Cesar in the grooming department handed me (a client) a spray bottle with cleaner and paper towels after my dog had an accident on the floor. Really? He was obviously perturbed that he didn’t get to handle my female dog that has issues with men over my male dog. Sorry she is scared of men and I didn’t think to mention it. But a customer should not be made to clean up in a store that services animals.
The situation could have been handled a lot better and he should get an attitude adjustment.
Also, my male dog has been there 4 times and each time they fail to create a profile for him. So I get to stand there for 15 minutes with two over excited dogs while they «do it again».
I’ve had enough being treated like crap going into their grooming salon. I’m done taking my dogs there for their nail trims. I’ll take them elsewhere for that from now on.

Miserable service! Every time they trim my dog its a different cut. Very difficult to get an appointment and the last one I made for a bath, nails and a haircut, when I got there all they had him booked for was a bath and did nothing to try to work him in. They suck!

We took our 5 month old labradoodle to the Pet-​smart hotel in Woodinville for the weekend. I was terrified to leave her. But the people at the cute ‘hotel’ desk really made me feel reassured. We booked her play times, her treats, and her grooming. When we returned I was so delighted to see how happy she was, see how much fun she had, and how wonderful they treated her. We got a ‘Pawgress report’ (HA!) about all her activities. I’m SO thrilled to know we have a safe and welcoming environment for our dog. We will return many times I’m sure. Thank you Pet-​smart, it meant everything to feel comfortable leaving our baby. Finally, we can travel again knowing she will be safe. And SO affordable we couldn’t believe it. What a great find!!! Happy customers.

This review is for the daycare. We’ve brought our dog here three times, and I would only bring her back if we were desperate. The space is small and overcrowded. There’s one staffer amidst the dogs, who half-​heartedly squirts dogs in the face if they bother other dogs. The staffer doesn’t appear to interact otherwise with the «guests.» There’s no room to toss a ball, anyway. I would worry that someone would get trampled in the stampede.
Another deficit: when they first introduced our pup into the mob, there was no gradual introduction. She was simply placed into the swarm. Which meant that she was surrounded by about twenty curious, crowding, sniffing dogs, both larger and smaller than she is. I stayed for a few minutes to watch, and it was painful to see her overwhelmed like that. We’ve been to two other daycares, and they both had constructive ways to introduce a new dog to the pack.
Two pluses: the daycare rooms are visible to observers: one through glass, and one on a tv monitor. And the fees are less expensive than most, and should be.

Huge shout out the Petsmart in Woodinville. We bought our hamster there just over a week ago. After her untimely passing, they were super sweet with helping my son to find a very tame and sweet girl. He got to hold her and pet her beforehand. They treated him like he was the most important person in the store and he appreciated it so very much — and I do, too. This, alone, was enough to please me as a custome.
They even took it one step further. We were picking out a new cage (so that we could keep this hamster separate from the other hamster’s littermate at home) and our way back to the check out when they stopped us. They asked the store manager if they could give us one complimentary that they had overstock of complimentary. We just needed to buy the water bottle, bowl, and a wheel. So sweet!
Businesses and their employees which show such compassion and kindness during what was a really rough day for my son will always have my respect, my business, and whatever power my word of mouth can provide. It may not have cost them much, but it sure meant a lot to us. Good people really are still out there.

This grooming salon has gone down hill fast! I have been bringing my dog here for 5 years. NEVER had a problem… but this time (my last) has been nothing but a Hassel… one person called in the afternoon to cancel my apt. and in the evening a different person calls to conform apt. So I thought ok… maybe they figured it out… cool I will take her… the next morning I get another call canceling my apt… an hour before it was scheduled. So rescheduled a week out… finally get her in and the staff (all new) Is very rude. I made a comment… and was informed… «we have had a high turn over of staff cause of the new system here… no one likes it» …i talked to the manager… she was nice enough… but unfortunately she isn’t in the salon… and the ones that are, are rude… The new staff has no clue about customer service or what that even means… when they told me it would take 4 HOURS to groom her… i was shocked… it always only took 2.5 hours max… this place is a mess. AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM to anyone. So sad to have to find a new groomer after so many years…

Picked up my doggie from the hotel. He had also spent a day at doggie day camp.
He seemed calm and he wasn’t freaked out when I peered into the doggie camp area when I walked in.
Check out was quick. They have complimentary doggie treats which my doggie gladly gobbled up. All is forgiven and he’s happy again.

