Ive always enjoyed this store in the old Echelon Mall. Theres a pretty big selection, great seasonal & holiday items and I love all the colorful candy wrappers, toys and Smidgen choices in their cute boxes!
The employees are almost always pleasant and of course, free samples rule!
You usually get coupons on your receipts too.
Their chocolate is smooth and tasty and darn good for a franchise in a mall!

I LOVE Gertrude Hawk. I was first introduced to them while in the Scranton PA Area about 10 years ago. Then, when they came around this area, I was so happy. Their chocolate is just plain yummy. I put it right up there with a Hershey bar (the classics are the best sometimes). Their ‘Smidgens” are little solid chocolate bites or filled chocolate bite sized poppers. I adore the caramel ones personally. They usually have different themed Smidgens for the different holidays throughout the year. Their chocolate covered strawberries are great too. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is the fact that they’re a bit pricey. But, if you want to treat yourself to some good chocolate, go get some!
