Zimmerman’s Bulk Groceries

I don’t live in PA, but every time we go to visit the family we have there, we make sure to stop in at Zimmermans! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the selection is wonderful!
Spices are abundant, but just the beginning! Different flavors of chocolate chips (my favorite is the raspberry dark chocolate and the mint ones), very large blocks of chocolate for candy making, a wide array of sanding sugars, seasonal and standard sprinkles for cookies and cakes — my favorite aisle, and that’s only the first row! Lol! Soup mixes, many kinds of chips, pretzels, candy, snacks, cereals… They really cover all the bases!
And then there is the deli meat counter!!! Smoked pork chops, fresh jerky, fabulous bacon, and the best Lebanon Bologna I think I’ve ever eaten!
Prices are fabulous (like $ 1.19 for a good 2 cups of flax seed) and there are always some unusual treats to be found.
Well worth the visit! I highly recommend checking them out!

This is a great Mennonite grocery store on the back roads of Bedford/​Blair counties. They offer an amazing selection of Bulk Spices and Baking Supplies that are hard to come by at your big box grocery stores. They also offer some really great snack mixes such as yogurt trail mix, spicy trail mix, sea salt bagel chips, and lots of mixed nuts. These type of places are the little treasures that dot the back roads of America that are great to support… And the smell of the spices when you walk in is wonderful. Check this place out it’s worth the stop… and they accept credit/​debit cards.
