I’ve only ordered from this place twice, since there’s only so much salt one needs to buy, but each time the order arrived faster than it takes to fill the salt grinder – and neither time was I even charged for delivery. My last order, for five pounds of salt, was not only priced at the same price as a half a cup of the same salt at the local gourmet market, but I placed the order around 3pm and by 9:30 in the morning it had been delivered to my door. Excellent business!

The best customer service I have ever received… over and over again. I am definitely a regular at this point but even my very first experience was flawless. Their attention to detail, super fast FREE RIGHT NOW shipping… plus their salts are the best quality salts I have ever had — They also do a lot of bulk salt for high end retailers. You make think that your salt is superior and you may be right. Chances are it’s coming from their facility! They inspired me to write my very first review on Unilocal… that’s how pleased I am!

I ordered Halen Mon smoked salt from them. It’s made in Wales and it’s fantastic — I’ve had it before. However the item I received from this company was clearly out-​dated. The salt had no smell or smoky taste. I could see that the expiry date had been removed from the bottom. The container said the salt had won an award in 2007, and they have won awards since and put them on their packaging, so that tells you something as well. When I contacted Saltworks, they refused to do anything. So I’m not a fan of this company. They seem kind of dopey in their emails, too, like they don’t really know their products.

I happened to find this place online when searching for a company where I could get somewhat local sea salt. They offer one from the Pacific Ocean in CA, which isn’t too far from WA, compared to other main sea salts. They also have a great variety of Epsom salts. I love the explanations of each salt and the various amounts you can order them. I am so happy to have found this place, and it is so close to home! The pricing is very reasonable as well.

I recently tried cooking with natural sea salt from Saltworks for the first time and it has made a tremendous difference in the flavor of my dishes. The added benefit is that sea salt is also a healthier option that using table salt.
There are over 10 different infused sea salts that offer a great variety of flavor, from garlic, onion, balsamic to jalepeno, chile verde and thai ginger. I’m in love with their products!
