This is my husband’s favorite restaurant. He could eat here several times a week if And I love it as well. They serve the best paella you will find anywhere. While the spot appears non descript from the outside, the food is excellent. Top notch quality ingredients. Only the best crabmeat. They don’t cut corners on quality of ingredients. Great seafood, homemade desserts, Peruvian dishes. We’ve ordered dishes for catered parties as well. If you don’t try this place you are missing a great opportunity.

They have great food. If you wanna add a spice just ask for some pepper sauce to your food. The desserts are too expensive for my taste but everything else was ok to me well worth the money.

We love this place. We are quickly becoming regulars. They have a good selection of latino fare and American fare. In particular I love their empanadas(they offer both beef and spinach). Well worth it. Also the staff are friendly and the owner always comes out and says hello, and to see if everything is alright.

The food is really good and they give you so much. I got it on Friday and I will probably have enough for lunch on Monday. I will certainly go back.

Never a bad meal at Salsa Grill. I have been going here since I was a baby! Jay is the absolute best restauranteur I have ever met. He is incredibly personable and never fails to hook me up with samples of things he’s working on. He cooks with passion, and it shows in the food. Everything I have ever had has artfully crafted and delicious. The spinach empanadas, cream of crab soup(think bowl full of lump crabmeat!!), Caesar salad, braised pork, tamales, stuffed potatoes, steak… the list goes on. Don’t be fooled by the people saying this place is «mediocre!» Those people clearly have mediocre taste. ;)

I thought this was a little pricey when I got the Alfredo and the paella but once I got the food it was very heavy and worth it. I’ll be going back.

Walked in here anticipating the $ 10.95 crab cake sandwich Unilocal special for checking in. I checked in, presented my coupon and was told that they were no longer honoring it. When I asked her to clarify she said the restaurant didn’t even post the special but some other man did. Feeling like I was being jipped and this is a stunt they pull to get ppl pulled in I asked how much was the crab cake sandwich normally and what did it come with. She told me $ 17.95 and just the sandwich. I told her no thank you and went to Windsor Inn where I at least get a side for the same price. Smh, never again. Sad because I’ve tried their crab dip and it is delicious but terribly overpriced since I last came and no longer worth it. For these prices I can go to a nice seafood restaurant and have dinner of the same caliber and get more bang for my buck. I’ll pass next time I’m in town. Will be sticking with my usual Windsor Inn if craving a last minute crab cake

I’ve come here a million times and this is the first time I’ve not been happy with the service. I asked the manager with the glasses on if I could use the 10.95 crab cake sandwich and he advised NO… it’s been on Unilocal for7 years and they didn’t tell Unilocal to offer that and they don’t honor it. I believe if the owner were here he would have done something to accommodate since it’s not the customers fault the information is up there incorrectly. I’m not sure I’ll comeback here to eat at this point. They simply need to contact Unilocal and tell them to remove that offer if they truly don’t stand behind it. Seems like common sense to me.

Love the food! People are friendly and the portions are huge! I always try something new on the menu because everything looks delicious and tastes great! Best kept secret in Woodlawn!

I placed a call in order for the Pupusas. I was told that they had to placed with two and not a single order of just one. They are pretty large and taste great. The one thing I don’t really agree with is the $ 8.49 charge for two pupusas with a pinch of onions and a smaller pinch of lettuce. Usually pupusas come with seasoned cabbage. Not a fan of this spot.

The food here is delicious and fresh and sometimes the owner, Jay, will come out abd offer new dishes he is trying on the house. Most of the ingredients come fresh from his brothers farm in PA which is probably why the prices are a little steep(but well worth it for the quality imo). I can’t speak on the authenticity of the food but can say that most of it is very good and that the staff is excellent.

The Paella is very good!!! Great crab soup lots of crab in it. It is a little on the pricey side but the portions are big enough to make 2 meals out of. I always take half home and have it for dinner. Service is pretty good too.

I have never been let down by Salsa Grill. The food is always fresh and seasoned to perfection. The extra large portions are plentiful for dinner and lunch the next day. I have tried the paella multiple times and its fantastic! They are not stingy on the chicken, sausage or shrimp and it is loaded with sauteed and raw onions, grilled peppers n yellow rice. The cream of crab is pretty good too but I haven’t had that in a while. I have never dined in and $ 25 for carryout seems odd but it is well worth it! You won’t be let down.

Food was really good. I had the Jumbo Crab Cake and My friend had the steak. The steak was so tender and juicy you could cut it with a fork. Chef Jay is the best!!!

So far, I’ve tried 3 dishes at lunch time: the cheesesteak, chicken parm pasta, and the chicken and crab dip wrap. I thought the same thing. Weird combo right? But surprisingly the chicken and crab dip wrap was amazing! And it just ought to be for $ 16! All of their food is kind of on the pricey side, but is really good! Service varies…

I haven’t been here in a while and all of the sudden had a taste for their food. The service was good and every time I get food from here, I am never disappointed. Even though when I ordered my food they were a little busy, they sat with me while I waited and we talked… and that was nice of them. This time I got the empanadas and the baked potato stuffed with ground beef. I always get a slice of cheesecake when I come(which usually takes me 2 days to eat). I promised I would be back the next week to get a crab cake, but life happens and I was unable to make it. I always get carry-out so I haven’t had an experience eating in the dinning area. I will warn you though… they are a little on the expensive side. So, if you are looking for a cheap place, this is not the place to go.

When we pulled up to this restuarant, I was a little uneasy but told myself to relax and give it a chance. I wasn’t too thrilled about it being in a strip mall and being less formal than I expected. The service was okay(they were busy) and the food was pretty good. There were zero complaints about the food from my family. Everything was hot and well made.

The food is good a little over priced for a strip mall but there was so much on the plate I saved some for work the next day. If they up date and moved out the strip mall it may be better and more busy. I do recommend my friends to come here.

Salsa Grill is quite eclectic, the menu features both Peruvian and other Latin American dishes as well as pizza, sandwiches and subs. We went for lunch, I had the corn tamales, which were very traditional and accompanied by sour cream and also came with a Caesar salad which was a bit unconventional. My colleagues each had a sub of some variety, and while the portion sizes were fine, the food was nothing to write home about. It was fairly busy, but service was okay and the staff was friendly.
