One star for now until you improve the concern. We’re so excited to try this restaurant for the first time but it’s unfortunate that the service was really bad. This restaurant should hire an attentive and a server who can fast paced serving. The food was really great but improve the service capabilities. Thank you. Like what I have said 1 star for now, I know what a bad and good service is, this is what I do, I promote and support restaurants, if things done right you’ll get the 5 stars. We love to eat out especially to those restaurants that are clean and offers great food, we don’t mind going to an expensive restaurant as long as our experience is pleasant. I’ve been to the most busiest restaurant and even it’s a hole in the wall restaurants and yet they gave great service. Restaurant’s success is not about the food you serve but the service you gave. Thank you. Just add more server that are attentive. But I’ll visit your restaurant again because your food was great.

The service was great! I had the veggie quiche, which was decent. It came with two pieces of bread one was yummy and one was hard, but I ate it. The Belgian hot chocolate was delicious. I asked for the pistachio tart which they were out of so they gave me a mini pistachio pastry which was good. Honestly I think it was a bit too expensive for average tasting food. I may or may not return to try out some pastries.

This is my first time coming here. Wonderful service! Our server was very nice and very attentive. Food was delicious and light. Was not disappointed! Will be coming back here again!

Loved my experience here! Perfectly placed in the Village when you exit the parking area. It has an inviting atmosphere and interior design, very charming! Our waitress was top notch, Francesca, informed us that against common expectation the restaurant is not French but Belgian. There was ample free bread and various delicious spreads readily offered to us. Even the salt-and-pepper were of the luxurious kind. The prices are a little high against your regular breakfast restaurant, but the quality and service and taste of the food makes up for it for sure! I’ll be back :)

The staff here? Super friendly. Our waiter(whose name I didn’t catch) with the blue eyes and short buzzed hair was super helpful, attentive and all-around pleasant. Aaannnd that’s about where the good stuff ends. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs and by the time my food got to me it was lukewarm erring on cold… Which kinda scares me when I’m eating eggs. I also ordered a chocolate croissant and for $ 4.25, I expect is to be warm when it arrives… Not cold. Needless to say, for the price that’s charged? You could get better food elsewhere and I’ve learned my lesson.

I’d give it a 3.5 since I’ve only been here once. I feel like some dishes are too expensive. Like over $ 13 for some gazpacho and avocado toast lol. Is was pretty good just pricey. Plus I left hungry still so wasn’t really worth it for me. I might be back, we’ll see.

Unfortunately, my cup of coffee tasted as bland as it looked. It was as if my cup had been sitting out for more than a few minutes. Look at my picture to see for yourself. For $ 6 I was expecting for it to not only taste good, but look good. Sadly, it was neither. The presentation was horrible, and it tasted awful. The staff was great and very friendly, but I went there for coffee. I wouldn’t recommend going here. It’s a waste of money.

If you’re into organic foods as I am, you’ll love this place. Even my cappuccino is organic — yeah! Furthermore, the staff, including Francesca my waitress were very kind and professional. Thank you and JESUS bless! — Jn 3:17

Such a waste of money. Ordered the bread basket for 13.95 which included a warm not hot cup of coffee, small orange juice. Also included a small choc croissant that was cold and far from fresh, and 3 slices of hard bread that were also far from fresh. Unreal and such a joke. Got the kids the 3 egg scramble and asked for a lil cheddar. They came out cold and I was charged $ 12.95 for these. Lol Never again.

We discovered Le Pain Quotidien a couple months ago… This has become a breakfast/brunch place we regular on Saturday or Sunday mornings when we’re in the mood for a light breakfast and good, quiet atmosphere. We have ALWAYS had really amazing service and the food always comes out piping hot and delicious! I mean, granted, we are always nice, courteous, and grateful to our waiters so that might be why we get particularly good service. Either way though, we have only had excellent experiences here. All of the poor reviews on here are surprising to me because I have never ever experienced any of those things at Le Pain Quotidien. This location needs some more love!

Le Pain location at the Village is pretty cozy and warm. What I like about La Pain, they have several veggie and vegan dishes. I came here on a weekday for lunch, so they weren’t busy and they provided a decent service. I was craving for avocado so I got avocado toast for my lunch. This dish tasted good but the small amount of avocado dissatisfied me. If I ever get this dish again I will ask for«extra avocado»!

