Los Cabos Mexican Resturant

Enjoy my time with family at this place. the last time we went the wait staff was very friendly and upbeat.
Water refills were referenced as tequila (in fun, of course).
the food is amazing and considered to be close to the taste of food when in Mexico.

This place needs to check there hot sauce! It is expired it doesn’t even look like hot sauce if you sit by the window all of there sauce is expired!!!
& there meat taste old

First and last time we’ll ever come here. Service was terrible. We were never checked on once our food arrived. The food was sub par… nothing to write home about, and the salsa was inedible. I literally sat at the booth googling other Mexican restaurants in the area. We will most certainly not return here. It’s too bad too. I really wanted to like it. :(

The food here was okay, but this place has very bad customer service. The waitress was very rude and insinuated my friend and i were using fake ids.(we are in our late 20s) When our drinks finally came they were awful. They tasted like very old margarita mix with no liquor. Didnt even finish our drinks and left leaving no tip. Will not be coming back.

Good food and spacious bar area. Fav food for when we want a local spot. It tastes authentic to us :-)

I was served by Mecilla she was courteous extremely fast and the food was delicious. Everything about the experience was top-​notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

1 star for friendly staff and fair prices
1 star for SUPER cold beers w/​fresh Lime
1 star for having something the kids like (they really like the burger and fries here)
It was tough call on the fourth star but we went ahead and give it to them because the food is usually good.
Today was just sorta ok on the food, not sure what changed over time but used to be consistently good.
Will mostly likely give it another try, some of the other reviews were pretty harsh so wanted to try this old favorite again.
Not seeing any of the issues some of the others mentioned.

Let me start by saying the food tasted decent. That’s why I would give it 1 star. That said… everything else sucked horribly. The service was some of the worst I have ever had. I rarely make any reviews but the visit here made me download the Unilocal app immediately to make this review. So I went here with my wife and kids. We walked in and they didn’t even greet us, but instead said something in Spanish to each other, grabbed 2 menus for our party of 5 on a fairly slow evening, and we guessed we were supposed to follow her… we got the chips and salsa fairly quick and water soon to follow, but we’re never asked about any other drinks the entire time. A good 10 minutes later the server comes around to getting our order, the unfriendly waitress takes our order and is off. About 20 minutes later our starving family gets the food… my wife’s meal is the completely wrong meal then she ordered. The server sat there and literally argued with her at the table showing her what she wrote down on her pad and telling my wife that she ordered a certain number on the menu and she was wrong, rather than just getting the enchiladas she never stated a number for in the first place. So she leaves the table and says she will get the enchiladas that my wife ordered but it would take awhile because the kitchen was busy… with what who knows. As she leaves I start cutting into my meal notice that it’s not even the right meat I got chicken rather than the shredded beef that I ordered. After about five minutes of trying to get a server to come over and finally flagging our delightfully moody server down, I tell her about her mistake and she says the kitchen got it wrong and she walked away. So here I am not knowing what the hell I’m supposed to be doing now if I’m waiting for a meal or eating the one I have. At that point I told her don’t even worry about bring my wife back, we would pay for what we got and leave. Then she said we didn’t have to pay for it and walked away. A couple minutes later my wife’s new plate arrives anyway?! We asked to talk to the manager but she said there was none there. My wife ate a couple bites and couldn’t stomach anymore because it was so dry. She was barely communicating with us so we didn’t know what our bill was or if we even had to pay, so I walk upfront and she has my builder with everything on it and give me a blank stare. I asked her so what are we supposed be paying for. Get this, she asks me what I want to pay, and if i’ll pay half!!! I said «well I don’t really want to pay anything but I’m willing to pay for my kids meal and this other meal“but I don’t think it’s right that I should be paying any based on the service alone. She leaned over and said something in Spanish to what seemed to be a decision-​maker or «supervisor/​manager», whom she said wasn’t there and said I can pay for what I asked. I paid for my kids and mine and left. Service 101 you never argue with a customer… I happen to be a general manager for a restaurant and if I ever had a server treat a customer the way she did, they would be gone in an instant. I will absolutely never be back here and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Just look at the other reviews and save yourself the time. On the bright side… KFC was pretty tasty afterwards since some of us were still starving :)

We came in with a group of 11 and we received good service. Surprisingly fast for that large of a table, everyone’s order was right. We had delicious margaritas and the food was great, large portions and nice and hot. Everyday is different but we all had a great experience here.

Great food, great drinks, private, funky building but the food is good and the salsa is quite good.

We wound up at this restaurant last night based on some locals recommendations and we were not disappointed! The service was a little slow but the food was excellent and the manager was so charming singing along with the music. We each had something different and all raved about the food. One of us had the chimichanga dessert and we all tried a bite — pure heaven! The Salsa was so good one of us took it home with them! I would’ve given 5 stars if the service had been a little better!
The women’s restroom stall was very darkly lit and scary!

Well food is great that’s for sure, very very good food and this place have big chance to be high rated Mexican restaurant but… Service sucks. We were waiting about 20min to order food and no one paid any attention :/​we had get up and find someone who could take order.

I really like this place the food is great the portions are huge, the prices are good the service is good, We go here often.

I have to agree with the reviewer that (yikes clear back in 2011) said the bathrooms are scary ! The men’s room has the urinal held up with a unpainted 2×4 and the women’s room has a cavernous stall that is unlit (well there is a light but it casts a dark ominous glow, needs a new ballast?)

Ok Im judging the bathroom first. The womens is downright scary and falling apart. It is scary using it. The food is ok I try to only go when I have a coupon as it’s just not worth full price to me.
