Skimpiest portions ever! $ 7 steak el Gordo that barely even had meat on it. I paid extra for guacamole and I could barely even see the tiny smear that they put on it. Disgraceful. I was so happy that I found a jimboys near by and I’m NEVER going back. $ 14 on two Gordos that were smaller than my ground beef tacos. Total rip off!!!

While this place is extremely unhealthy, I love their food. Their bean and cheese burritos are delicious, although the cheese can sometimes get to you. I also really like their beef tacos, especially how the shell is lightly covered in Parmesan cheese. Good, but unhealthy.

HAVEAGAIN: if you want a ground beef taco like the one you grew up on at the bowling alley in Oakdale where you could get 3 tacos for $ 1, this is the place. It brings back memories of childhood and a time where Mexican food was Taco Bell and a few places with what I call American Mexican food: combo plates with enchilada, taco, rice and beans. Now I love more authentic Mexican food, but if you want to go back to an earlier time, Jimboy’s Tacos hits a home run for me!

This was the worst Jim Boys Taco I have ever been To. The meat was awful and burned. Four tacos, a chili rellano and one small soda $ 19.00. The sauce table was not fresh. At least the cashier was nice.

They have great food! I was actually surprised of such tasty tacos and their carne Assad plate always delights my lunch appetite. It’s a good place to eat Mexican food.

Had the super nachos and it wasn’t very super. All the ingredients were really bland.

Jimboy’s Tacos has never been the class of the food industry, but it should still be able to produce good, inexpensive, fast Mexican fast food. And unfortunately, this one doesn’t. I wouldn’t go as far as to say the food is inedible, but there are many choices I would choose to go to over this restaurant. This Jimboy’s location is not inviting. It sort of stands by itself between a few buildings, and is spartan and bland. There just isn’t a welcoming feel to it — no charm. Not even the fun fast food kind of charm of say Taco Bell or McDonalds. I had never set foot in this Jimboy’s location before — probably because of this reason. It just doesn’t look like a nice place to go. I was actually surprised that people were inside as the parking lot looked completely empty. The inside is pretty dark, and the dining room is dull. Also, there is an odor that permeates the entire restaurant. It might be from the Parmesan cheese they use on their tacos, but it just wasn’t pleasant. So why did I come here anyways? Well, I had a coupon for two free Jimboy’s ground beef tacos. Free food? Well, I’m in! And I had to at least give the place a chance, right? The two free tacos were actually the best thing I had here. They gave a good amount of ground beef, and the tacos were pretty decent tasting and filling. I would probably eat these again if given the chance. I do find it a bit odd that they coat their taco shells in Parmesan cheese, but it’s ok. The other food items I ordered were below what I would like to enjoy at a restaurant. Today I ordered the mini flautas and the enchilada plate. The mini flautas were a little over a dollar… and would have been fine, but the taste of them reminded me of the smell of the restaurant. So it was a bit off-putting. The enchilada plate had a few hits and a huge miss. The actual enchilada part of the plate with rice and cheese was decent. Sloppy, but decent. The absolute miss were the beans. The one bite I took I spit back out. It was just not a pleasing taste. I had to throw them away. I have one more free taco coupon… but I’m pretty hesitant to use it. Jimboys may be better in other places, but this particular one misses the mark for me.

I love me some Jimboys ground beef tacos! However, these are the worst Jimboys ground beef tacos I’ve ever tasted. That’s too bad because I live like 2 minutes from this location

Again, there’s no Zero-Star rating. I’ll make it short. The place is DIRTY… SMELLY… and the food… the FOODSUCKSHERE!!! It may be cheap… but with the way their food tastes… it doesn’t even amount to that. NEGATIVEZEROSTAR for this place. UGH!

Good but not great. Their food is not as good as many of the other Sac area jimboys. The carnitas taco was okay but the tortilla was not crispy at all. Plain corn tortilla sprinkled with Parmesan. When we went there no one else was in the whole restaurant. I can see why! Nothing special. I will be skipping this particular jimboys in the future

The place serves very terrible burritos. I bought 2 burritos and both had almost no meat, won’t go here again.

Got to love parm covered tacos! I only eat those and bean burritos there — Delicious. . Recently the customer service/friendliness aspect of the company seems to be going down in the drive thru(never been inside) — love the reoccurring groupons — makes me feel good about buying a $ 2 taco. normally I would not do that — but since groupon makes them closer to a $ 1 — then I get them. Recently I was shorted a couple tacos — after I got a hold of them(seemed to be an issue with their website questionnaire) — they righted the wrong within 24 hours(in my hand) – Thanks Jimboys — still a loyal customer!

Order the fish taco. Seems to have a beerish batter which tasted very good. Guac and chips were good too.

Not the best Jimboys but still beats taco bell. Burritos are a little underfilled and sometimes fried properly. The shredded beef taco is pretty good and taco tuesdays are awesome. Greasy and good.

Was looking for a quick lunch, and unfortunately I went to Jimboy’s instead of Taco Bell. Taco Bell even on their worst day would have been better than what I received at Jimboy’s. Their beef and bean combo burrito had so much grease that the end of the tortilla was solid orange and the yellow liquid was just dripping out everywhere. I am hopeful for growth in the businesses of Woodland, but sadly I think Jimboy’s at this location will be out of business soon. I’ve seen two businesses start and fail at their location already, so Jimboy’s would need to really excel. I arrived at 12:45pm on a weekday, which should have been packed for the lunch rush, and NOT A SINGLEPERSONWASTHERE. Their menu board is broken and has moisture trapped between the plastic face and their item display. It’s obviously been that way in disrepair for a long time because it’s soaked and faded. When I pulled up to the window, they would not take any credit or debit cards and the attendant asked me to pay cash since he already started the transaction and it would take«like 10 minutes» to reset their computer. Yep… this place will close in 3, 2, 1…

I’m a Jimboy’s fanatic! There’s a large patio area at this location, big enough to throw a little party! Love the chicken soft taco + vegetarian burrito combo, cheesy bean flautas(OMG good), ground beef tacos dusted with parmesan cheese, chile relleno with rice, basically anything off the menu. I think they may serve beer. If you’re an early riser, they offer breakfast. I’m not sure why they aren’t listed on the Jimboy’s main site, but they are definitely at this location.