Grooming salon is completely disorganized at all times. They won’t allow appointments for services like nail trims and the wait times for walk in services like this is over an hour! Who has the time to walk their dogs around a pet store for an hour?!? Tried calling several times before we came in to try and set something up and was told they were overstaffed and ready to take us only to go into the store and be told they were understaffed and couldn’t take us for over an hour. This was the third time this has happened! Taking my business elsewhere.

Clean store and good selection of inventory. The store is well maintained and has very pleasant staff. Tofu, our Shih Tzu, enjoys coming here.

Rude Staff!!!
I came here tonight to exchange my dwarf frog that had died two days ago for a new one. I walked up to the counter in the fish section since there were two employees standing there and said «Hi!». They both glanced at me and without saying anything continued what they were doing. After standing there for a few seconds longer one of them *finally* asked me if I need help. I explained why I was there and then one of the girls with black frames and blond hair handed me some paper work. When I explained again why I was there she looked at my receipt and said that she couldn’t do the exchange because I had bought my frog at the Aurora Petsmart. When I asked for an explanation she squinted at me and said «its our store policy». It was clear to me she had no idea and didn’t care.
To the cashier who «helped» me, if you think this is how you treat customers your not going to get very far with any job you have.

First time here, took my dog in for grooming and a nail trim. Dropped him off and everything went smoothly. Came to pick him up and wasn’t that excited with the end results of the haircut. Hair was cut in straight lines you could see around the face and ears. On top of that my dog has razor burns on the underbelly parts. Definitely not worth paying $ 45 for grooming and $ 12 for nails for results like these, when coming to a professional grooming store.

This is only for the fish department. First I came here to get a good deal on some shoaling fish for my community tank. The fish department is sad to say the least. Every Betta looked miserable and stressed in ammonia filled cups. Essentially a deathbed. I would rescue some but all my bio tanks are called for with nano fish, shrimp or rescue Bettas. As for the rest of the fish the prices are ridiculous for some basic fish like tetras or danio. Not to mention all of these fish look very poorly taken care of. I’m giving them an extra star for having a little more variety than petco and actually having a little more variety! Such as some of the freshwater crabs that not even some of the better fish stores in the area have. One thing and I will end on a positive note is that every fish has a «level» of care E. G: beginner, easy, intermediate etc so owners know what they’re getting into. The aggression levels are also stated. I don’t see myself shopping here for fish. But who knows I might come in if I have free tank space and save one of these miserable fishes.

These are super nice customer service employees. I have never any interaction at this store other than retail purchases (ie. no grooming or vet care), however, I always feel appreciated and welcomed (seriously), when i shop here for pet needs. Employees seem genuinely happy to be here and to help you out! An added bonus is that it is always a good place to go if you want to pet some cute dogs who happen to be there shopping with their owners.
They have literally everything in this store and carry nearly twice the stock of the pet store in Kirkland on 85^th. I recently went in to buy worms for my robin’s nest outside. To my delight (and unlike Fred Meyer and the bait shop), they had every worm imaginable! I am sure my robins appreciated the hookup!

We used PetSmart’s hoteling and grooming services for years. We moved a year ago and was happy to find PetSmart in Woodinville. During one grooming visit, the groomer found some questionable skin condition in one of our dogs. The groomer sent her directly to the pet hospital inside PetSmart. After vet’s examination, it was tumor. So we take our dog to our own vet for 2^nd opinion and eventually had our own vet performed necessary surgery to remove the tumor. Our dog recovered fully shortly after the surgery.
A few weeks ago, we tried to schedule grooming and hoteling with PetSmart Woodinville, and was turn down. The reason was that we didn’t use their pet hospital. What?! I didn’t know by using their grooming service = must use their pet hospital as well. By the way, the surgery price they quoted us was $ 1500 higher than our vet! $ 1500 higher!!! And their vet told us that our dog would need 3 surgeries, and our vet did it all in 1 surgery.
The silly part was they would take our other 2 dogs, but wouldn’t take the recovered one.
We didn’t go back since.