Very disappointed with this visit. A server had to find the host to seat us, and we were put in the far corner near the garage(outside). We were with a toddler so I understand. The server took a while to take our order(out of fairness, did come by once when we weren’t ready), but disappeared so it took about 20 minutes to finally place an order. We ordered a pudding, gazpacho, sandwich(all cold items), plus a quiche. After about 40 minutes of no food and no server in sight, we asked to have it wrapped up as we could no longer take the wait. Someone(the manager?) said it was ready. Now it’s ready, when we finally have to go inside and ask about it? It was packed up and she discounted the ticket. The server reappeared to collect the check and mumbled«sorry for the wait» as he walked away. We brought it home, and this quiche had clearly been sitting out a long while. At nearly $ 15 an entrée I expect better service and better food. My suggestion is to get rid of the table service and just have people order at a counter and give us a number. Two stars for cleanliness.

Yum. Who doesn’t love pastries?! Stopped in as I saw the pastry display from outside, so glad I came in. My ultimate favorite puff pastry is a cheese Danish. Purchase the last 2 in the display window, which were so delicious! Also purchase an apple turnover and almond tart, both really good. Customer service was lacking right when we arrived, but were able to help us after the rush slowly died down. This place is well known for breakfast, but we briefly stopped in for the pastries which are tasty. Great outdoor seating, especially on a beautiful day as today. Stop By For some yummy pastries!

I wanted to like this place much better than I did, and while you see 3-stars, that’s just average in my book. Three stars on Unilocal translates to «A-OK,» but in my book, honestly, it just means okay. If I owned a food establishment of any kind and got 3 stars, I’d be upset. If I didn’t care about the quality of my food, sure«okay» sounds good, but for me, not so much. I really liked the Gazpacho soup I ordered. It was definitely 4 stars. Lovely cold tomato flavor with fresh, crunchy diced veggies that graced the top of the soup. Just how I like it. To the contrary, however, their minestrone soup that hubby ordered had no real flavor, and it didn’t even come out that warm(that always bothers me when soups come out lukewarm). Did they just skim off the top? Did they not heat it through altogether? One never knows, and I don’t want to know. I would have sent it back, but it was my husband’s soup, so it was his problem. Both soups came with a slice of their artisanal bread. No butter, no olive oil, just the bread, which typically happens to be a very hard crust and on the dryish side. Nothing wrong with that, per se, but it needed something, again, like olive oil for dipping or perhaps a little butter. We stole a bottle of olive oil from a neighboring unoccupied table, so it was fine in the end. As for the sandwiches we ordered, my husband’s sandwich(Paris Ham and Gruyère Cheese) was dry, he said. I don’t eat ham, so I didn’t want to try any, but it was like one slice of cheese and one slice of ham. That was not how I’d make a sandwich. Put a bunch of meat on it, melt the cheese through, and it’d better have some kind of spread on it to keep it moist… definitely NOT mustard in nature like this one was. Also, when all was said and done, it was still dry to him. There were no vegetables on it, either. I would have hated it all the way around. Now my sandwich. I ordered the Turkey and Avocado Tartine, which is a Belgian-style open-faced sandwich. Okay, sounds good to me. Yet(sigh), I absolutely hated it. Granted, it’s just me and my taste preferences(I can’t like everything in life). There was some very offensive flavors in it, and while I tried to deconstruct the sandwich to see what it was(I knew it wasn’t the avocado, turkey, tomato or lettuce, but on the bottom was something I didn’t recognize). So I re-read the menu and told the waiter(who was very sweet and kind) that I thought it was the«tomato salsa.» I asked that it be removed and then asked what could be put in its place as a spread to add moisture to otherwise very dry bread. He said«herb mayo,» to which I told him to put it on the side in case I didn’t like that. He brought it back, and since there were so many small pieces of ingredients, I spread the herbed mayo over the top of the sandwich instead of removing everything and spreading it onto the bread. I ate one complete section(there were 4 in total), and I STILL kept tasting this offensive flavors, sour in nature, which was still strong enough to overpower anything good about it. After eating the one piece, I pulled everything off again and saw this weird looking spread(not the herb mayo and not the tomato salsa), but seed-like in nature and definitely wet looking, and I called the waiter over and asked, «What’s this?» He didn’t seem too sure of the ingredients, but I heard something about«cumin seeds or salt.» I don’t know what all it was, but I know it wasn’t listed on the menu in the sandwich’s ingredients, and I know it was moist, and I know I didn’t like the sour flavor it gave, exactly as in the first sandwich made. Enter my annoyance. Why wasn’t it, whatever it was, NOT listed on the menu of sandwich ingredients? Everything else was… why not that? Why not give the patron a chance to see it, question it, take the time to ask if it could be removed? Instead, it’s not listed, I didn’t know(and neither did the waiter, it appeared), and yet, it was there both times… and it was on my husband’s mustard spread, too, now that I think about it. What I saw the first time was the tomato salsa with that other stuff mixed in unbeknownst to me. The fact that I didn’t like it is on me. I fully expected to be charged and was willing to pay for it. The waiter asked his manager to remove the charge, which I thought was very nice, albeit unnecessary. What I do think is that they should revise their menu to reflect exactly what ALL ingredients are. Seriously. It really irks me when this happens, and unfortunately, this restaurant is not alone with leaving things out. What harm would it cause to list all of the ingredients if they are bothering to list some? What if someone is allergic to some of the minor ingredients? That’s just so wrong to leave items out… and for no reason. For me, the gazpacho soup is not enough of a reason to return here. It’s just not my preferred style of food, but I’m glad I tried it.

