I really want to love a locally owned bar/restaurant, but they really need to step it up. Been here a handful of times and just find everything subpar. Food is okay, blah, nothing special. Appetizers are overpriced, unless on happy hour. The owner/manager who stalks behind the bar is never friendly, doesnt make you feel like a regular customer or very welcome. Some of the bar staff has been very nice, efficient, but it seems like they dont stay there very long. So many restaurants in Woodbury these days, not sure we’ll be back.

We love coming to Carmine’s! I’m really surprised by the ratings on here. We love the chicken Parmesan so much! We wished they sold their sauce so we could take some home. Have never had a bad meal here. It’s a little expensive for what it is but nice, close, fast and casual. They are always really accommodating to us for everything we need and the waitstaff is always very good. We have literally never had an issue.

One and done. Very, very poor experience. Brought our kids here on a week night to give it a try and will never be back. Food is mediocre at best all around and the prices are high for poor quality of food served. Worst part is they charge $ 6 per kids meal and drinks are not included. We ordered 3 milks for our 3 boys and was shocked when the bill came and each milk was $ 3. So a kids meal w/milk is $ 9!!! Unheard of and insane. We brought this up to the manager and said that is so expensive for a kids meal and he was quite snippy was us and didn’t care about what we were saying. We told him that’s why this place is empty and we will be added to the list of people that never come back.

One visit to this establishment. I wasn’t particularly impressed by anything here. Staff seemed nice but not efficient. I give it three stars but the marinara sauce only deserves one. WAYTOOSWEET.

Mostly Packer fans here today(a Sunday), but leave it to the owners«friends» to get mouthy with everyone because they cheer for the Bears. Definitely will NOT be back. Wouldn’t they treat the people that actually PAY for food and drinks better than others! Bartender was a nice guy though.

Deserves a much higher review than the 3 stars it currently has. Great staff, amazing food! Wasn’t expecting that from a restaurant in a strip mall. Try the Rib Eye!

My fiancé and I went to this restaurant on a random weeknight, I think it was a Tuesday and we got some meal special with wine. I got chicken parm and he got lasagna… Our meals came out mysteriously fast considering what we ordered(lasagna typically takes at least 20−30min) and the quality reflected that. Stauffers lasagna is better than what we were served. My chicken was well cooked, but again– the quality of the pasta was poor. I assumed they would have great Italian food, but would not order off the Italian menu if we ever go there again. Service was just fine and the ambience was friendly, but interestingly Mandy Moore was playing when we walked in over the sound system. Not an Italian vibe at all. More like a townie bar with frozen food.

We went there tonight and I had the gluten free Alfredo with shrimp. It was great. Not mushy. I liked it better then Olive garden and it was quieter.

If you go for the American food, you’re ok. Great steak dinner with garlic mashed potatoes is the Monday night special and it’s grilled up perfectly. Buffalo wings are good and so are the deep fried ravioli. The only Pasta dish I would recommend is the Cajun Chicken Pasta– good and spicy. Stay away from the Italian– tastes like Chef Boyardee. Awesome bar tho with lots of TVs and comfy leather booths for watching sports!

Patio seating nice. Flatbread good. Lg Ceasar salad was not very large for $ 10.95, & not noteworthy.

Worst Bolognese I have ever tasted. Extremely sweet and one note. Very disappointing.

The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, unfortunately the food is lackluster. I ordered chicken Parmesan. The pasta was overcooked and the sauce was too sweet. They also smothered the food with too much sauce. The chicken appeared to be something they bought frozen and then reheated. Not impressed… will not return.

The food was definitely okay tasting. We had the fried ravioli for an appetizer, which was fantastic. I had the $ 12 Alfredo dish. That was way to expensive for pasta. The taste was as expected. Nothing amazing. My daughter had the ravioli. Five ravioli hidden in a pond of sauce, $ 11. My husband liked the fries. The service was excellent. All in all, I wouldn’t go back.

Stopped by for a late-night cocktail. Picture this… obnoxiously loud rap music with swearing every other word. Drunk girl passed out at the bar. And it was maybe 10:00 at night? I sucked down my horrible tasting pre-mixed margarita and quickly left… will never be back.