We came here today hoping to get a cute little hamster for under $ 100 including supplies and we did! The sales associate that helped us was very kind and helpful! She described all the small furry pets for us and what was best suited for us. The winter dwarf hamster was the best! It’s so tiny and cute! :3 we named it Zeus.

This review is for the PetSmart PetHotel ONLY.
Let me start by saying I am a manager (senior) at CA PetSmart location, so I know full well what the policies are and what can be expected from a Daycamp experience. The guest service associate was friendly, but absolutely failed his protocol. My dog was not flea-​combed, was not touched (a physical run-​down is required to assess temperament & any bodily abnormalities), was not even glanced at from over the counter; the specific balding spots I mentioned were ignored and not recorded on the Pet Evaluation, and lastly, my dog was escorted into the backroom WITHOUT a ID tag. Absolutely unacceptable. When I returned to pick him up later that day, I was handed a Pawgress report which wasn’t read to me, wasn’t filled out completely and could have applied to any dog. The final straws: My dog was returned to me without any sign of finishing touches – he didn’t smell great (no cologne) and had several poo streaks on his back thighs. It isn’t the Hotel’s fault that his stools got runny at Daycamp, that’s to be expected for a hyper dog. It IS their responsibility to return the dog in a clean fashion – it’s what the policies are there for. Totally disappointed by seemingly lazy staff. This would not fly in my hotel.

I have been taking my pup to doggy day car and stays at the pet hotel for about two months. I should of realized that when my dog starts shaking when i drop her off it might not be the best place for her. The only reason i have brought her there was for necessity due to moving and going on a vacation. Her stays at doggy day car she seemed tired (probably stressed) so i could pass on the longer evening walk. Also it looks like she never went potty there, since every time after pick up she would have a full bladder pee. The one thing that really irks me is both times she has stayed at there pet hotel is she came back sick.
The first time she came back with kennel cough, she was vaccinated in September! I passed on it figuring hey its like school and she got sick. But after i picked her up this monday (4−20−15) she was extremely lethargic and not herself. Also she has had diarrhea… really bad! Also she has been vomiting the past two days.
I called them and informed them but according to them its noted that your pet might get sick here and they are not responsible if it does. So lucky me i get to pay additional money to have my pup get better.
If you need to have your dog taken car of while your out of town i would recommend
…i will never go her again even with my free doggy day car.
Look elsewhere!

A few months ago, I stopped at this store to buy super worms for my hedgehog named Sebastian and to get a specific type of soft hey for my guinea pig Gandalf. It was the first time I went there to get those items. After searching for a while around the store, so I have no idea where I could get them.
I tried to find help but the only employee available was the cashier and she was busy, so I looked around again and so I young woman (employee) talking on the phone. When I came close to her, she looked at me just walked away from me. I was kind of speechless with her attitude, and she still on the phone talking. After over 5 minutes waiting I just got close to her again and said: excuse me? She: «I am sorry I am with a customer on the phone.» Oh my, at that point I just gave up, got a treat for Gandalf and went to the cashier.
I mentioned to the cashier about what happened and that I still wanted the super worms at least. She just looked at me and before out of no where she left the register!!!
She came back with the super worms and did not say a world!!! I refused to buy it and I just paid and left.
As soon as I got into my car I called the manager and explained to her what just happened. I was so furious that I did not want stay for one more second at the store. This is just unacceptable, rude, and horrible way to treat anyone, especially a customer. She apologized and agreed with me that they should had handle things differently.
The only reason I am not given 1 star is because I went back there twice after the fact and the service was average. Plus, I did not see the 2 stupid women who did that to me. However, the only reason I still going back there is because there is no Petco in Woodinville and it is on my way to school. Otherwise I would not go there anymore

Always find the best deals on food, snacks and toys for my cats. And they have a friendly return policy. Bought salmon cat food but forgot to get the indoor formula — exchanged with no questions or hassle, even without receipt.

Rude, rude. Apparently asking normal questions, i. e when can I drop off and pick up my dog, is way too much for the gal Sally to answer. Responded with a lot of attitude… Baffled how they can stay in business with such rude employees.
