The Ink on Paper Company

Doug did a superb job on my wedding invitation suite! After quite a long search for the perfect letterpress printer, I found Doug and could not have been more happy. My invitations were hand drawn by a calligrapher and Doug had no problem scanning and digitizing the hard copy originals mailed to him (most companies would have told me to go elsewhere). He made suggestions and pointed out potential problem areas. I was on a tight schedule because we were only about 10 weeks out from our wedding and still did not have the church finalized and Doug was patient and willing to get started on pieces that were ready, such as return addresses on envelopes, reception cards, etc. The outcome was perfection! Everything about it was exactly what I dreamed of and more… and this is coming from someone who has a degree in printing and pretty high expectations! An added bonus outside of his craft is that Doug understands the other pressures involved, such as getting the envelopes to the calligrapher so that she can get started on those before finishing the rest… this is a plus that you will not get at the chain print shops.
All around it was a wonderful experience and I am excited for the next opportunity to work with him. If you love paper and ink and the personal craft that goes into it, this is the place for you!
