Tasted fresh from the can. Even my taco meat had no seasoning. I only ate enough to stabilize my blood sugar. It’s rare you find a Mexican place offering authentic Mexican hot wings(heh) but even those were under cooked and fatty, the blue cheese dressing they served was positively bubbling and expired.

This place is legit. Awesome happy hour. Price meets the quality of food: excellent. I once ate there 4 days in a row, my wife didn’t like me much but I was super satisfied and coulda went for another day. The cabbage pico you get for free with the salsa and chips is awesome! The owner is super sweet and gets right in there and helps out. She also caters food which I’ve done and she’s super reasonable on cost. Pretty seamless on the whole catering deal. Easy, cost effective and delicious! Bartenders makes a mean margarita too for all you happy hour-lites.

Street tacos are not on the menu, but they exist and are authentic!!! Their salsa verde is amazing too, and not to be missed. Great price and delicious! The staff was incredible and helpful, though not very engaging with first-timer questions, considering it was not very busy. However I definitely recommend and will certainly come back!!!

Our family had been going here for years. The service is always on point and the food oh so yummy! Their salsa is my all-time favorite and everything I’ve ordered has been nothing short of wonderful. The portions are enormous and every meat is cooked to perfection, never too dry! Ask for the«Carlos Special» margarita if you’re looking to get a bit trashed ;)

I don’t know why this place has the double«$$» symbol on their Unilocal page; the prices here are actually pretty cheap for being a restaurant. The food is pretty darn good too! The staff here is super friendly and you can tell they try hard to make your dining experience stress & drama free! The drinks at this joint are also very top notch!!! If you catch my drift!!!

I ate here about a month ago. The food was fantastic and served in large portions, even by my standards. Bartender was engaging, despite it being early on a sunday morning. Décor was above average and the restaurant felt homey. The pre meal chips were great, thick and sturdy. My only complaint was the margaritas we had were very fruity. If I could give this restaurant an extra half star, I would since the atmosphere and food partially made up for the drink.

Generous portions, friendly service, amazing taste to the food. Really good variety of salsa and the shrimp quality was very high! Huge pieces, butterflied and many pieces inside my burrito. Highly satisfied! Very happy we chose to come here and we will definitely be back!

In all, it is a typical Mexican restaurant that you find in the states. The food is solid, certainly not the best Mexican food I’ve had yet flavorful and with a wide selection of dishes. What sets this place apart is the service. The owner and staff are affable, courteous and genuinely want you to have a great experience in their restaurant. Mixed drinks are stiff. The margaritas are much better than average and their Happy Hour offers ½ priced appetizers and great drink specials.

My boyfriend and I’s go-to place for Mexican food! Soooo yummy, super friendly staff, large portions, great drinks, and fast service! Not to mention it’s nice that some of the waiters remember us. We’ve been here many many times over the past year and have nothing but great things to say :)

Have been here a few times now since moving to Woodinville. The service is always excellent, the servers are attentive and very friendly. The food is great and comes out relatively quickly. Everything is always fresh and their pico de gallo is so good! The portions are LARGE! You will definitely have left overs, which is fine by me! Love this place!

Much much better than Mi terra. Best mexican place in the woodenville area. Had a party of 8 and had no problem getting seated on a Friday nght. Server was friendly and fast. Made a mistake on one entrée and just gave it to us for free. Everybody ordered different things and we all liked our foid. Mexican pizza, enchiladas?, tamales, taco salad, and chili relano. It was all good. I recommend this for a good American mexican type place. Obviously not super authentic but better than azteca

If you sit in the bar you are going to have really slow service. The food is pretty good and the pricing is what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. The drinks are good as well but take your time with it because it’ll be awhile before you will get another one. All that being said I go here a fair amount because they are also not very busy at any time I have gone whether it is for lunch during the week or a Friday night you can pretty much always get a booth.

Service was great, very friendly, but the burrito was very bland and had what looked like frozen veggies tucked in it. Honestly below par food.

This would be a 10 star review if not for an employee«encouraging» us out the door with the vaccuum 5 minutes before they closed, when we were about to leave anyway. Ugh. Aside from her(she was not our server), the service was textbook. Prompt, friendly, checked back at appropriate times, etc. The food was fantastic, but most of all… That was the BEST Margarita I’ve ever had! This is now THEONLY Mexican restaurant in Woodinville for me! Hopefully the vaccuum was a one time thing.

We tried this as a new place. I am going to be honest the food was not good. We had two different meals both were greasy. My carne asada was bland and beans were over cooked. The people were very nice and the place is really clean. But we will not be going back.

Fist time we went there I had to send my order back twice before they got it right. The server put the blame on a new cook but the next time we went the same thing happened. Our last visit there I had to send back one of our drinks because the glass it came in wasn’t clean and had something nasty stuck to the outside of it. I find the food average at best and don’t really plan on going back.

Love this place! It’s a family favorite, especially for being in a kinda remote area, would have given 5 stars if it was«authentic» Mexican food, but ya know I’ll take it for its freshness in their ingredients, nice and courteous service that treat you like friends/family! Oh and its pretty tasty! Carne asada and chimimmichangas are faves!

I came here for lunch with my son. The place is clean and bright, the service was great, the time to get our food was good, and my chile relleno was excellent. My son said his chicken mole was the worst he’d ever had anywhere. As a result, this review is sort of a mixed bag. Some very a good with just a touch of not so good. If I had walked in here alone, and just gotten the one lunch, I could easily have given the place four stars. But… I also know that you could come away with an entirely different opinion based on what you’ve ordered. So… three stars it is. And consider getting the chile relleno rather than the chicken mole.

While the state of WA is lacking great Mexican food restaurants, you can still find a few worthy stops here and there, but Plaza Garcia in Woodinville is not one of them. You’ll have plenty of selections here, especially at lunch time when you’re handed not one, not two, but three menus to scan over and make your decision. My first trip here wasn’t memorable. Well wait, yes it was — I remembered that I didn’t like it. I couldn’t tell you what I got. But my most recent trip, I ordered tacos… I’ll just say this… I could have walked over to the nearby Taco Bell and gotten better tacos. Actually, PG’s taco shells tasted like they CAME from Taco Bell. One star for giving beans and cheese to dip your chips into… Oh, and another star for them managing a large group over lunch — thank you!

Big fan. The fresh tortilla chips and spicy salsa awesome. I’ve only been here for lunch, about 6 times, they pretty much have your standard offerings, but I really like their house dish ‘Tacos Garcia’. Consistent preparation, good service, festive mexican décor and music. For lunch you can get out of here for under $ 10 if you just drink water, but I’ll put two $$ since most people get a drink and tip generously, yes? ;)
