Studio 240

What a gem hiding in Woodbury. I was a first time client with Arielle, I went in knowing what I did and didn’t want but not sure how to get it into a style, Arielle knows what she’s doing and I’m just so pleased with what she did, she also explained product to me that really made a difference with my hair. I left with a beautiful updated bright hairstyle (& didn’t have to go right home & restyle it, I have a feelings some girls will know what I mean). I will be back (already scheduled my next appointment). I was also able to witness the amazing transformation Arielle’s business partner did on a client from waist length hair to shoulder length, it was stunning, her client was gorgeous.

I had a great experience at Studio 240 with Alana. Not only is the shop cute and clean, but the owners are super friendly and good at what they do. I love my cut, I got approximately 4 – 5 inches chopped off, and Alana gave me a great style that’s easy to work with. Exactly what I wanted!

I don’t get my hair done much but when I do I go here. They are super nice and efficient. Prices are very good too.

I like giving local stores my business as much as possible, so I decided to try Studio 240 last year (2014). After my 1^st visit there I never went back to my other salon! Arielle is great! I went to Studio 240 for the first time today to get my hair cut and colored and the experience was so much better than I could have imagined. Arielle was super friendly and accommodating. She really took the time to make sure that my hair looked perfect and you could tell that she really enjoyed what she was doing. She transitioned my hair from a frumpy faded brown to a sleek brown with blonde highlights.
The salon was very clean, open, and bright which I really enjoyed. I was also offered coffee, water, and magazines which I thought was very sweet. I will definitely be a regular client at Studio 240 from now on. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

When it comes to my curls, I’m a bit of a diva. I rarely get my hair done since my hairdresser of 5 years moved away. I was referred to Alana and I couldn’t be happier.
Lets start with the studio. They call it a studio of «funk and grace» and I get why. The mix of local art and classic hard wood floors nails that idea. The studio has a trendy feel that doesn’t make you feel out of place. They even offer you coffee!!!
But the hair? Ok, again I’m pretty particular about who touches my locks but Alana has the knowledge and confidence to back up her skill which makes me feel totally at ease. The results have been wonderful. Since opening the shop, I’ve gotten hair cuts, blow outs and last week I got it styled for a wedding. Alana added a conditioning treatment that brought my hair back to life. I got massive amount of compliments and felt so great that she’s even doing my hair for my wedding. It feels good to have another stylist I can trust again.
Curly girls: If you’re struggling to find a stylist that works for you, stop wasting your time and see Alana. I’ve spent too long only looking for Deva Curl specialists and as much as I love Deva Curl I’m just so happy I have to look no further than Studio 240.

This is a gem! Arielle and Alana are knowledgeable, trendy, and just generally fun to explain dream hairstyles to. The revolving art gallery is interesting to look at while you wait for magic to happen! A must-​try for a local hair-​do!