This. should be a 0 star. Ordered Sausage and peppers over pasta to go. * Pasta so over cooked was mush * Peppers scorched and dry. couple actually broke from being burnt so bad. * Onions scorched and there was so many this was a onion dish * 2 pieces of green peppers(yes, scorched) * the bread was ice cold and stale * barely any sauce. 2 tablespoons. 3? and what was there was bad… It was like it came straight from school lunch canned tomato sauce over the mushy noodles and had the scorched taste of everything else. I had 2 bites from parts I was hoping weren’t completely turned to charcoal. yeah… that didn’t work… and yeah… it was bad… This really was a terrible terrible version of what can be a great dish. It was greasy, so so so scorched… I keep saying scorched as burnt just does not equal this. Burnt would be an improvement. The penne noodles were complete mush, and it was all onions. Literally 2 pieces of peppers. Not that it mattered. couldn’t eat it. Oh. the sauce? yesh. also beyond charred and nominal in count. I got this to go as everyone else I was with had eaten before we got here and we had plans. So I get that maybe a «to go» order will get noodles to cook a bit more than a good al dente. but this is all beyond acceptable. Scorched, burnt, blackened, much and worse. Sad part is that I got this to go as was on a time crunch and figured eat quick when got home before next stop… so there I was with that cooked on the sun dish. Guess its PB&J or some fast food drive through. least I know what Im getting. This was not my first visit here or the first food I have had. Previously the food was«ok» but nothing great. maybe 2 star. Greasy apps, bland. Never wrote a review. But after this dish… yeah. 0… *** READTHEHIDDENREVIEWS…

Meatballs were«rubbery», the noodles were over cooked, the sauce didn’t have a taste. Quality does not match the price.

$ 9.95 Steak dinner on Mondays. WORTHIT. Perfectly cooked 6−8oz sirloin, big pile of homemade garlic mashed potatoes, bread, and a big salad. Seriously a good deal. Happy hour deals are great, $ 4 apps and discount beer. Fried ravioli are awesome! Had a work event here recently and had the Chicken Parm… I was struggling to finish it. its HUGE! But most importantly, delicious. As an added bonus, they have Summit Oatmeal Stout on tap! Service is wonderful, family owned joint and it shows.

Do you know what this place is? It’s HONEST! Is the food«authentic Italiano» Not quite. Are there a few misses here and there? Sure, now and then. But these people are so damn sincere about serving good food to good people, that I can overlook a few things. The servers are so friendly and really know the menu, even the seasonal specials. They have all tasted all of the food, and when they recommend something– get it or be sorry! Obviously, sit in the dining room side, not the bar, unless you’re meeting friends for a drink. Order off the seasonal or special menu, unless something on the regular menu catches your eye. The ravioli is almost always a good choice. ASK your server what they recommend if you are wavering between two dishes. Have NEVER been steered wrong here. Get a dessert! Especially whatever fruit dessert that is in season. They have an apple crisp sort of thing that comes out so soft, hot, cinnamony and perfect that it makes me want to weep. They just care about people. I have no better way of saying this. I’ve never met the owners(I don’t think) but they are A-OK in my book. They even have a special on Sunday nights for people in the restaurant/service industry– show your badge/paycheck and get a FREE drink and a special price on spaghetti. They also have a few gluten free options, but I don’t mess around with that kind of stuff, so can’t tell you if it’s any good or not. All I know is, go there, ask what the best thing on special is, and get a dessert.

I’m more at 2 ¾ stars… convenient parking, the space was casual with an open feel, service was attentive, but not hovering. The background music wasn’t overly loud, the bar area looked like it would be a fun place to hang out — plenty of TV’s! My lasagna was super cheesy, and odd it’s coming from me, but it was a bit much. Their red sauce is thick and I’m guessing it’s fennel that was a predominant flavor. Different, but I liked it. Their version of tiramisu was a bit closer in consistency to a cheesecake, not the fluffy version I am used to. It did enjoy it though!
