Best Chinese food I’ve ever had, awesome service! We eat here or get take out at least once a month. Egg rolls on the house every time. Fresh veggies and meat, never soggy or mushy.

We were craving Chinese food and were drawn to this establishment as opposed to the other one we passed in town because of its name(and that it looks like a Mexican restaurant). Granted, it was 2:00 on a Tuesday, but the service was incredibly fast and very friendly. We immediately ordered the cream cheese wontons, which were delicious! Our food was good and very plentiful(and had lower prices off the lunch menu). The quality was nothing to write home about but was exactly what I expected, and I plan on returning!

I’ve eaten at Fortune Dragon 3 – 4 times a month over the last 10 years. Even though the place is a dive, the food was always good. I wish I knew what’s happened to the place over the last few months… my son and I ate there this week and both were sick a few hours later. I used the restroom while there and I believe I saw mouse droppings in the corner near the trash can. Sadly, I’ll never eat at Fortune Dragon again.

I’m pretty sure this is my first Chinese review. I’m going with a 3 because it was actually really good but not the best I’ve had personally. I’m usually a buffet guy. My fav is General Tso spicy chicken. I loved when I called and she asked me how spicy I wanted it. I asked for it real spicy. I will say it wasn’t as spicy as I was expecting. The chicken was full of flavor and the portion size was amazing, it wasn’t to crunchy and not to soft, it was just right. I give it a 4 star for my smoking hot wife though. She had the vegetable fried rice. I’ve mentioned before she is very picky, she is not a real fan of Chinese food. On occasion she will agree for Chinese. She totally loved the food. The food was ready for pick up 10 minutes after we called, they were very friendly to me when I went in and picked up the food. We will try May Flower next but right now this is really good.

So we decided to try this since we live in Divide and I was craving Chinese bad! Now, it was edible. That’s about all I can say. My hubby ordered two different General Tso, one spicier than the other. Needless to say, neither was spicy and there was so much breaking it was hard to eat. The sweet and sour chicken was the same. We will not be going back :(

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to stop. I always find friendly faces and fast service at a great price. I like places that I am remembered, which is not a major let down if I’m not but really makes it a bit more pleasant when they do remember. I haven’t been here in over 6 months but they knew me and exactly what I was going to order: even remembered that hot mustard and chopsticks! Bonus! If you’re ever in Woodland Park, give Fortune Dragon a try. Oh — I got the Hot-n-Sour soup, which is my go-to soup when I’m feeling a bit run down: I believe it helps prevent getting sick but can’t prove that completely.

All star friendly service. Extremely fresh food served extra fast. Easy to do American/Chinese take out. Vegetable lo mein was off the hook, tons of fresh vegetables. The freshest orange chicken this side of the Mississippi. Large portions, reasonably priced. Definitely due for a repeat. Thank you! We found our take-out in Woodland Park.

The food was good! The service was fantastic! Me and my brother ordered kung pao chicken, it was very good! But the only issue with mine was I didn’t have very much chicken. But my brother had plenty so it must have been a mistake. For a small price you get plenty of food, even for lunch! For 7 bucks or so I got a huge plate plus fried rice, the soup of the day, and an egg role!

We tried Fortune Dragon because of the reviews stating it was better than our favorite, Mayflower Chinese. Getting past the appearance of the place, we ordered to go and picked up at the little drive-thru window. We ordered the lunch special that comes with entrée, rice, soup and egg roll. The General Tso was kinda mushy, which could of been from the condensation of the to-go container, so my daughter thinks we should try it again eating there. But we both agreed Mayflower definitely has better General Tso and we only ate a couple bites of the mushy chicken. The hot and sour soup was very good and honestly I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the soup or egg rolls at the two restaurants. Not sure we’ll try again, but if we do it will be dine in

I saw a lot of 5 star reviews for this place and was hoping it would leave a great food memory… not exactly what happened. I ordered the Orange Chicken and my wife the Shrimp with Snow Peas. While the flavor of the Orange Chicken was good, I found it odd that the chicken pieces were so thin they were a little hard and leathery. The shrimp was breaded which took away from the taste of them. I really enjoyed the Hot & Sour soup and the crab Rangoon. I wish I had time to try some of the other meals they offer but I also thought the price was pretty high compared to other Asian diners I’ve eaten at. We will keep looking for some better Asian food. I also want to mention that the owner and the wait staff were very attentive.

