I have visited this MedExpress location a few times. Once I was bitten by a stray cat and needed a rabies and tetanus update. I was very happy with the Dr. and my care. The second visit I had an issue with my foot, and a sore throat. The Dr. refused to even look at my foot. He told me I had to see a podiatrist. He looked in my mouth, and tested for strep. He literally spent 1 min in the room with me, then prescribed cough medicine?!? On my way out of the building I saw dirty latex gloves on the ground outside of the vestibule. Also, the staff at the front desk were on the phones the whole time. I won’t be going back here again since there is a new Urgent Care that opened further down Rt. 45.

Wow, what a nice alternative to the ER. I couldn’t get in to see my primary doctor quick enough & didn’t really need to go to the ER, per say, so I decided to go here. Friendly, quick & helpful! I would recommend this place highly!

Do you have young kids? Does your pediatrician have limited hours? If the answer is yes, then bookmark this place! I think MedExpress is greatly needed for semi-emergency healthcare in a busy world where moms & dads both work long hours & people in general work crazy hours. The hours are super convenient, open 9 – 9 every single blessed day of the year except Christmas & Thanksgiving(I think). The co-pay will run you a little higher than your normal dr. visit, but it’s a hell of a lot cheaper & faster than an ER visit. For example, our baby was running a high fever on a Friday evening with no chance of going to the pediatrician until 10 am Monday at the earliest. He has a history of bad ear infections, so waiting until after the weekend was out of the question. We ran over to MedExpress at 8 pm on a Friday, no appointments needed. $ 50 co-pay & less than an hour later, we were at CVS with a prescription for antibiotics. A total life-saver. Again, this fills the gap between your regular doctor’s office hours & unnecessary ER visits. It’s urgent care at its best, considering the lack of competition to date in the Woodbury area.
