Avoid this business. Contract directly with service provider. Rob will not actually do anything and his sub-​contractors just do as they please with no oversight. Be prepared to micromanage.

I bought my home in Englewood about 2 years ago and needed some big repairs done to the house since I bought it on a short sale. Contacted RJT and they came the same day to give me an estimate. I chose them because Rob was very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and offered alternatives on how to get the work done. I had to add some walls and add a closet but I would have had to pay a lot more with other contractors from the prices they were giving me. The work was done in an efficient manner and looks great! Worth every penny!

I recently purchased a home in Short Hills, NJ and was looking for a high quality contractor to do significant work throughout my house. I chose RJT because of their strong reference list, and the enthusiasm/​trustworthiness of its owner, Rob Tell.
We took bids from a few other contractors, but honestly, many of them were dismissive, or inaccessible. Rob showed up on time, was well educated, has a clear and demonstrable resume from top tier educational institutions, and most of all, was willing to teach me, not tell me, what needed to be done.
The scope of our project was as follows:
— Renovated full bathroom
— Ripped out 3,000 sqft of flooring, and replaced with new hardwoods
— Painted entire house interior
— Replaced lighting in 7 rooms in the house, including putting in new overhead lights
The team was extremely attentive and communicative. Rob continued to be strong throughout the process, always texting or emailing me back immediately.
Most importantly, my wife was happy, because she really liked Rob’s down to earth perspective. I’m really happy with how everything looks and delighted with a job well done.
