I been going here for years, noticing how bad and good this place has become so finally I write my review. The place was renovated about 1.5 years ago and that means new management came through. The place got better; more sushi, better hibachi options and more and more food options when I keep going. I would say overall this place is a decent buffet place. The food can be hit or miss when it comes down to eating whats out but I tend to eat sushi and hibachi the most. I would say the sushi tastes good, way better than grocery stores but not as good as sushi bars. However, the hibachi is great; fresh food and they give you great service. Service is what you would expect from a buffet place; pick up plates, provide drinks and thats it. I would say dessert is hit or miss as well but I do like the ice cream and the cookies when they are not overcooked. The egg rolls have been consistently good here so I always have one of those everytime I visit. My parents miss the seaweed salad but they tend to enjoy everything else. I would rate it a 4, not fantastic but not bad either. I like the family that owns it and I will continue to keep going back.

This was my usual spot but noticed it going down hill. The rice is usually hard or dry. The sushi is ok but nothing to get hype about. Anything else I’m terrified to eat because it looks like it’s been sitting out for hours and just not sanitary. After last week I will never return again. I decided to try my luck with the rice and what did I find in there? A COCKROACH! It was buried in the middle dead on it’s side. So I instantly put my plate down, scooped it out of the rice, and placed the roach on the outside of the rice so everyone passing by could see how disgusting and unclean this run down place is. You bet your ass I advised management and i left without having to pay. But be warned that you are eating from a place that is clearly unsanitary and infested with roaches since they appear in the food. GROSSANDSHAMEONTHEM!

Meh. I’m not a huge fan of buffet restaurants in general — the food tends to be gross after sitting out for hours at a time. Yet my family loves them, so I make the trip out there once in a while. Grand Buffet II is on par with other Chinese buffets — meaning, it’s not very good. The salad bar was wilted and gross; the dim sum, normally my favorite, was overcooked and chewy from sitting out too long. Definitely not worth your time or money.

Now called the Habichi Buffet. Typical nasty«Chinese» buffet with a few extra bells and whistles. Definitely not the worst Chinese buffet in the area. Huge array of choices, and some people are going to prefer certain things over others. The cook to order Mongolian style bar is kind of neat, and the nearly gas station sushi is at least being made on site and not trucked in.(All you can eat sushi is like going to the casino, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose) The cold bar with fruit and peel-andeats is nice, but avoid the oysters, even in months with an «R». The deserts are attractive, but all taste like cardboard. And they finally started charging extra for the water-logged snow crab. When it was supposedly included in the price you could count on paying for it and never getting it because there would always be one table full of home slices lined up waiting to take the entire tray of hot crab legs back to their table. I’ve spent as much as 90 minutes waiting for a crab leg to no avail. The best deal is to go at lunch time. Also, if you’re with a senior citizen, don’t forget to check that they charged senior prices or they never do. Wear non-slip shoes because the floor is a grease slick.

Now called Hibachi Buffett, I guess to make it sound like the higher end Habachi Grills, but it is basically just a chinese buffet. No better or no worse than any other ones. I tried 3 or 4 different items labeled chicken, such as sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, etc. None of them really tasted too much like chicken which bothered me. I kind of stuck with the shrimp items afterwards. The noodles and fried rice items were acceptable. Did not like their desserts for the most part. Looking around the place as I was leaving, it looked like most of the diners had been extras on that Honey Boo Boo show. That made me laugh until I realized that I was one of those diners!

Hibachi grill is Newly named… but the food we witnessed was the same old ROTTEN S#}^tT!.terrible food. It was tasteless, Luke warm, OLD looking, sometimes unlabeled and non-aromatic mystery? stuff?! Even the cheesecake tastes like cardboard(we had to request that they Re stock the dessert table…) oops, we shouldn’t have bothered! We were Hoping to salvage our evening out.

The nicest Chinese buffet I’ve been to. They serve sushi, have a monogilian BBQ, salad bar, soup, appitizers, regular bar. So as far as Chinese buffet it’s not bad considering all the others I know some people try to make there reviews comical instead of honest so to all those comedians not sharing a fair review, I really have to disagree

I was happy when we first went here but the last time was awful. There was hardly any food on the buffet. They refused to put out cocktail sauce out for the shrimp even after many people asking them to. There were not any bowls out. We complained to management and were told that is was not their problem. I will not be back. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Call an ambulance, get the stretcher, pump out his stomach! He’s having a no taste attack! This is serious! Hook up an IV!!! I think you get the picture. This is not just your typical buffet. It’s attrociuos. Everything I ate tasted the same. It was tastless and odorless, no wait, there was an odor, I’m just not sure what it was. The only reason I am giving it one star is because the chocolate ice cream saved a 0 star rating. No rating for service since it’s a buffet.

No matter how far I travel… Asian buffet places are all the same! 1.5 stars for making us feel like we never left California.
