Marshalls

In the commercial oasis of Deptford, you’ll find this Marshalls nestled in a hidden, desolate and aging strip mall. It’s weird and dated and eh.
I was on a mission to find a new dress and they didn’t have a single dress in stock. It was surprising! I guess they don’t carry dresses? Or maybe they do and I just couldn’t find them. Aside from a hawk-​eyed security guard (don’t go tryin’ to shoplift here!), I didn’t see store staff while I searched the racks. Mission failed.
Otherwise, the store seemed organized in the typical Marshall’s way with the same deals you’d expect from the chain. I’d stop back in, but my preference goes to the Moorestown location since it’s attached to a HomeGoods and located in a way less creepy strip mall.

This place is always pretty clean in comparison to other discount chains. The employees are pretty helpful and things are not thrown all over the floor in the dressing areas. I like the fact that TJ Maxx and Marshalls are owned by the same company. The reason being, is that if I see something in one store and it’s slightly damgaed or chipped, I can go right down the strip center and go in the other place and find the same exact item at the same price. these are my two favorite places to splurge during some good old fashioned retail therapy. You get a lot of bang for your buck. They also have great spice/​snack section. The cookies, cakes and other snacks are never expired and are always tatsty. Not sure why most of them find their way into a discount chain, but I also don’t care because I’m paying less than I would at a gourmet place. Yay. Go Marshalls :)

Right next door to tjmaxx this location has been here for about a year or so.
Did some driving the other day to visit a friend and discovered this hidden mall strip behind a bunch of trees. Originally this mall strip didn’t have much shops it was more for Kaplan studies and test takers to come but now it has changed. For the better if I may add.
The store is huge and has a «mega shoe» selection printed on the windows. Looks to me like any other Marshall’s with their shoe selection maybe I am missing something…
Either way I am not surprised to find great selections as usual and the prices are excellent. The customer service can improve a bit more when it comes to being helpful with a price check.
Other than that place is clean nice and organized. Will come back again!