Okay, so this place is a total dive. If you judged it by its looks alone, you would probably turn around and go elsewhere. However, the food is very good, fast, and inexpensive. And the service was top-notch. The waiter treated us as though we were at a five-star restaurant. That was a very pleasant surprise.

Yum, yum, yum. Stopped in while driving through Woodland Park with a craving for Chinese food. Not the nicest looking building, but the food! Oh, the food! The family ordered Kung Pao Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, Egg Rolls, and Crab Wontons. All were cooked to order, steaming hot, and excellent. The staff was super friendly, even giving us the Wontons on the house! Highly, highly recommend. It’s worth the trip to Woodland Park from Colorado Springs to get some of this goodness.

This place is the bomb! If you read any of my other reviews, which I doubt you do, you will see that I love cheap easy Chinese food from questionable joints. Well, this one is at the top of my list. We have eaten here a few times before, but we have only done take-out or gone through the drive through. The food has always been good, but when we decided to eat in the restaurant, we were treated to once again, great food, and awesome service as well! We got in around dinnertime, and it was blisteringly cold that night. The restaurant is small, so it stays warm, but there are two doors, both without breezeways, so every time the doors are opened, you are treated to a blast of cold air, no matter where you are sitting. We sat down at a table in the corner, next to an oscillating space heater. We were approached by our server, who is also the owner. He is incredibly friendly, tentative and polite. We ordered a double order of dumplings, one for our 3 year old daughter, cause she loves them, and one for us, and soup for me and my wife. He brought us out our soups right away, with a third soup for our little girl. He said it was on the house, and then came right back out with a plate of spring rolls and sweet-and-sour sauce for our little one as well, again stating that it was on the house! We ordered, and our food came out fast and piping hot. I ordered the Happy Family and my wife got the shrimp lo-mein. Both were fresh, hot and delicious, and the portions were gigantic. The owner came back several times, refilled our drinks, and tended to us very well. There were 4 or 5 other tables as well, and he was on it with them as well. All in all, we enjoyed it very much. Great food, great service, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We will certainly be back again and again.

Typical Chinese. Limited seating, but uniquely, they have a drive-through. Hot and sour soup was good. Scallops with assorted vegetables came filling the plate. Curry sauce on the side had flavor without too much heat. Decent service, but couldn’t offer hot water with lemon to drink on a cold day. How pitiful!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on New Years Eve. We got lunch specials of sesame and general tsos chicken with wonton soup and Pepsi. My verdict is that it’s pretty good for this area. I liked the soup, the tsos sauce was good and I like that it comes with veggies, the pepsi was good. Not all my pieces of chicken had much chicken, there was alot of fried breading. I wouldn’t get the sesame or tsos chicken again, the chicken inside wasn’t like nice white chicken. It was chewy and fatty. Maybe I’ll try the kung pao next time or lo mein. And the fried rice was nothing special, just rice, very lil egg, no veggies, and quite dry. Their eggroll was OK. The cream cheese wontons are pretty good. Service was good. We were asked how the food was and given refills of Pepsi. I’ve been back a couple times since my above review and the chicken with green peppers is pretty good and the chicken lo mein. My hubbie likes the beef rice noodles. I appreciate that even when they’re very busy, they still provide nice customer service. I know that I can go in with my family and get friendly and timely customer service.

This is one of the hardest reviews I’ve ever written. My family of 5 ate here today. My dad says it’s the best Chinese around. They recently reopened after a big fire. We decided to get 3 dishes and eat family style. It was a good choice, as we all left full. The wonton soup was really good. The small wontons were very flavorful. The soup wasn’t as hot as soup should be, but that didn’t bother me too much. The food arrived quickly, before I’d finished my soup. We got shrimp with garlic sauce, Gen. Tso chicken and sesame chicken. All dishes were grand! The chicken was crunchy and the sauces were thick and flavorful. The veggies were crisp and there was a lot of meat and they didn’t just try to fill the dishes with the veggies. But here is the problem; with only a few bites left of her meal, my soon to be sister-in law found a bug in her General’s sauce. My brother removed it from her plate for her and kept it hidden. Needless to say, she was done eating. Now normally, I would never let a bug getting into the food mark a review down so far as one star; it’s not always something a cook has control over(maybe it flew in after it hit our table). But after finding the bug, we next found a long, black hair at the bottom of the shrimp dish. I looked into the kitchen and noticed the cook had nothing on his head; no net, no hat, no nuffim! So bug plus hair equals one star in my book. It is a shame, too, as we did enjoy the meal up to that point.
