I’ve been going to Mead Optometry for 16 years and I LOVE them! Never ever have I felt even the slightest bit uncomfortable. Everyone is so personable and honest and they explain every piece of equipment and test in detail. I see Dr. Mead, who is fantastic, but I’ve seen Dr. Shara who is also really great. When choosing frames they’re always very honest about what looks good and what doesn’t. If you’re looking for a great optometrist’s office, this place is seriously great.

Dr. Mead has been my optometrist since I started wearing glasses in 5th grade. Their family-​owned practice has been a pillar in the Woodbury community for years. I’ve purchased several pairs of frames from them over the years and numerous boxes of contacts. Contacts are usually ready the next day and the turn around on the frames is fast too. I’ve recently moved to Boston MA, but I still pay them a visit when I’m in town, to check out new frames and to catch up. It doesn’t hurt that they are a few doors from Yang’s — my favorite Chinese restaurant in the world!
