After spending three years in Germany, it was a breath of fresh air to find a place like this. The beer is awesome, particularly the Munich dark. My husband and I also enjoyed their home crafted root beer. Food is limited, but brats were delicious. Plan to go back again. Price is very reasonable.

Came here with my uncle and folks, and we absolutely loved the place, at least I did, we visited here two years ago in May and I just love everything they have there from food to drink

Like others have said: No decent food.(the BBQ truck next door is awesome though) The service is really slow and the bartender was short on patience. Beer was average. Too bad it is a nice location and the outdoor seating is fun.

The beer is fantastic. Anyone saying it isn’t has never set foot in Germany and probably prefers Budweiser or Miller Lite… My family and I just relocated from spending the last 3 years about an hour south of Munich, and the beer here would be perfectly accepted being served anywhere in Bavaria.

How does this place stay in business? Forget about food. There isn’t much to choose from, unless you eat from the BBQ food truck beside it. The beer… What beer? It’s not good beer. Plus, don’t drink too much(probably won’t because the beer is sub par), because if you need the bathroom, it would be more sanitary out back. The restrooms were dirty and not working. When I mentioned it to a server, they said it happens all the time. Great. I guess it’s location. Location. Location. That keeps this place going.

I have been coming here since this place opened. At first, it had awesome beer and great staff, except the owner who seems to be lacking in what they call the people skills. The beer brewed here is inconsistent and although it can be good enough to enjoy, it can also be almost offensive to pay for. On the bright side, the atmosphere and location make it the perfect place to visit on a nice summer evening. Fortunately, there isn’t much competition here, so it is usually busy. Some of the wait staff are pleasant and fun to be around, but others are lame and seem to hate the fact that they are serving which for me is very off-putting as is the owners demeanor towards those who pay his living. I would recommend this place when the Phil’s BBQ trailer is out front and open as it is hard to beat! I’d also recommend this place if you don’t really care about your beer as much as you care about atmosphere. I suppose the point is, this is more of a tourist trap with good food, rather than a legit brewery, that can be taken seriously, which Woodland Park desperately needs!

Beautiful outdoor seating for a perfect summer day. Husbo and I had the porter(good), unfiltered Pilsner(gooder), and the wheat beer(best). They are kid-friendly despite being a bar and welcomed people to order food from the food truck in the parking lot. My only regret is that we haven’t tried it before now.

A fun little stop to get some beer and a cheese platter. The atmosphere is awesome. The other cool thing is you can order half pints if you want to do some beer tasting.

We’ve been wanting to stop by this place since it opened. So, finally we did! Nice atmosphere & we loved the beer. The BBQ was very good, too. Tasty pulled pork, beans & cole slaw. Good service, too. Check it out!

Great brew menu and very chill ambiance. Limited food options but the perfect place to stop for dinner after fly fishing all day. Can’t go wrong with sausage and cheese! Enjoyed it and will return.

Good beer and service, but I wished they served food beyond bar bites. I enjoy coming here on a regular basis since its convenient for locals.

I have to warn that this place is STRICTLY a brewery. We stopped here for lunch on our way through 24 west and were looking for a place to grab a bite. My friend likes to try microbrewery beer when possible, so we made a stop. The place is charming and cute inside. Although small. We pretty much sat ourselves because no staff seemed to be around when we got in. The place was deserted at half past noon. That should have been a clue. We finally got menus to the table and we sadly realized that the only food they had was chips and dip and some hot-dogs. That’s not exactly what I’d consider food, se we sadly left and crossed the street to Grandma’s diner. So in case you are looking for a place to eat some REAL food. This is not it. This is mostly a drinking hole. They only have drinking food(the food that you won’t care what it is after the 2nd or 3rd beer) so nothing even close to a real meal here. Pooey.

This was the first brewery that I went to in Woodland Park and there’s a reason I keep going back… and back. The beers are quite good and there is some simple fare available. One of my absolute favorite things about this place is the ridiculously delicious root beer. Time and time again I’ll just swing by for a growler fill, which is only $ 6. If you love root beer and have not been here, you’re losing at life.

Great place to relax, enjoy the scenery, and partake of fantastic locally brewed bear. The food is good — especially when Phil’s Pigout BBQ is set up on site. The service is fantastic and the wait staff is super friendly(and really cute). Highly recommended.

I’m giving 5 stars based off my first experience here. I got a beer and pretzel and both were really good to me. My husband didn’t like the pretzel, he said it was too dense but I liked it that way. I look forward to trying more of their food and beer.

Great place to grab a beer! I got a radler — which is hard to find outside of Germany -, and my boyfriend got a Hop Monster. Both of us are very happy and will definitely be back up from the Springs to chill out and sit by the fire on a cool summer evening. This is a new favorite hang out.

I went here on my first date with my wife, and wasn’t dissapointed – both her and the brewery turned out to be the real deal. The beer is great as well as the service. You can even have your own in house mug if you’re a regular. They have a cheese and cracker plate that’s a dissapointment, and a couple time i’ve gotten servers who weren’t having th ebest day. Besides that, it’s an swesome brewery. I reccomend the Manitou Springs Pale Ale; made from the mineral water down the hill in Manitou.

I love stopping in at this place. They have really good beer and a good variety. I like the chips and cheese. Goes well with the beer. This place does not have a real food menu, just a few appetizers. They do have a deal with a BBQ truck and a Pizza company that set up shop in the parking lot so you can have food while BierWerks focus on making quality beverage.

Woodland Park, somehow you always manage to impress me. I don’t know what it is, maybe I come to WP with low expectations. It’s really not the top of my places to visit list. If you find yourself in the area(for what reason, I don’t know) stop here! Sample their beer, get a pint, and have a seat! Check out the fire pit outside, it’s nice in the evenings. I never really know when I get to come to BierWerks. It just happens. It’s really a matter of how long we’ve been in the field. The tireder and hotter we are, then the more necessary a cold beer and a chair becomes. On several occasions we were lucky to catch some live music, both outside and inside. On cold days the mulled wine hits the spot, warming me up from the inside and overcoming me with a spicy Christmasy feeling. Oh yea! If you’re into things that move and swing… The child in me loves the rotating steins on the ceiling… I don’t know why, but when it rotates, I just can’t contain my giddiness! My last two cents: 1st cent — They usually have a food truck, I’ve only ordered from the bbq one before, not bad, but I’ll stick to just drinking here. I think the pizza one is overpriced, and again I’ll just let the beer sustain me until dinner. 2nd cent — Purchase a bierwerks growler! The logo is incredibly adorable. A bear, drinking from a stein?! So cute. I always fill a growler to go, what else is there to do at night at camp? Last time I was down here, I forgot my growler at camp. So I’ll be replacing it the next time I’m in WP.