This new LPQ location has got to be my favorite when it comes to service! The manager was constantly checking on us to make sure we loved our food and we did. Food came out very quickly as well, much faster than other locations. I loved my lentil salad as well as the quinoa cake, both full of flavors, light but still filling. Prices are a bit high, but given the quality and care they put in each product I think it is well worth it. Love their spreads and bakery items as well. The bread is fantastic, some of the best in the area! Great addition to the Village and a perfect start to the day!

Le Pain is always yummy. I like a lot of their organic choices. I mostly go for their speculoos cookie butter and chia muffins. They have a wide selection of pastries. This was definitely a great add for The Village. The workers are so nice.

Disappointing. Late Sunday morning and wanted some breakfast where the four of us could sit outside with our two puppies — this was pretty much the only option, but it looked good apart from the fact that we had to sit in the shady area along the side of the place. Probably a good location in the summer but on an abnormally cold Sunday in late November we were glad we dressed in a couple of layers. First disappointment was that servers repeated sauntered by with no greeting, smile or the slightest intent to serve us. Finally had a grab a young man who simply said that they were«slammed» right now(with several empty tables and girls sauntering around aimlessly — really? So we embarrassed him into reluctantly taking our order. Started with taking drinks and my daughter(remember it was cold) asked for hot chocolate — they were out of hot chocolate — really?! On we go with ordering, an OK Cobb salad, an OK frittata and I had the toasted ham and Gruyère sandwich. I ate half of it, found the bread«meh» compared to my high expectations based on their name and the ham way to salty for my taste but OK I guess. Then looked at the second half and decided to open it — virtually empty — an 1⁄8th inch sliver of ham and no cheese. Hmmmmmm. I have a picture but it is too ugly to post! Called over a manager who took it off the bill(otherwise this would have been a one star for sure). I guess they had a bad day, but probably won’t be giving them a second chance :(. She offered me a free half sandwich of something else but the rest of the family had finished so didn’t take her up on that.

(+) Avocado toast. Just try it. I was skeptical at first, and yes maybe I could make some poor man’s version of it at home but I really enjoyed it for breakfast. (+) French food is just so indulgent and delicious. Even the scramble eggs were so buttery and fluffy. (+) Great location by the escalator, central to The Village and nice outdoor seating. (-) Service was very slow. Is that the«Le Pain»? Got seated quick but waited for long periods thereafter to order and to be checked on. Asked for something from the server, waited awhile and didn’t show. Were seated outside so physically got up to request it again but from someone else working inside, they said ok, came back and waited… still nothing. This was a Saturday morning, a little busy but not too crazy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (-) $$$ in my opinion but c’est la vie

Great breakfast place– we had French toast and avocado toast that was delicious! The service is friendly and prompt and the atmosphere is very comfortable. It can get VERY crowded so I would go during off hours.
