Fresco Tortillas

Absolutely horrible food. Of course you don’t expect much from tex mex places but it’s inedible now. Fresco changed ownership and the new owners have cheaped out to the worst degree. The chili swings more towards «this might be dog food» and the nachos are soggy. Chicken is chewy and hard to eat. Avoid!

This restaurant is clean, quiet and good service, friendly people. Have awesome tacos, I don’t understand why people think it’s bad to have Chinese and Mexican foods both in one restaurant, I think it’s really creative and fun, and more people should check this place out.

I ordered a steak special which is my usual at any yummy taco. The food look fresh and was warm but the meat was so little. I also had a huge nerve in the meat so i barely ate it. Its not bad but i wouldnt go again. Dont like that its half mexican– half chinese food.

All i have to say is stick to chinese. I was excited about this place and bought a few things to sample. Utter disappointment. Chinese side good, mexican side bad. Dont mix it up and fail… Keep one and prosper.

The food was just okay, there’s nothing special about this place at all. It just so happens one day I had a massive craving for tacos and Mexican pizza. So I went to Unilocal and I looked at the menu. Do you know that I ordered a chicken Mexican pizza and they sent me the ground beef instead? I think the food is way overpriced for the quality of food, which is really not worth ordering from this place at all. My sister and kids ordered food at the same time, and they thought that there was nothing special about this place too.
So if you have a craving for tacos or mexican pizza do not order from this place, like I said only ordered from this place because it nearby.

A Chinese spot that does Mexican as well. They’re Mexican food is «bleh». The food is greasy the cheese is bland and they don’t give enough salsa. That being said if you’re looking for a simple and straightforward quesadilla for cheap, it not too bad. Personally, I rather just make my own after eating here.

So I was dying for Mexican food, but since moving to Ozone Park I hadn’t ordered any, and had the sinking feeling that I was not going to find a place that delivered. Luckily I did a online search on my now dead iPhone and found Fresco Tortillas, thanks Steve Jobs! I ordered way more stuff than I should have but somehow it arrived quickly and was fresh and super yummy. It’s not real Mexican food but if you want fajitas and don’t feel like going to Roosevelt Ave. for something authentic they have you covered. Ozone Park is limited when it comes to delivery of anything other than Pizza or Indian food, so I’m not going to complain.

Mmmm… chinese vegetables in a tortilla … lol While I’ve never tasted their mexican food (besides the mexican pizza which was pretty gross but the bf seemed to enjoy) I must say, I’m impressed with the chinese food. Then again I’m not exactly the most adventurous eater. (So it’ll be a quick breakdown.)
Chicken and broccoli — Good (Can’t really mess that up though)
Beef lo mein — Yum! I was (pleasantly) surprised for whatever reason.
Peppersteak and onions– Haven’t had it in a long time but it was good from what I remember. Then it started getting kinda weird…
Sesame Chicken — Good
Spring rolls — Good
Green Plantains– Good
Free soda w $ 10+ splurge– Good
So, basically Mexican menu bad. Chinese menu good. And I’ve never had problems with delivery.

I order from this place on a regular bases. This is like a McDonald’s for Mexican food. The quality of the food is very good and fresh in my experience. I only do the take out and order in advance. This is a franchise business and I don’t think they set their own prices.
