OWNERSOLDRESTAURANT– New owners, but they used to work at Cinco De Mayo, and they have kept the Oaxacan menu. Now called«El Tule». This may now be the only place between Portland and Salem where you can get a tlayuda, given that the sister Cinco De Mayo restaurant in Mt. Angel is also closed, and the new owners are from Michuacan.

A great option if you specifically have a thing for molotes or tlayudas, which you won’t find anywhere else in town, but service is super slow, and you’re better off at one of the other places in Woodburn for routine stuff.

Awesome, authentic Oaxacan food. Only place I could find in all of Woodburn that serves Tlayudas **If anyone knows of anywhere else please tell me!**. Super friendly waitstaff but only about one or two of them speak English so be prepared for that if you go without knowing any spanish yourself. We got a beef tlayuda and a chicken mole and were so delicious. I like this place better than Luis’s even though that place seems to be more popular. I really want to come back some hungry morning and get entomatadas for breakfast– also the only place in Woodburn that seems to serve entomatadas and enfrijoladas! And they have handmade tortillas!
