Let me start out by saying that they have always been nice to my dog which is very important to me. I have been taking my dog here for the last two years and it seems like the last few times I’ve gone there has been an issue. This last time was the final straw for me. I had a 9:30 am appointment this last Saturday and when I got to the store no one was there. I proceeded to stand outside the store for the next half hour. Finally at 10 am the groomer showed up. She tried telling me that my appointment was at 10 am. I had somewhere to be around that time so I know that the appointment was not at that time. I was the first appointment of the day, yet it still took almost 4 hours to finish grooming my 13 pound dog. When my husband went to pick up our dog, the groomer acknowledged the fact that I was upset and then she told me husband that she was late because traffic was bad. Also, this place claims to accept credit cards but every time we go the credit card machine is «down.» I really like supporting small businesses but customer service needs to come first.

I brought my dog here after adopting him yesterday and they washed him in 30 mins didn’t have him dried or his nails clipped when I came to pick him up. Tonight my grandmother comes in the door and pets him and finds 2 ticks on him. We live in an apartment and have astro turf where he uses the bathroom. There is no way he could’ve gotten these at my home. I don’t think they thoroughly washed him or else they would’ve seen these. Awful job… 3 ticks in counting right now.

My experience here was pretty impressive. I left a message On Friday that I would like to bring my pooch in on Sunday. I’m new to the area and this place was the closest to my home. She returned my called Monday morning and told me i could bring in my dog that day. I brought him in and he was out in a little less then 2 hours. Was only $ 40 for my Shihz Tzu and he smells and looks wonderful. Cut his hair exactly like I asked. This place is definitely recommended.

The price was pretty reasonable – $ 40/​dog, but that did not include teeth brushing. Overall I was very pleased for the price, but I thought they could have done a better job shaping the face and ears. I will definitely be a return customer, as my dogs seemed happy when I picked them up and the folks working there were very pleasant. However, if you’re looking for a more polished cut, I would head somewhere else.

Love this place! My teacup poodle Bella came out looking as cute as a button. Excellent job and they took the time to clip her nails and brush her teeth. They have a great selection of handmade bows and they even have upgrades such as «nail pawlish» and hypoallergenic oatmeal shampoo and conditioner for sensitive skin. They were able to accommodate us in the late afternoon on short notice and finished her within 2 hours. I would definitely recommend.

First off they are nice and your dog is in good hands but I have a teacup poodle her hair was uneven she has an alfalfa hair and I only take my dog where she can get bows I asked for pink bows and she had no bows on so she had a bath with a bad haircut and no bows so now I need to take her to her regular place I was hoping they were good since they are nice but I think they need more detail and thought into grooming especially if it’s called pimp my pooch I want my dog done up not a bad haircut and no bows

They did a great job with a short haircut for my terrier mix dog. So glad for having found a great groomer after going to Petco where I was not happy with their services and paid a lot more for a haircut and bath. Pimp My Pooch has quick, friendly service at reasonable prices.

Love love love this place!!! They are so loving with my older dog and so patient with my puppy. Their prices are reasonable and they do an awesome job grooming both dogs!

I was looking for a good groomer for a long time! I think i found one! :) my yorkie got a nice haircut, smells good, her nails are done correctly and next week we go there for a dentist! Prices are the best! Compare to other… Me and mu doggie Amy are very happy!

I love Pimp my Pooch because my puppy, Charlie, loves Pimp my Pooch. When I used to drop Charlie off at the groomers he would give me the saddest expression, but at Pimp my Pooch he practically jumps out of my arms into the owners. It always smells nice in there, my puppy always looks perfect when I pick him up and the owners are extremely kind. I 100% recommend this place :)

My first time ever going and it was pretty good can’t complain. My pit bull is very easy to handle but my white hairy German Shepard on the other hand is a problem and last time she got groomed the lady came out not too nice looking. This guy (can’t remember his name) took care of business! Will go back! Thanks for pimpin my pooochhhhh!,

The groomers were very nice, but somehow I feel that my dog still looked messy after her bath. Also, a couple nails were over clipped and they bled. $ 30 for a bath only, $ 3 for flea shampoo.

Awesome as always! Julio does an extraordinary job and my pup always comes out smelling n looking so fresh n so clean! I’d highly recommend anyone to bring their pet in.

Today was our first visit to Pimp My Pooch and I have to say I will definitely be going back.
My little Lucy is so happy she was getting pretty lost in all that fur. I know it sounds weird, but I think the best part about our visit today is that her bad breath is gone and she smells so clean. If you’ve ever heard that expression «smells like roses»…she does :) I don’t know what happened, but I came back to a whole new puppy.

The staff at Pimp My Pooch are awesome. They’re so friendly and took great care of my dogs. I have a pomchi who is low maintenance, but my shepherd mix is a handful. They did the best shave down on her, and my dog must’ve really liked them because she actually let them trim her nails (she can be really finicky when her paws are touched). I highly recommend them to anyone who needs their pets groomed!!!

Pimp My Pooch may sound like just another dog-​only groomer, but this is actually one of very few places in the area that will take a cat. I’m a cat owner, and I’ve always had trouble finding a place that will groom a cat. I’m very thankful that I found this place. I called and talked with Julio, one of the owners, about bringing my longhaired cat Zack in for a cut and shampoo. He was willing to open up a half hour early on a Saturday to make sure that we would be finished before the first dog came in.
I was worried at first about how Zack would handle a haircut since he’s never had one. But Julio was very gentle with him, and I was surprised at how calm Zack stayed throughout the entire process of 1 hour and 20 minutes. The tools they used included a rather quiet electric trimmer (not noisy and high-​pitched like those at a barber shop), a gentle low-​flow faucet in the bathing sink, and a powerful, yet quiet blow-​dryer. He didn’t really like getting wet, but the bathing was quick yet thorough. By the time we were finished with the whole process, Zack was calmly relaxing on the grooming table. He’s home now and looks great!
The price for the whole haircut, shampoo, and ear cleaning was $ 70, significantly less than the price at the nearest Petco or Petsmart that would take my cat (most don’t). I highly recommend this place to any cat owner who has been looking for a cat friendly groomer. Pimp My Pooch may specialize in dogs (hence the name), but I found it to be a great experience for my cat. If you’re a dog owner, I’m sure you’ll love it too!
