. Never been to Woodbridge so I thought«ehhh» let’s see. His reasoning: their chicken wings. OK. When you go to a pizza shop, your first thought usually isn’t «hey, let’s have some chicken wings» because y’know…it’s a pizza shop. I need you to think about that when you go here because they are ONPOINT. Deep fried, spicy goodness in every bite. Those are my two requirements in food and I’m so glad they were combined into one beautiful creation.

Great food, great scene, great people. I now live out of state but always make it a point to visit strawberry’s for some pizza when I’m in New Jersey. Great beer selection! My last visit we went out on a limb and ordered pulled pork egg rolls and Mexican pizza. I would definitely recommend it if you want to try something different. I’d highly recommend strawberry’s pub to anyone.
